“I cannot say enough about Heather and Alex. This was the first time I had to leave my cat, Pinky, for two weeks and I was nervous. Most other 'in-home' boarders that take cats, have cats of their own, which presented a problem for me as Pink doesn't really get along with other cats. She's been declawed and I was worried that in a house with a bunch of other cats, she'd be bullied:( But Heather and Alex only commit to one Rover boarder at a time. They work from home and so one or the other of them is almost always there. Their home is spacious, clean and has a lovely large screened in area, which my girl loved. They sent plenty of updates with pictures and videos. In fact Pink looked so comfortable, I was actually getting jealous. I always carry a mini journal and pen around with me to jot down notes or things I need to remember, especially if there are specific instructions, like dietary or playtime needs for pets. I usually am the one who takes my family dog for a walk every day since I'm the only one in my family who has the most amount of free time on their hands. If I ever dog sat for a friend's pet in my home, I usually don't really change my routine but add the necessary care requirements for both dogs. About: I owned a dog growing up and cared for and trained one with my family. I sit for friends and family from time to time and I love to play and take dogs for walks and, if they are able, runs of up to a few miles! I have a fenced in yard, and my kids (4, 8) are also great with animals. I work from home. With the exception of rare travel days, school drop-offs, and evening events, I will always be around the house to care for your pup. Your pet will get the attention it needs, as I work from home and I have a fenced in yard, as well as young boys that are great with animals. Frequent outside visits and play times are very doable.

About: For over forty years we’ve always had dogs in our home. We have a sweet pitbull mix that we adopted last year. She came from a home with several dogs so she loves to meet and make new friends. We enjoy providing a good home to animals and we look forward to caring for your pets. Potty breaks can be provided every two hours. Your dog will have plenty of opportunities throughout the day to run, play fetch, or explore in our fenced backyard. We try to follow the same routine as you would for your pet at home. About: I have had dogs my entire life. Recently, my husband and I, lost our beautiful friend, Freckles. She was 14.5 years old. I am retired, and want to help people who struggle with finding someone reliable to care for their furry friends. I've been there! I'm currently working 1 to 2 days per week, very part time hours. “Laura is a wonderful dog sitter! Our 18 month old pup stayed 3 weeks with her and her chocolate lab. This was her 2nd stay with them. She was well taken care of. My pup and her dog were inseparable! Laura provided daily updates and pictures of our pup enjoying her stay. She followed our requests for special care for her. We will definately use her for future sitting and highly recommend her T.o Weber”
