About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 10. I have a golden retriever now and love all kinds of dogs. I grew up around dogs my whole life so I am very comfortable with them! I have 3 years of experience in dog walking as well as housesitting. I’m currently in college but my class schedule is light this semester and I am available the whole week. At home I have a golden retriever who I walk three times a day, morning, evening and night. At my house I have a fenced in backyard but I also like to take my dog for long walks as well. About: I have been the go-to pet sitter for my large family & friends for years and just decided to see if anyone else would need the service. I have no pets or kids but I am a pet lover in a nice home with a big fenced in yard. I like hanging out with the pets like little buddies, getting some days of cuddles and then sending them home 😅. About: I helped raise my own two family dogs and ensured that they were always walked, bathed, fed, and happy. It's also a habit of mine to go take the extra step like wiping my dogs and make sure they are clean after they've been outside. I've also taken care of my neighbor's dogs alongside our own family dogs, so I have experience handling multiple pets at once. I work full-time, Monday through Friday, while working from home 2-3 days a week. I also go to workout classes in the evening. Normally, if working from home, I take the dogs out for a walk in the morning. On other days, I take them for a walk in the evening. I normally take pets out 3 times a day, once in the morning, afternoon, and night. I make sure the dogs have a dedicated spot for food and bed. I have both a park and a dog park, 5-10 minutes away from my apartment, which I can take the pets to for a walk or some dog play time. About: From family pets, growing up on a farm, pet sitting in college, to multiple years taking care of animal ambassadors as a naturalist, I've been working with and caring for critters of all sorts for nearly as long as I can remember! About: I have pet sit for both friends and family for extended periods of time. Being responsible for care such as feeding, cleaning up after, and walking. I get done with work at 2 everyday so I am available for afternoon visits. I also have weekends and occasional wednesdays off so I can spend more time with the animals on those days. About: I had dogs growing up and own two myself now. I just love our furry friends! Familiar with lap dogs, work dogs and hunting dogs. I have a great deal of experience with oral, eye and ear medications for dogs as well as being a nurse at a local hospital by trade. Dogs are allowed to roam when I am home and also my furniture is pet-friendly. I play catch and tug of war with one of my dogs and take them on walks daily. I am happy to do all the same things with someone's pet, or more if the particular dog requires.
About: As someone who grew up on a small farm, I have been around a variety of animals since birth. I have experience caring for a variety of species and am comfortable handling any animal. I have volunteered with local animal shelters for over a decade, so I also have extensive experience caring for pets with behavioral issues and medical needs. I am a part-time sitter who is providing pet care services in addition to my full-time work. However, as a professor at a local university, I have a very flexible daily schedule and can easily provide pet care during typical business hours. Additionally, I do not work in the summer, which increases my availability from mid-May to September. I am very intentional about the number of clients I take at a time to ensure that I can provide comprehensive care to booked clients. I believe open communication is most important to be able to provide safe and reliable care for your pets. During our meet and greet, I will ask many questions to ensure that I have a full picture of what caring for your pet requires and how to meet your expectations. As someone who uses a Rover sitter to care for my pets when I am away, I personally understand the trust that is needed to leave your pets in someone else's care. I strive to build trust with clients by showing up when I say I do and following all instructions provided to me. And, it is not just about building trust with you but also your pet! If your pet has any behavioral issues or quirks, it's important for me to know this so that I can ensure safety for your pet and myself. This will help me adjust my interactions with them so I can build trust with your pet and respect their boundaries. The more information I have, the better!
