We left our sweet Piper with Krystal for a week and Piper seemed to adjust well and was in good spirits when we picked her up. I was amazed by how unfazed she was by the cold, wet weather that hung over the Fox Valley the week we were away; seemingly taking the additional 4 muddy paws in stride! In about 30 minutes from first seeing it, to signing up, I had already booked Melissa to watch our dog Kaiser. I arranged to bring him over, and she couldn't have been any more sweet. When we got him back, he was well rested, and had none of the anxiety boarding can bring on. About: I understand that cats are very unique, each with their own personality and set of preferences. Having had and cared for multiple different cat breeds (Siberian, Norwegian Forest, Domestic Shorthair, etc.), I understand the level of patience required when introducing oneself to a new cat. I promise to take as much time as needed for a cat to adjust to my presence, and am happy to provide as much attention or space as they need. During visits, I can take care of feedings (both wet and dry food as needed), fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, enrichment, or cuddles (if they prefer them). About: I have had several dogs since I was a child, but my favorites were our German Shepherd, Princess, and our Aussiedoodle, Winston. In high school, I had a part time job working at a doggy daycare and would often take care of my grandparents dogs whenever they were traveling. I have a son at home who is 16 and he too is an animal lover! We’ve discussed getting another pet, but right now, we’re just not ready to make that lifetime commitment. So instead we decided this would be a fun way to get in some doggy playtime, help others, and make a little money to put toward my son’s college fund. I work from home Thursdays and Fridays, with a very flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to play with your furry family members and take them for walks/runs. We currently do not have a fully fenced backyard, but we do have plenty of backyard space to play in. Depending on the time of day, my son will be home to give him or her some extra cuddles! **I do require that you bring your dog's food when boarding, as introducing a new diet can potentially lead to gastrointestinal upset.**

About: I have experience with most breed, training, special needs, and all ages. I have a dog currently and this year i have fostered over 15 dogs. I work monday through Friday during the day with the ability to check in throughout the day or even bring to work with me if i need to I treat all animals as if they were mine. I dont limit where they would go in my house. I have a ranch style home with a very large fenced in yard. If i go to a home i will follow the guildlines provided and spend time with the animal to become comfortable. I also am able to bring animals with me to work. My dad was a firefighter, and came home with Pepper Christmas morning. My sister had a mini goldendoodle. I would stop daily after work around 3:45pm to play and take walks. I took a separation package from my employer 5/1/25 and now would like to offer walks, daycare, drop in visits and boarding . During your boarding, Larger dog's WILL be crated at night. Your dog will be crated when I play pickleball in the mornings. I do have a crate(s). Please note if sending a request there may be a delay in responding due to pickleball between 9:30 - 12:30 approximate times. I currently have two dog walking appointments from 11:30 - 2:00pm Monday-Thursday. Your pet will be crated during this time. I have the time to provide loving care, playtime and walks with your pet. About: I’m the type of person who goes to a party and makes friends with the dog. My friends know I’m around when they see a blanket covering up their sleeping pup. My family has nicknamed me dog girl because I take on the challenge of caring for all of them during family functions. I'd be more than happy to jump through hoops to give your baby(s) what they need when and how they need it. I will put your animal above everything else, that's what I'm paid for and that's what I love doing.
About: Hi there, my name is Becky. I do not have dog sitting experience but I love dogs. I just recently lost our beloved golden Emma 2 months ago. She was 12 years old. I am using Rover to help heal and help with other dog lovers out there and care for their loved ones! I work Monday-Thursday. I can help on Thursday afternoons after 1pm and Friday-Sundays most weekends. My husband works every other weekend so my availability the weekends he works is pretty open! I love to walk and run. Not saying I need to run with your doggo unless he or she loves to do so! I know summer can be difficult with the heat and winter can be brutally cold. I will take every precaution to keep your dog safe.
About: My family and I had a dog of our own for about 13 years during my childhood, allowing me to gain experience in feeding, training, and walking dogs. Now that she has sadly passed away, I would love to give other pets the same love I am no longer able to give to my own pet. I currently work part-time and have plenty of time to smother your pets with my love! Late mornings and early afternoons are the times that typically work best for me, but I am flexible and willing to try anything! I will only allow pets that are fine being outside because my house does not allow pets indoors. I have a large yard surrounded by fields in a rural area where pets are free to roam in sight as long as they’re well-trained.
About: I’ve had and taken care of many different breeds in my lifetime, mostly medium to smaller mixed breeds and I’ve also taken care of doodles I currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats that I spend my days with. About: I have grown up with pets, dogs specifically my entire life! I love dogs of all ages, all shapes and sizes! Having an animal companion to spend time with is some of the best company you can ever have! In my family I have helped raise/train puppies, we have also fostered in my household, and I have taken care of animals for friends and family. I am a very active person, I teach phy ed, so I love getting out for walks or runs. I am a teacher, so during the summer my hours are pretty flexible. I do have to teach summer school in the mornings for a short period of time, but then I am available for mid morning or lunch time pet breaks! Making sure all animals are safe and well taken care of is very important to me. Following instructions on how a dog best responds is very critical. Dogs are animals of habit when trained, so I want to continue to follow routines and expectations that their owner has. In my full time job I am trusted with children and I understand that for many people, pets are loved just as much as a child.
About: I have had several dogs since I was a child, but my favorites were our German Shepherd, Princess, and our Aussiedoodle, Winston. In high school, I had a part time job working at a doggy daycare and would often take care of my grandparents dogs whenever they were traveling. I have a son at home who is 16 and he too is an animal lover! We’ve discussed getting another pet, but right now, we’re just not ready to make that lifetime commitment. So instead we decided this would be a fun way to get in some doggy playtime, help others, and make a little money to put toward my son’s college fund. We currently do not have a fully fenced backyard, but we do have plenty of backyard space to play in. Depending on the time of day, my son will be home to give him or her some extra cuddles! **I do require that you bring your dog's food when boarding, as introducing a new diet can potentially lead to gastrointestinal upset.**

“What can I say? Melissa was amazing. Needed a sitter for our Weimaraner at the last minute. Needed to leave town for family reasons. Called the usual suspects. They gave me the dog and pony show. No pun. Ridiculous what you got to go through to board your dog these days. A few of my friends and customers recommended Rover. I went on there and checked it out. In about 30 minutes from first seeing it, to signing up, I had already booked Melissa to watch our dog Kaiser. I arranged to bring him over, and she couldn't have been any more sweet. I can really tell that she loves animals. Very cool chick too. Our dog was in good hands the couple days he was there. When we got him back, he was well rested, and had none of the anxiety boarding can bring on.
