About: Taking walks around my pond, lots of cuddles, and play will be enjoyed at my home. Open to working with your feeding schedule preferences for your pet. Weekends, I will be home more to play and cuddle. I work outside of home during the week, but in the evenings I will have lots of time to play and have fun. About: Hi there, I’m Sarah! Thank you for stopping by my profile! I’m a proud U.S. Navy veteran who separated from the military in 2017. Growing up in a military family, I had the opportunity to live in 25 different states and 6 countries, which gave me a deep appreciation for people, cultures, and the incredible diversity of animals around the world. Those experiences helped shape my adaptable, compassionate personality and my love for caring for both people and animals. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve cared for everything from dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, chickens, and goats to helping family members care for horses, cows, and other farm animals. Whether your pet has paws, feathers, or scales, I’m comfortable providing patient, attentive care tailored to their individual personality and needs. I currently have an older service dog named Basil and a senior cat named Dhara, so I understand firsthand how important it is to provide gentle care, consistency, and a calm environment—especially for older pets. If your pet stays with me, they’ll be welcomed into a peaceful home where they’ll receive plenty of love, attention, and supervision. One of the experiences I’m most proud of was spending two years training my service dog, Basil, through the ARF Pets for Vets program in Walnut Creek, California. That experience taught me a tremendous amount about canine behavior, positive reinforcement, communication, and building trust. It also strengthened my belief that every animal communicates in their own unique way, and I take the time to understand their body language so they feel safe, respected, and comfortable. Outside of pet care, I’m a freelance product designer and entrepreneur who enjoys creating new products, designing 3D models, and bringing ideas to life. I also love cooking, baking, traveling, exploring new places, and discovering local restaurants—I’m even an Elite Yelp reviewer, so you could say I enjoy finding the best hidden gems wherever I go! When caring for your pet, my goal is to make them feel like they’re part of the family. I know how difficult it can be to leave a beloved pet behind, so I strive to provide the same level of care, patience, and affection that I’d want for my own animals. What you can expect from me: • Personalized care based on your pet’s individual personality, routine, and needs. • Experience caring for a wide variety of companion and farm animals. • Daily photo, video, and text updates so you always know how your pet is doing. • A meet-and-greet before booking to make sure we’re a great fit. • Basic training guidance and positive reinforcement tips when appropriate. • A clean, calm, safe, and loving environment where your pet’s health, comfort, and happiness always come first. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and I truly appreciate that trust. I look forward to meeting you and your furry (or feathered or scaly!) family members and providing them with the same love and care I’d give my own. I work full-time Monday through Friday with every other Friday off. From 6 AM to 3 PM, but I can accommodate meet and greets throughout the week, including drop in visits on my lunch break. If I’m staying at a client’s home, I can easily plan my schedule around your pet’s needs, ensuring they receive consistent care and attention. I’m most available for extended services Friday through Sunday, so we can coordinate a schedule that works best to keep your furry, feathered, or scaly friend happy and comfortable. I prioritize safety, trust, and a comfortable environment for every pet in my care. In my home or a client’s home, I ensure the space is pet-proofed and free of hazards. I follow each pet’s routine to make them feel at ease, respecting their space and preferences. For new pets, I take the time to build trust through positive interactions and gentle introductions. If I’m caring for pets in my home, I create a calm, safe space with designated areas for eating, sleeping, and play. I supervise all interactions, especially with other animals, to ensure everyone's safety. I also maintain cleanliness, making sure litter boxes are scooped daily (or more frequently depending on the pet), food and water bowls are clean, and any medication needs are carefully followed. When staying in a client’s home, I respect their environment by keeping their pet’s routine consistent, and I ensure they have a safe, familiar space. I communicate regularly with pet owners to update them on their pet’s well-being and to address any concerns. My goal is to provide the same level of care, attention, and comfort in your home as I would in mine.

“10/10 will always book her when she is available! So grateful she was able to help us out! My kitties looked so happy which is the best thing you can hope for when you're out of town!”

“Debora was here today for her first drop-in visit. She was prompt and sent a couple pics as requested. She also left a note for me on how the visit went. My pup and her hit it off great at the meet and greet.”

