About: I’ve grown up with cats my entire life and currently have two of my own, so I’m very comfortable with all kinds of personalities! From shy hiders to confident attention seekers, volunteering at the Austin Animal Center for the past year and half has given me hands on experience with cats of all temperaments and needs. I understand that every cat has their own routine, quirks, and comfort level, and I always aim to keep things as stress-free and familiar as possible while you’re away. As a certified crazy cat lady, I can promise your fur babies are in good hands with me 💓
“Leandrea was terrific. She came over to meet the cats before I left, she sent pictures and updates daily, and I came home to two very happy cats and clean litter boxes. Couldn't have asked for better. Thanks so much!”

“Hope was so amazing with my kitty! She left very detailed notes, giving me complete peace of mind while I was dealing with a loss in the family. Hope was extremely communicative and responsive which was very helpful. She not only made sure my kitty’s basic needs were met, but went above and beyond to play with her, too. Very grateful for a phenomenal sitter like Hope. 😇”

About: I’m a regular dog foster and walker at MADACC, so I’m comfortable catering to all different pup personalities and needs! I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was young, from puppies to senior with medical needs. I work remote 3 days a week and have no pets of my own, so I have lots of availability to give your dog the attention and care they need! Whether you’re looking for a walker or somewhere to take your pup for a long weekend, I can make most things work. I have a spacious apartment in a dog-friendly building where your dog will have plenty of space to lounge around! I live close to the Summerfest grounds so I have plenty of access to green space for long walks, or just a quick jaunt around the block depending on their preferences. I treat every dog I care for like my own, so you can rest assured your pup will be well cared for with me!
“I am so happy to have found Laurie when I needed someone to take care of my cat Harley while I was gone on an extended vacation. First she explained how Rover works as I was new to the app and helped me fix up a couple things. While away she spent time with Harley as agreed. She worked with him wonderfully where he was snuggling with her by the end. I got pictures every day of their different interactions. Upon return, Harley was in good spirits. He missed me but having someone spend the time she did was perfect for him. The house was in excellent order also. I highly recommend Laurie if you need a pet sitter.”

“Berenice was consistent and kept my cats from guessing at what time they will eat and get some cuddles. I appreciate this because they do not like change. She communicated via Rover only which was a bit hard because of where we were so next time I will insist on getting texts instead if possible. She was also very responsive when I asked her to do something.”

“Marcie made sure she peeked in on my scaredy cat who hides around strangers. She engaged, played, and gave loves to my other two cats. We look forward to having Marcie cat nanny for us in the future.”

“Jackie took great care of our cat on short notice when we decided to go out of town for Thanksgiving. I could tell from the pictures she sent that our cat was very, very happy!!! Thanks, Jackie!!!”

“Luscely was available last minute and didn't make me jump through hoops to dogsit. She was communicative, fair, and my dog was happy. I will absolutely use her again!”

About: Welcome to my profile! I grew up with a wide variety of pets, so I truly understand how each one has their own unique personality. I know how deserving of love every animal is, and I will do everything in my power to make your pets happy. I treat your pets as my own, while also understanding the need to accommodate to every pet's individual quirks and needs. I recently lost one of my pups to cancer, and because of this, I am really yearning for some more furry friends to meet. Maybe your pet can be my next friend! I recently lost my job, so I currently have a very open schedule! I do have a couple of established clients outside of Rover, but my schedule is still very flexible. I live in a condo-style apartment, so although I do not have a yard, I go on many walks each day- whether around my neighborhood or by driving to a park or beach. I also live just down the street from a dog park, for pups who enjoy socialization and time off-leash. Additionally, I have a patio space for pups who enjoy hanging out al fresco when the weather allows. My own pup is a bit of an escape artist, so I am extra careful with doors, gates, and secure leashing practices. I am also aware of how curious dogs can be, so in my home you can be sure of a safe environment where there are no dangers within a dog's reach (or jump). Not only do I treat your pets with love and respect, but I treat your home with the same care. You can be sure I will keep things neat and tidy, and always make an effort to leave a space cleaner than I found it. No matter the service or location, every animal deserves to feel safe, cared for, and loved. I assure you that I put all my energy into caring for your pets, and I will always treat them as I do my own.
“monica was so nice and professional. pinot was so happy and tired from all the walks when he came back home. monica sent me 3 pictures throughout the day when my dog was at her doggy day care.”

