Communication was amazing from start to finish, and she was so flexible when our flights changed, which took a huge weight off my shoulders. She even sent pictures without us asking which we absolutely loved and really appreciated. Her kids and mother were incredibly kind and Riley also got along so well with their dog, Annalise. Riley isn’t around other dogs very often, so I was a little nervous, but they did great together and it made me so happy to hear how well she adjusted. “Yolanda and her family did a wonderful job with Gizmo. It was our first time leaving him for a week and with someone through Rover. Yolanda's patience, kindness, and experience brought me relief knowing that my dog was in great hands. She did everything possible to calm my anxiety-ridden fur baby and made him comfortable; kept me updated and was responsive; sent me photos; and was very easy/flexible to work with. By the end of the week, Gizmo was playing with other dogs and taking long walks twice a day, which he never does! He's been home for almost 24 hours and I can tell he misses Yolanda, but mostly, he's been sleeping like a baby. LOL. I couldn't thank Yolanda and her family enough. I finally found someone who was willing to take in my dog and refused to give up on him even when times were hard. I highly recommend her services! About: I have grown up with Golden Retrievers my whole life as my dad hunted with them and trained them for Field trials. We always had three in our home. Once we even had a litter of puppies and there is nothing better than puppy kisses. I personally have had two Black labs, one that was so content to lounge and be a couch potato and my current lab at 8 years old fools everyone into thinking she is 2 or 3 with how active she is. Because of her I understand the importance of walks and her needing lots of exercise, new sights and smells. I have a flexible work schedule and typically only work 3 days a week so I can be there to ensure your pup gets what they need. Happy to play in the yard or walk as needed to make sure your pup is content. Just let me know what their rules are and I'm happy to follow to ensure they are happy and healthy.

About: I have been the go-to pet sitter for my large family & friends for years and just decided to see if anyone else would need the service. Our Daycare includes pack walks, structured rest time, enrichment activities, basic training, and supervised social play. After their Adventure Excursion/Pack Walk, dogs spend the afternoon with us enjoying a calm, relaxing environment where they can rest, settle, and continue practicing appropriate behaviors. This balanced routine helps dogs learn not only how to have fun, but also how to switch off and relax after physical and mental activity. This service includes both pick-up and drop-off if you're located along our Adventure Day route. About: I have had dogs of my own since I was 9 years old. I LOVE dogs--especially small ones! I have trained all of my dogs. I board friends' dogs in my home all the time, and am now excited to move into boarding strangers' dogs here on Rover! I work full-time, a mix of in-office and at home. I work from home on Thursdays and have flexibility on Fridays, so it works best for me to be able to provide boarding on long weekends (Thursday-Sunday). I am happy to provide your pet with seamless care and match what they are used to in your home. I have a large yard and a quiet neighborhood. My home has many rooms and I have some gates so that I can separate pets if needed. I also have a puppy play pen for smaller/younger pups who need their own space.

I care for animals like they are my children because to me they are children just with 4 legs :). I’m very flexible and willing to work around your schedule and needs. Pets will be well taken care of and will make sure when they get back to you that they will be the same or better ! Also if you’re going off island and need them to stay somewhere I will also offer that service because I know how it feels to leave for work or vacation but you have no one to watch your pet. About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life and love them so much that I decided to work at a Dog and Cat daycare and boarding facility. I’ve been working there for 3 years and have worked with all breeds and ages varying from puppies to seniors and love comforting them and making them happy while also making sure their parents know they are in good hands! I’m currently working part-time and my availability is flexible. I’m willing to make adjustments as long as I am notified at least 2-3 weeks in advance. Depending on the typical routine of the pet, I will follow it as close as possible to make them feel as comfortable as I can. I will keep them busy by going on walks or by playing with them, or if they have lower energy I’ll just make sure to give them extra attention.

But Chelsea made sure they did their business in a caring way...she even carried my older dog for a portion of the way because one of her paws was hurting, likely from the salt/ice-melt. About: Hello and welcome! We take care of/have taken care of all different kinds of pets. We have our own two dogs, as well as six cats. We have experience with multiple different breeds and types of animals, as well as being able to handle many at a time. (We have had up to 9 dogs in my care at one time!) I know how hard it is to leave your pet behind, which is why I will update you with pictures as much as you would like. I have a finished basement if your loved one would prefer to be separated, and also have many open rooms for them to choose from for slumber. The cats have a gated off cat room, only accessible to humans and kitties. The crew and I can't wait to meet you! (Or if you prefer the whole crew won't meet you :)). Dani is currently home full time. At this time Dani is home for almost the entire day, with occasional errands. You can request our schedule for any amount of time to confirm your loved one will be cared for properly and on time. We deep clean all items used after a pet stays, so that they are ready for the next pet to stay. We have extra blankets, beds, crates, bowls, and more. We keep our fishtanks neat and clean, as well as my home. My dogs are extremely friendly even with cats. My backyard is fenced in with access through a back door. When it's nice out we play outside with the dogs where they have access to a kiddie pool to play in the water. I have started to add more outdoor play equipment/toys.
About: I started off taking care of small animals, but then became trained as a kennel attendant and enrichment specialist in my growing career in animal care. I wanted to offer more to my local community with the current skills I have, along with learn and grow with every pet and parent! I’m aware of how dogs communicate with each other with body language and have been trained to break apart a fight, even before a fight could start.
About: I’ve taking care of pets since I was 13. I currently have a blind senior german shepherd, and guide him when needed, giving him lots of treats and love. I also have a 1 year puppy and give her frequent time out. I’m planning on working weekends whenever needed to play with doggies and give them the care they need! I can feed them, give medicine, and care for blind and senior dogs. I put my dogs before anything and make sure they have everything they need. Treats, water, food, play time, medicine, supplements, nap time and love.

“Yolanda and her family did a wonderful job with Gizmo. It was our first time leaving him for a week and with someone through Rover. Yolanda's patience, kindness, and experience brought me relief knowing that my dog was in great hands. She did everything possible to calm my anxiety-ridden fur baby and made him comfortable; kept me updated and was responsive; sent me photos; and was very easy/flexible to work with. By the end of the week, Gizmo was playing with other dogs and taking long walks twice a day, which he never does! He's been home for almost 24 hours and I can tell he misses Yolanda, but mostly, he's been sleeping like a baby. LOL. I couldn't thank Yolanda and her family enough. I finally found someone who was willing to take in my dog and refused to give up on him even when times were hard. I highly recommend her services! “Jennifer boarded our golden doodle, Scout, for a full week while our family was on spring break and did a fabulous job! We were all a bit nervous and sad to leave our pup, but we could easily see that Jennifer was very caring, tuned into our dogs routines and needs and all around easy to work with. It was easy to set up a "meet and greet" with Jennifer, and we really liked that she only takes one dog at a time (since our pup is pretty chill and prefers humans to being around lots of other dogs). Best of all, she was very communicative from the beginning, Aside from the "meet & greet" and the smooth booking, when we were gone she communicated daily with a picture and an update on how Scout was doing. Our whole family looked forward to those updates and it really did help us feel good to see our dog doing well in our absence. We will definitely be using Jennifer again!”
