Communication was amazing from start to finish, and she was so flexible when our flights changed, which took a huge weight off my shoulders. Riley isn’t around other dogs very often, so I was a little nervous, but they did great together and it made me so happy to hear how well she adjusted. About: I'm a fur-baby "empty nester" who isn't quite ready to bring another cat into our home, but I still have plenty of love to give. Our sweet Oliver passed away in March 2026 at the age of 19. He was the last of our four beloved cats, all of whom lived long, happy lives into their senior years. Between my partner and me, we've loved and cared for four cats from kittenhood through their senior years. I personally adopted two of my cats as kittens from the Wisconsin Humane Society, and together we cared for all four through every stage of life. That experience taught me not only how to care for playful, energetic kittens, but also how to patiently support senior cats who may need a little extra time, gentleness, or help with their daily routines. I believe every cat benefits from mental stimulation and play. About: I've loved cats for as long as I can remember. My first pet was a cat named Cindy, along with her sister, Soncy. A few years later we adopted a tabby named Oliver. I grew up with Cindy & Soncy for about 15 years, and once we adopted Oliver, we have had him for 10 years. I currently do not live with the cats anymore, now that I have adopted a dog. But I am very familiar with the everyday care that cats need, including feeding, litter boxes, playtime, affection, and giving them space when they want it. About: I helped raise my own two family dogs and ensured that they were always walked, bathed, fed, and happy. It's also a habit of mine to go take the extra step like wiping my dogs and make sure they are clean after they've been outside. About: I don't actually call myself that, that's what my friends say I am. I've literally never met a dog I didn't get on famously with. I respect the fact that they are individuals with their own needs. I don't mean to sound too self assured with the title, but I earned it from friends. While I don’t have pets of my own, one of the reasons I love pet sitting is that I get to enjoy spoiling them and spending quality time with them! About: My dog care history began when I was in middle school and became caretaker for my family dog, Charlie (a Shiba inu mix). I have walked and cared for dogs of many different sizes and all ages both in my personal life and professionally. I have over 3 years if experience at doggy daycares. In my personal life I have cared for my dilute tortie Smokie for 7 of her 8 years. I have also cared for reptiles and amphibians at the Urban Ecology Center and am trained to handle snapping turtles. About: I am a part time college student. I am going to school to get my ECE Degree. I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 10 by volunteering at humane societies and having my own dogs. I also worked at a doggy daycares throughout Florida and Wisconsin. I love all dogs like they are my children. I would love to own my own rescue center but as of now I want to gain more experience with taking care of different breeds and just express my love of animals to the world.