About: What sets me apart is both my personal and professional experience caring for animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and currently work at Dogtopia, where I care for and supervise dogs daily. This has helped me become patient, attentive, and comfortable working with different temperaments and energy levels. I also have experience with both senior dogs and puppies. My senior dog, Otis, had arthritis, so I learned how important patience, comfort, and attentive care are for older pets. I also helped raise and train our pug puppy with basic training, routines, and socialization. Because of these experiences, I understand that every pet has different needs depending on their age and personality, and I always try to make pets feel safe, active, and cared for like they’re my own.⭐️😊 Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. I work at Dogtopia, where I help maintain a safe, clean, and fun environment for dogs of all sizes and personalities. 🐾 My job has taught me the importance of paying close attention to dogs’ behavior, safety, and overall well-being throughout the day. When I’m home, I also spend a lot of time caring for my own dog. I enjoy taking him on long walks by the lake, staying active with him through runs and playtime, and making sure he gets plenty of attention, exercise, and care every day.🦮🏃♀️❤️ When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I always prioritize safety, comfort, and keeping pets on their normal routine as much as possible. I make sure the environment is clean and secure by checking doors, gates, food, and anything that could be unsafe or easily gotten into by curious pets.🤗 I also pay close attention to each pet’s behavior, energy level, and individual needs to help them feel comfortable and stress-free while their owner is away. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, medication reminders, or simply giving them attention and companionship, I always try to make pets feel safe, cared for, and at home.
About: I had a 12 year old puggle who was my best friend! He was walked every day of his life. Now that he has passed, I am looking to spend time with other furry companions! I am recently retired, so I have lots of time and a very flexible schedule! I love all dogs and am very gentle with all pets. I love downtown and know all kinds of routes for your pets. I am an active person so long or short walks are easy for me to do!

About: I have lifelong experience with animals, having pets all my life and working various animal care jobs. I worked at a doggy daycare for two years in high school, where I gained hands-on experience managing dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. That role helped me become confident in reading dog behavior, maintaining safe play environments, and providing attentive care throughout the day. Growing up, my family fostered puppies frequently, so I’m comfortable with young dogs and understand the patience, structure, and consistency they need. I’ve also had dogs and cats my entire life and have pet-sat for neighbors and family friends for years, caring for both energetic pets and older animals who need a gentler, more attentive approach. I recently graduated from UW–Madison and moved away from home, and I truly miss being around animals. Pet sitting isn’t just a job for me—it's something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to. I’m very caring, responsible, and dedicated, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priority. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I currently work part-time and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to plan my days around the pets I’m caring for. I often work from home, so I’m able to provide consistent supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. I’m typically not away from home for more than four to six hours at a time, and I’m intentional about making sure pets get regular care, playtime, and affection. Because of my flexible schedule, I can adapt to your pet’s specific needs—whether that’s extra exercise, medication timing, or just lots of cuddles and company.
About: Hi there! We are lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience and two sweet pit bulls of my own. Our home is shared with my playful and loving 3-year-old boy and my silly, affectionate 1-year-old girl, who both love making new friends. We've spent many years in responsible dog breeding, which has given me a deep understanding of canine behavior, health, socialization, and individual needs. Whether your pup is shy, energetic, or somewhere in between, We are confident and comfortable caring for all personalities, ages, and breeds. With me, your pets will be treated like part of the family — plenty of love, attention, structure, and fun. I’m committed to creating a safe, positive environment where every dog feels at home. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member! --- If you want, I can also tailor it to a specific service (boarding, drop-ins, walks, etc.) or adjust the tone to be more professional, playful, or concise. I offer flexible scheduling for pet boarding thanks to my role with a property management company, which allows me to be home often and adjust my availability as needed. This flexibility helps me give your pet plenty of attention, supervision, and consistent care throughout their stay. For everyone’s safety and comfort, we kindly require all pets to have their own crate during their stay. Crates provide a secure, familiar space for your dog to rest and relax, especially during downtime or when we briefly step out. Their safety and well-being are always our top priority. Also provide your pet with their favorite food/treats for their stay. We are also able to provide that for an additional fee.
“Kim is amazing! We always have her watch our dachshund Wendi whenever we go out of town or have an event to go to. She is so responsive and such a kind person! When she’s watching our dog, we know our dog is in great hands. Our dog always comes home happy and sleepy after hanging out with Kim and her dog! Thank you!!”

