“I was so lucky to come across Perseus. I mainly chose him because Perseus had no other animals in the house so my 18-year-old sweet kitty could have the entire peaceful house to himself. In addition, Perseus’ home has a lot of natural light - a bay window for my kitty to curl up for a cat nap, and a large sliding patio door for my sweet boy to look out and watch all the squirrels and birds (which he loves). While I was on vacation, at least every other day (if not more), Perseus sent me pictures/videos of my cat – lounging comfortably in one of his cat beds, jumping on Perseus’ lap for a chin scratch, an action shot of my kitty playing with a new toy Perseus purchased for him, a picture of my kitty cuddling up on Perseus’ bed at night, or a video of Perseus singing my kitty a lullaby. It gave me so much comfort to know my sweet, old man was at ease. I’ve never felt more comfortable leaving my beloved cat to someone I didn’t really know (Perseus and I did do a “house visit” before I went on vacation). I honestly believe Perseus gave my kitty as much love and attention as I would have if I was home.”

About: Hi, my name is Lynn and my love for pets started at a young age. I find that dogs need more than love and affection. They need mental stimulation. While your dog is in my care, I assure you they will have all three. (Love, affection and mental stimulation) I have always had dogs my entire life. I currently have a 3 year old Lagotto Romagnolo named Bonita. She loves to play with other dogs big or small. I live across the street from a park so we will have plenty of play time. We will do lots of walks, play time as well and some down time. If you need help with basic obedience training, let's chat. It's also a habit of mine to go take the extra step like wiping my dogs and make sure they are clean after they've been outside. I work full-time, Monday through Friday, while working from home 2-3 days a week. I also go to workout classes in the evening. Normally, if working from home, I take the dogs out for a walk in the morning. On other days, I take them for a walk in the evening. I normally take pets out 3 times a day, once in the morning, afternoon, and night. I make sure the dogs have a dedicated spot for food and bed. I have both a park and a dog park, 5-10 minutes away from my apartment, which I can take the pets to for a walk or some dog play time. There are also multiple yard-like grass areas where the dogs are meant to do their business. If pets stay with me for longer than two weeks, I bathe them every other week.

I do live in a two story house with the primary bedroom upstairs. Depending on the preference, dogs are usually allowed to roam free whether I am home or not but I do have gates to keep them from going upstairs if necessary.

About: Hello and welcome! We take care of/have taken care of all different kinds of pets. We have our own two dogs, as well as six cats. We have experience with multiple different breeds and types of animals, as well as being able to handle many at a time. (We have had up to 9 dogs in my care at one time!) I know how hard it is to leave your pet behind, which is why I will update you with pictures as much as you would like. I have a finished basement if your loved one would prefer to be separated, and also have many open rooms for them to choose from for slumber. The cats have a gated off cat room, only accessible to humans and kitties. The crew and I can't wait to meet you! (Or if you prefer the whole crew won't meet you :)). Dani is currently home full time. At this time Dani is home for almost the entire day, with occasional errands. You can request our schedule for any amount of time to confirm your loved one will be cared for properly and on time. We deep clean all items used after a pet stays, so that they are ready for the next pet to stay. We have extra blankets, beds, crates, bowls, and more. We keep our fishtanks neat and clean, as well as my home. My dogs are extremely friendly even with cats. My backyard is fenced in with access through a back door. When it's nice out we play outside with the dogs where they have access to a kiddie pool to play in the water. I have started to add more outdoor play equipment/toys.

