About: Hi! I would be an amazing pet sitter because I love animals. Ever since I was little I have had pets whether dogs, cats, ducks or turtles. I am currently in college and away from my dog Nalla so taking care of your pet would honestly be special for me too. One of the main reasons I am on rover is because I love to walk and hike and figured why not add a companion. Hi! I am currently on break from work and school so I can make anything work! I am available everyday of the week at any hours necessary! I sadly cannot have any pets in my home because I live in an apartment but I can take that out for walks in areas near me! About: I have been the go-to pet sitter for my large family & friends for years and just decided to see if anyone else would need the service. I have no pets or kids but I am a pet lover in a nice home with a big fenced in yard. I like hanging out with the pets like little buddies, getting some days of cuddles and then sending them home 😅. It’s the perfect way to get some fur baby time until I’m ready for my next dog or cat in the future. About: From family pets, growing up on a farm, pet sitting in college, to multiple years taking care of animal ambassadors as a naturalist, I've been working with and caring for critters of all sorts for nearly as long as I can remember! For critters in the pet category, I have been caring for indoor cats since 2018, from kittens to seniors and every stage in between, including administering medications. My family has had medium/large dogs (rottweilers, labs, and border collie and boxer mixes) my whole life but I have also pet sat for smaller breeds like Boston terriers and cavalier king Charles spaniels. My experience in a dog daycare really helped me read and understand dog body language to head off any issues that may arise when you're watching 12 dogs.

However, as a professor at a local university, I have a very flexible daily schedule and can easily provide pet care during typical business hours. Additionally, I do not work in the summer, which increases my availability from mid-May to September. I am very intentional about the number of clients I take at a time to ensure that I can provide comprehensive care to booked clients. I believe open communication is most important to be able to provide safe and reliable care for your pets. During our meet and greet, I will ask many questions to ensure that I have a full picture of what caring for your pet requires and how to meet your expectations. As someone who uses a Rover sitter to care for my pets when I am away, I personally understand the trust that is needed to leave your pets in someone else's care. I strive to build trust with clients by showing up when I say I do and following all instructions provided to me. And, it is not just about building trust with you but also your pet! If your pet has any behavioral issues or quirks, it's important for me to know this so that I can ensure safety for your pet and myself. About: I have had experience caring for many different kinds of animals throughout my life, such as dogs, horses, guinea pigs, and fish. I am comfortable and confident with walking, feeding, bathing, etc. I am a full-time grad student, and I also work a part-time job. My schedule is a little different each weekday, sometimes with breaks in the middle of the day. I am available all day on the weekends. I do not currently care for any pets in my home.