“Dan didn't mind my early drop off and definitely spoiled my puppy. He sent lots of pictures and gave great updates throughout the day. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.”

“Alex is an excellent dog walker/caretaker. My dogs love her and she is 100% reliable. She goes out of her way to help her clients. Her communication is excellent and timely. Highly recommend.”

About: I grew up with both dogs and cats. I currently have two cats of my own that I love with my entire heart! I know what it’s like to have pet parent guilt leaving your fur babies alone at home, and I would love to help take that weight off your heart! I am a professional volleyball player. I live here in Milwaukee during the off-season and don't have much to do in the summer. I workout in the mornings at 9am, but after that I am completely free. My gym is out in Wauwatosa, so it is no problem for me to make a trip out to the suburbs every day! I am usually busy on weekends, but weekdays are almost always wide open! I will follow whatever plan/schedule that you have laid out for your fur babies! I would feel most comfortable walking and caring for dogs that are trained on leash!
“Laurie was awesome! I went to work knowing my puppy was in good hands. Furthermore, with her extensive history in training dogs I knew she would do nothing but help my puppy become a well mannered adult dog on their walks. Furthermore, she gave me great tips as a first time dog owner. She's flexible and kind and very professional.”

“Emily was incredibly responsive to messages and was able to come by on short notice to do a meet and greet prior a few scheduled walks we unexpectedly needed later that day. In the pictures, it looked like our dog Ducky had a great time.”

My dog is getting older and slowing down so I would love the opportunity to go for walk or run accompanied by a dog. I live in apartment where dogs are welcomed and there is a dog park across the street along with a large piece of grass area where many pet owners take their animals.

I’m dependable, attentive, and comfortable caring for puppies, senior dogs, and pets with special routines. About: I’ve always loved being around dogs and have hands-on experience caring for pets for family and friends. I’ve taken my brother’s dog on walks and potty breaks numerous times and understand the importance of exercise, routine, and giving dogs plenty of attention. I’ve also cared for my sister’s dog for several days at a time while she was out of town, managing feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and providing companionship. In addition, I’ve helped friends by stopping by during the day to let their dogs outside and make sure they were comfortable and cared for. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and needs, and I strive to provide patient, reliable, and loving care so both pets and owners feel at ease. Whether your dog needs a quick potty break, a fun walk, or some extra attention while you’re away, I’m committed to treating them like they’re my own. I'm currently in between jobs, so I am free any day of the week. I usually spend my mornings on my job hunt and then go for a walk or run and exercise. I'm very physically active and enjoy being outside, so I'm very open and flexible! I have a private dog park at my apartment building that is great! I am also open to whatever my clients' needs and wants are. If they need me to stay at their place for a little to help their pet feel comfortable, I can accommodate. As mentioned before, I love being outside for walks, or if you have a sporty dog that enjoys runs, I can help out as well! I have a great track record for trust worthiness and dependability. I'm very communicative and will always be available to send pictures or talk through any questions you may have.

“Lisa is wonderful with our 2 pups. She is great with her communication and has taken exceptional care of them; they look forward to their weekly walk with her!”

About: I love nurturing all living things from children (although I am not yet a parent to a human), to plants and animals alike! I tend to put all living things before my own needs to prioritize their well-being. In addition, I recently took in a crested gecko and have learned so much about caring for reptiles as well. Everyday before leaving my apartment I make sure that both of my pets have plenty of food and water. In addition, I check to ensure that my plants are out of reach from my cat and that my bioactive terrarium is maintaining humidity. I care for pets by making sure they have food, water, a clean liter box, a moist environment, and get taken out for potty breaks depending on which animal I am caring for. I am willing to care for your pets with the same considerations in mind.
About: I am a grad student, I would love to care for you sweet pets! I grew up on my family farm with our dog Gatsby, our two horses Annie and Dakota, some cows and pigs and many cats. ****Happy to do house sitting, but not comfortable staying over night at others homes. I would come in the morning and evening to care for your pet — walks, attention, dinner, etc. Happy to be flexible depending on your pets needs, but not comfortable staying overnight. I work 9:00-4:00 M-F, depending on the pets needs I could stop by for a lunch time walk/lunch/bathroom/playtime! I am a morning person, so a nice walk in the morning would be great for me and your pet. I will have great care with your pets, and will communicate with you how they are doing to keep your mind at peace while you are away from your pet!

