He fit me into his schedule for a meet n greet (which went really well), I really liked that he had a fenced in backyard. The stay was arranged for 5 days (I ended up coming back a day early and was able to pick him up early). Zachary provided updates early in the stay to let me know how my dog was settling in. Zachary was very responsive to my messages and was quick to reply. If you have a dog with separation anxiety (like mine), it was great that he lives in a house, so there were no wall neighbors (such as apartments) to worry about with any barking. If I find myself traveling for a few days again, I will definitely reach out to see if Zachary is available to watch my dog!”

During Tucker’s stay, I received texts, photos, and videos which assured me that he was receiving great care, attention, and was thoroughly enjoying his stay thanks to these two wonderful women! They followed his feeding and sleeping instructions exactly and were prompt in his pickup and drop off. Their fenced-in yard was a big plus as it allowed him to explore and interact without the need for a leash (which he needs at home). He loved it!! About: Growing up, I always had a pet. Animals are no stranger to me and I am quite fond to any pet. They are life’s companionships. I’m currently working part- time so I’m mostly available on my weekends or Monday and Wednesday after 6:30. But I do have some free time in between other week days - all depends on school as well. I give pets space for them to adjust new company. Then slowly be able to come in contact and hopefully be able to earn their trust.

Of course we missed her while we were gone, but Dan and Holly are great communicators and sent pictures and messages to assure us that Roxy was doing well! Roxy LOVES spending time with Dan, Holly, and the dogs!”
About: I owned a dog growing up and cared for and trained one with my family. I sit for friends and family from time to time and I love to play and take dogs for walks and, if they are able, runs of up to a few miles! I have a fenced in yard, and my kids (4, 8) are also great with animals. I work from home. With the exception of rare travel days, school drop-offs, and evening events, I will always be around the house to care for your pup. Your pet will get the attention it needs, as I work from home and I have a fenced in yard, as well as young boys that are great with animals. Frequent outside visits and play times are very doable.

About: For over forty years we’ve always had dogs in our home. We have a sweet pitbull mix that we adopted last year. She came from a home with several dogs so she loves to meet and make new friends. We enjoy providing a good home to animals and we look forward to caring for your pets. Potty breaks can be provided every two hours. Your dog will have plenty of opportunities throughout the day to run, play fetch, or explore in our fenced backyard. We try to follow the same routine as you would for your pet at home. We only care for two dogs at a time as we have a dog of our own. The dogs have free run of the house if the owner doesn’t specify otherwise.

“Lisa took great care of my dog while I was away for about a week! She sent lots of cute and cozy pictures of him hanging out with her animals and was always easy to get in touch with. She also did a good job handling his food aggression and making adjustments to make things work for everyone. I’d definitely recommend her!”

“Zachary was great with my petsitting needs - especially given that I reached out for the first time within a week of needing the help. He fit me into his schedule for a meet n greet (which went really well), I really liked that he had a fenced in backyard. The stay was arranged for 5 days (I ended up coming back a day early and was able to pick him up early). Zachary provided updates early in the stay to let me know how my dog was settling in. Zachary was very responsive to my messages and was quick to reply. If you have a dog with separation anxiety (like mine), it was great that he lives in a house, so there were no wall neighbors (such as apartments) to worry about with any barking. If I find myself traveling for a few days again, I will definitely reach out to see if Zachary is available to watch my dog!”
“This was my first time using Rover and I couldn’t be happier with Dawn and her husband! They were so welcoming at our Meet and Greet and made us feel very comfortable leaving Zeke overnight. She sent us updates and pictures of him having a blast in their back yard, so I could tell Zeke was having a great time.