About: Having been surrounded by dogs and cats throughout my life, I've cultivated a profound passion for working with these wonderful companions. While growing up, my mother and I had a cat, but most of my interactions with pets occurred through my grandparents. My grandparents have always had dogs and allowed me to be actively involved in their care, including feeding and walking. This experience nurtured a deep passion and profound appreciation for animals, as they are not just our pets but integral members of our family. I embarked on my first job at McDonald's, where I gained valuable experience in providing excellent customer service. In September of my first college year, I began working at the UW Veterinary Hospital as a kennel worker. This role primarily involved cleaning and providing vet students, vet techs, and doctors with the necessary equipment for treating animals. In the following spring semester, I left the hospital and secured a position as a dog caregiver at Dog Haus University in Madison. I was already familiar with dog behavior, but this job allowed me to gain confidence in recognizing a dog's emotions through their body language. Additionally, I currently work at a doggy daycare in Milwaukee called Unifursity in the same capacity, but with the added responsibility of pottying and feeding dogs since this establishment also offers boarding services. I have experience in petsitting my grandparents' dogs in their home while they were out of town and have demonstrated my ability to maintain their routine. Being at the doggy daycare has allowed me to gain new skills such as properly administering the Bordetella and Distemper vaccination, along with solidifying my skill in maintaining a dogs daily schedule when it comes to feeding, pottying and excerise. Regarding my experience in Madison, opportunities that arose did not align with my housing situation since I did reside in the campus dorms. Patience is a quality I've developed over the years, partly due to having younger siblings who can be quite challenging. My grandma's dog, a large German Shepherd with severe separation anxiety, has given me experience in dealing with dogs who are considered "difficult." Working at the daycare, patience is crucial, as some dogs struggle to follow instructions and require consistent redirection. There have been instances of nervous dogs who were initially wary of strangers, but through careful handling, consistent communication, and positive interactions, I gained their trust while maintaining authority when necessary. I am a full-time student, but I have flexibility on times as my schedule isn’t super demanding. I do work Thursdays, Fridays & Sundays, and I’m able to be accommodating around times if needed. While I do have a full house that could be overwhelming to some pets, as a pet sitter in a client's home, I will follow their guidelines closely which may involve feeding pets according to their usual routine, administering medication if necessary, and engaging in play or exercise activities. I aim to maintain a clean and organized space, respecting the home and the pet owner's preferences. The specific services I offer may vary, so I'm adaptable to the needs of both the pet and the owner. About: I've grown up with pets ever since I was little. I've been trusted even from young ages to walk, feed, and clean up after dogs. I've never had a bad experience and I'm always willing to encounter any and every kind of dog out there with lots of love and care! I have my own pet at home, had him for 10 years. Even after so long, it's so easy and even fun sometimes to do the little things for your pets like feeding them, walking them, and just making sure you spend some quality time with them! There's never a moment I don't want to be around my pet, or any pet for that matter! I always think the key to good pet care is real love and attention. Watching for what your pets want and giving them it will make them happy. If it's attention, bring on the cuddles! If it's a walk, let's do it! And that goes for pets that aren't mine as well. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and truly consider them family. Growing up, my family had a Cocker Spaniel, then a Weimaraner, and eventually we fell in love with Labrador Retrievers — we’ve had three Labs in a row. My most recent chocolate Lab, Thor, passed away about 2 years ago, and until we’re ready to bring another dog home, I’ve decided to pour that love and care into other people’s dogs. My dogs have always been right by my side, so your dog will never feel like a guest. If your dog enjoys car rides, they’re welcome to come along with me. At home, they’re free to relax on the couch, go for walks, play at the dog park, or just enjoy companionship and attention throughout the day. I trained our labrador Thor to retrieve so if you have a hunting dog and they have a favorite retriever toy I’d be happy to keep their skills fresh while you’re away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your dog, and I’ll care for yours as if they were my own — with plenty of love. I work full-time Monday to Thursday.I am an early riser due to work and having young kids. I work 10 minutes from home so stopping home for potty breaks and exercise during the work week is easy to do. Friday,Saturday,Sunday we are home bodies with two young kids and will treat your dog like family all day. I can crate your dog in our XL crate with a comfy bed if needed. Puppies can be put into a puppy play pen as needed. We have a nice yard to play and a dog friendly neighborhood for walks weather permitting. I will only watch one dog at a time for dog safety and to give your dog my full attention. I will watch multiple dogs from the same household. Due to young kids (3&5 year olds) living in our home I do request dogs that do well with children. If you have a puppy I understand the potential teething and nipping stage is apart of a dogs growth and understand the process as I’ve had 4 puppies in my life. My children will always be supervised around your dog.