About: I’ve been a dog owner and lover from a very young age. I had 3 small dogs growing up, including a chronically ill girl and an elderly animal. I dog sat often growing up and in high school, both small and large dogs. This also included medically complex dogs and elderly animals. I have taken care of single dogs and up to 4 small dogs at the same time. I am good with dogs that are high energy and very smart, and love to play with them! I’m currently in college, with classes daily from around 8am to 2pm. Over the summer I will only be available before 9am and after 4pm on weekdays and available all day on weekends. I believe dogs should be treated with respect and care that humans are treated with. I am able to handle scrappy/barking small dogs on walks and in home. I can handle larger, less aggressive dogs. Energy levels of all kinds are welcome.

About: I have had many dogs in my lifetime from childhood and as an adult and love to give dogs the love and compassion they deserve I am a new physician assistant graduate and do not start my new job for quite a few months so I have quite the down time to take care of pets! I have a dog myself and ensure I will care for your dogs with the same amount of love, compassion and care! I also have a background in healthcare

“Ashlee was very communicate and sweet during Frankie’s stay with her! She was flexible and followed all of our requests. She sent updates with photos each night. Thanks Ashlee!”

“Sara was both completely professional and warm/kind with Kiara. She was ready to set up a meet & greet when it worked for us. She was also patient when our schedule changed a bit for drop off and pick up, and let us shift the times a bit. Most importantly, Kiara had a great time with plenty of walks and trips to the dog part with her new dog friend Josie.”

“This was my first time using Rover and I couldn’t be happier with Dawn and her husband! They were so welcoming at our Meet and Greet and made us feel very comfortable leaving Zeke overnight. She sent us updates and pictures of him having a blast in their back yard, so I could tell Zeke was having a great time. I highly recommend Dawn and will definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

“Flex was happy to have stayed with Mary. We received multiple pictures of their activities. Mary's very communicative. Would use her again and recommend to others.”

“Yolanda took very good care of both of our babies. As we were dropping them off one of our dogs was bleeding from biting their lip and Yolanda quickly took care of it and healed the injury. We received photos of our babies and we also had a very detailed conversation about how our babies were while in their care which made us feel more comfortable as we do have pit bulls and they have a bad stigma on them but the understanding that Yolanda and her husband have with this breed was very important and reassuring to know that we are able to trust them with our dogs.”

“Elizabeth and her family took great care of my dog, Reba. She was communicative and flexible with me and provided sweet picture updates for me. I have already re-booked with Elizabeth to watch Reba, again!”

“Tracy is the best dog sitter! My dog was given the attention she likes. There were other dogs that my pet met at Tracy’s that she made friends with. She got to play outside and go for walks. It was her dream come true!”

“Zachary was very helpful with our dog Otis. He was responsive and asked questions when needed. We felt Otis was in great hands with Zachary. Will use him again!”

“This was our third time having Katie take care of our dog, Mylo, and she has been consistently wonderful. Her communication is excellent. She’s always helpful, informative, and keeps us updated. Mylo can be on the nervous side when he’s away from home, but he genuinely seems to enjoy his time with her. Katie does everything she can to make him feel comfortable and at home, which gives us great peace of mind. We’re so grateful to have found her and will absolutely continue booking with her.”

“Sarah, Dan and their girls were amazing! Badger loves children and had a ball. They provided pictures during the stay which helped calm our nerves. We noticed he was exhausted when he got home which is a good sign. We would definitely use them again.”

“Kristine took great care of Twyla. She communicated well and shared photos of her each day. It looked like she got lots of exercise and social time with her dog Cooper and the other dogs she cared for during the day. When we picked her up after her stay, she was clean and seemed to be pretty comfortable in Kristine’s home. We will continue to use her in the future.”
