“What can I say? Melissa was amazing. Needed a sitter for our Weimaraner at the last minute. Needed to leave town for family reasons. Called the usual suspects. They gave me the dog and pony show. No pun. Ridiculous what you got to go through to board your dog these days. A few of my friends and customers recommended Rover. I went on there and checked it out. In about 30 minutes from first seeing it, to signing up, I had already booked Melissa to watch our dog Kaiser. I arranged to bring him over, and she couldn't have been any more sweet. I can really tell that she loves animals. Very cool chick too. Our dog was in good hands the couple days he was there. When we got him back, he was well rested, and had none of the anxiety boarding can bring on. “For a recent week - long vacation, we left our 3 year old golden doodle with Jeff. This was our first time using Rover and leaving her in someone else's home. After an initial meet and greet, we felt very comfortable with Jeff and Ember loved his fenced in yard. We liked the photo and written updates we received while vacationing. Jeff provided daily walks and outside time. He respected Ember's schedule and tried to maintain her schedule. In addition to our toys and treats, he also provided some. About: Since I was a little girl I have cared for cats and dogs. Currently, our fur babies consist of an 8 year old rescue chihuahua mix, Nala, who is my princess. A 3 year old cocker spaniel, Soda, who is my 7 year olds best friend. And finally our lovable orange tabby, Big Buddy, named by 3 year old. My father also relies on me to help with his German shepherd to let her out, play fetch, or pick her up from doggie day care. I currently work part time. Mondays and Tuesdays I work long hours but I am available the rest of the week to assist with your fur family needs. Our home offers a large back yard pushed up to a farm field. About: My family and I had a dog of our own for about 13 years during my childhood, allowing me to gain experience in feeding, training, and walking dogs. Now that she has sadly passed away, I would love to give other pets the same love I am no longer able to give to my own pet. I currently work part-time and have plenty of time to smother your pets with my love! Late mornings and early afternoons are the times that typically work best for me, but I am flexible and willing to try anything! I will only allow pets that are fine being outside because my house does not allow pets indoors. About: I had a dog who passed away at the age of 14 which was my best friend. I dog sit animals of family friends every so often when they go on vacations. Pet care fits in very well with my schedule. I’m looking for newer opportunities and try different things out to see what I enjoy doing. In my home we have an open yard in the country where my dogs are free to roam and do as they please. I’m willing to do what is needed to help your pets. I work a full time job during the week working 8 to 4. I do have days off almost every week. My weekends are almost completely free so they can be booked any time of the day on any weekend! I would stop daily after work around 3:45pm to play and take walks. I took a separation package from my employer 5/1/25 and now would like to offer walks, daycare, drop in visits and boarding . With boarding, For larger dogs, they WILL be crated at night. Your dog will be crated when I play pickleball in the mornings. I do have a crate(s). No pun. Ridiculous what you got to go through to board your dog these days. A few of my friends and customers recommended Rover. I went on there and checked it out. In about 30 minutes from first seeing it, to signing up, I had already booked Melissa to watch our dog Kaiser. I arranged to bring him over, and she couldn't have been any more sweet. I can really tell that she loves animals. Very cool chick too. Our dog was in good hands the couple days he was there. When we got him back, he was well rested, and had none of the anxiety boarding can bring on. It's great to know I have someone that I can rely on if we leave town for any reason to watch after our pooch. I couldn't recommend her anymore. Thank you!”
“For a recent week - long vacation, we left our 3 year old golden doodle with Jeff. This was our first time using Rover and leaving her in someone else's home. After an initial meet and greet, we felt very comfortable with Jeff and Ember loved his fenced in yard. We liked the photo and written updates we received while vacationing. Jeff provided daily walks and outside time. He respected Ember's schedule and tried to maintain her schedule. In addition to our toys and treats, he also provided some. We will definitely use Jeff's boarding for future get aways.”

We loved that and it made us trust her from the start. When we met her, Kimberly asked us many questions about our dog that made us feel like she would take very good care of her. Also, Kimberly’s home is quite literally the perfect set up for dogs. We know that our dog loved staying there and we enjoyed the updates Kimberly sent us throughout her stay. “I would definitely recommend Todd as a sitter! He took my dog for walks and she enjoyed playing in their fenced yard. My dog had an operation recently and was still on antibiotics every 12 hours. Todd made sure she got her medicine on time and texted me after each dose to let me know she got it. He also sent pictures and kept me updated with how she was settling in. Very happy with her stay with Todd and his family.”
