“Zachary was great with my petsitting needs - especially given that I reached out for the first time within a week of needing the help. He fit me into his schedule for a meet n greet (which went really well), I really liked that he had a fenced in backyard. The stay was arranged for 5 days (I ended up coming back a day early and was able to pick him up early). Zachary provided updates early in the stay to let me know how my dog was settling in. Zachary was very responsive to my messages and was quick to reply. If you have a dog with separation anxiety (like mine), it was great that he lives in a house, so there were no wall neighbors (such as apartments) to worry about with any barking. If I find myself traveling for a few days again, I will definitely reach out to see if Zachary is available to watch my dog!”

About: I have had a deep compassion for all animals my whole life, wanting nothing more but for them to be happy. When your furry family members are with me, safety and entertainment will be of top priority. Giving love is second nature to me and I will be at full attention with your dog. About: I’ve had animals, mostly dogs and cats since I was A child. Let me know what your fur baby needs! I’m happy to accommodate. I had a beagle with me for 15 years and he was on various medications as he aged so I know how to administer medications if needed. I work full time Monday through Friday from 8-4:30 but am happy to walk your pet before or after those hours! I am happy to provide whatever care they might need while you are away. I see pets as members of the family. I have 2 dogs...a terrier and a mini poodle. I love them to pieces and they run the house! Lol. They are well behaved and allowed on the furniture and the bed. Your fur babies would be too! I want them to be comfortable in my home. If I’m dropping in to take care of your fur baby in their home just let me know what I need to do for them and consider it done! I take my pups out every morning for a short walk, after work, and just before bed time. I feed them twice a day with occasional treats that they love mixed in :) I'm in an apartment so they will be leashed when we go outside. I live close to 3 different parks as well as the Menomonee River Parkway....lots of space to walk with them and let them sniff away!

About: I've had multiple dogs over the last 30 years. Mainly Bull Mastiffs, Border Collie Mix, and multiple Pitties. We lately have been adopting older dogs to give them the best end of life possible. For friends I've watched many smaller to larger dogs, comfortable with all. I have experience with all sorts of meds and care, although I prefer to stay away from anything with needles when possible. We've been to the vet more times than I can count, and have gotten good at understanding/reading dog behavior and signs of distress. I have experience with all soft of personalities...shy or alpha, lazy or rambunctious, etc. I like to understand them and work with them where they are at so they enjoy themselves and are happy. I'm a pretty calm presence and in general dogs trust me right away. My wife will joke that I am a dog whisperer as dogs tend to follow my lead easily, but I think it is simply being confident and projecting that you are there to take care of them. I have a very flexible work schedule and am home most of the time. I only have 1 dog right now (Oscar, 82 lb Pitty who loves everything and everyone...he walks around with soft toys like they are his dolls), but will likely be back to 2 in the near future. I walk my pup(s) pretty much every day. We live near Hart Park and the Oak Leaf Trail so getting out to walk along the river/parks is very easy. New to doing this formally rather than just for friends. Normally watch friends dogs at their place. If we take care of your pup in our home, we will always have 1+ pups that will be other-dog friendly. My wife and I have a small Tosa home but fully fenced-in yard to be able to let them out at any time day or night without worry. We have a small main floor but it has 3-4 dog beds and multiple toys (prefer dogs who are ok with soft toys, as our pup(s) don't rip those up. Will likely prefer caring for your pup in your home, it simply mitigates the crowding in the house and any potential conflicts. If I look after any cats, those would be at your house. We no longer have cats and aren't prepped for that in any way.

About: I do part time senior Care and some of my clients have animals I find it very important that they are well taken care of and happy as they bring a lot of comfort to my clients when I'm away This means plenty of walks up and down hills going out and sitting on the grass at live music shows and tons of interactions with other dogs while we shop for groceries downtown Food schedules almost go hand in hand when Im meal prepping for my human clients We've invented a few new games with my one clients and her lab misty Her favorite being the wagon tire I attacted to a bind of cordage and a spring up in a tree limb misty loves to jump and snatch the tire while it bounces around Well I love to work out throughout the week and on weekends I would normally go for small hikes woth my friend but she has developed a respiratory issue and can no longer do so I find it would be amazing to get some energy out with so eager to run and play dogs I monitor a lot of potential puppy problems as I call them after all big dogs share a lot in common with toddlers you have to make sure that they arnt biting scratching chewing or marking any beloved items or areas in the house Getting sufficient exercise helps stimulate the dog's and corner these bad behaviors Plenty of treats and positive reinforcement goes a long way as well

I will strictly follow your pet's specific daily feeding and medication schedules to maintain their comforting routine. As an experienced and enthusiastic walker, I ensure they get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and fun outdoor adventures. Your pet will receive attentive, loving care and the absolute highest quality companionship every single day. In July I will have open availability. Please refer to my calendar or feel welcome to send me a message. I am also very accommodating. I will always follow the instructions that the pet owner gives me. Hiring me your pet will always be fed on schedule, enjoy play time, and treats. Every home I visit will be respected and well taken care of.
About: I have grown up with cats and dogs my whole life and have had the honor of caring for others pets as well! I have cared for a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, horses, and birds! I am currently in school and find myself with a lot of free time! I enjoy going for walks and playing with my cat that lives with me! I live in a gated community with a fenced in dog yard! I know lots of great walking areas to bring your dogs too for a little fun adventure!
About: I am new to Rover and looking forward to providing the best care for your loved one. I have worked with dogs through shelters and personal pet sitting for family and friends. I am new to Rover and work part-time with animals. I am available for pet sitting, walks and drop-ins during the weekends all day and with some flexibility during weekdays. We can discuss boarding on a case by case basis. I will follow the owner's guidelines and treat your house and pets with respect. “Dawn and her family provided a comforting setting for our dog Astro. He was the only client they had for the stay which to us is just what he likes. He’s not much a social one, but tolerates well with other dogs if he has to! They paid Astro lots of attention when he needed it. Kept us up to date on anything that was important to tell us and sent pictures to show us he’s doing well! “Zachary was great with my petsitting needs - especially given that I reached out for the first time within a week of needing the help. He fit me into his schedule for a meet n greet (which went really well), I really liked that he had a fenced in backyard. The stay was arranged for 5 days (I ended up coming back a day early and was able to pick him up early). Zachary provided updates early in the stay to let me know how my dog was settling in. Zachary was very responsive to my messages and was quick to reply. If you have a dog with separation anxiety (like mine), it was great that he lives in a house, so there were no wall neighbors (such as apartments) to worry about with any barking. If I find myself traveling for a few days again, I will definitely reach out to see if Zachary is available to watch my dog!”