“Summer took the time to stop by and meet us and our cats before we left for our trip. We enjoyed the daily updates and photos. She even got our shy cat to open up to her. We would gladly use her services again.”

About: While I am relatively new to formal pet sitting, I absolutely love cats and respect their unique personalities. I understand that some kitties love to play and snuggle, while others just want their own space.I am highly reliable and will strictly follow all your instructions for feeding, refreshing their water, and keeping the litter box perfectly clean. I have a very flexible schedule, meaning I will never rush through a visit. I promise to give your cat plenty of dedicated attention, quiet companionship, and send you cute photo updates so you know they are safe and happy!
“Annette always left a photo and a comment at each drop in visit. The cat room was clean when I returned home. I know she had to travel on some snowy roads to do the visit. I appreciate her help and will ask for her help in the future.”

“Kara is fantastic!! Right from the beginning with the meet and greet I knew I picked the right pet sitter. I was away for 6 days and Kara did a daily drop in service for my cat, Rue. My cat needs meds for skin allergies and she was able to stay on her prescribed dosage the entire time. Kara provided great care to Rue. Stress and being off of the meds can create flare ups of sores. Rue was happy and healthy when I returned home. Kara sent pictures every day and I could see that Rue had bonded with Kara immediately! I was able to share the daily pictures with my family as we traveled and it was a treat to look forward to seeing how Rue was doing. The human contact and playtime that Kara provided kept Rue’s stress level down and the meds she was able to administer kept Rue healthy. What a relief it was to me knowing Rue had such a great caregiver. I will definitely be using Kara again for future trips away from home.”

I’m open pretty much all day every day as of right now until my new school schedule comes out then after that, it’s probably just Friday Saturday and Sundays. when I come to your home, I’m gonna be as respectful as possible as well as patient and careful. If you have a crate, I would love for you to bring it for the dog. This way, if I am sitting with multiple pets while I'm gone, they are safe. Also, I will always have a leash in my complex.
“Shawn & Joey took amazing care of our dog. They took her to the dog park which she absolutely loved and sent us pictures and updates throughout her stay with them. We would definitely recommend Shawn & Joey if you need a dog sitter!”

“Morgan was amazing! She was very flexible with our timing needs, and so excited to care for Panzer. I appreciated the picture she sent about 2 hours into the day. I relaxed, knowing our dog was fitting in, and not stressed about missing us. Actually, I’m sure he was kept so busy he didn’t have a chance to miss us. Highly recommend Morgan!”

“Brandi did a wonderful job caring for our pup Maggie for our weekend away. This was the first time being away from our fur baby and she made it easy for all of us to know Maggie was having a super fun time! Thanks Brandi!”

“Gabby was wonderful! Dash had such a great time! She sent lots of pictures and videos of him enjoying his time with other dogs. I will definitely bring Dash to stay with her again. ?”

“Cathy was fantastic at communicating and sending pictures while she was boarding my dog. As a first time boarder it was wonderful to know that he was well taken care of and had all the love that I give him at home. Will definitely be boarding here again!”

“Nick and Dorothy cared for my fur baby like it was their own offering daily walks, playtime, and lots and lots of love. Great fenced back yard. Lots of updates and pics. Would highly recommend”

“I had an amazing first experience using the Rover app with Melissa! Chopper seemed comfortable, happy, and well taken care of the entire time. Melissa communicated incredibly well and sent lots of updates and pictures, which gave me a peace of mind. She was also very sweet, flexible with her availability, and active with Chopper. Melissa took Chopper on several long walks, and it was clear he had a great time with her. I would definitely recommend Melissa to anyone looking for a caring, active, and reliable sitter. I look forward to booking with her again for Chopper in the future!”

“Autumn was absolutely amazing! She took Hank on short notice and was able to accommodate him perfectly. She went above and beyond. She took Hank out with her often and let him hangout with her dog! I highly recommend her!”
About: I've grown up with pets my whole life - dogs, cats, cows, horses, hamsters, mice, you name it I probably had it at one point. I have a dog of my own as well. I like to say I've had animal experience my whole life, but formally I have had over 8 years of experience in the animal care industry. I have spent time in veterinary clinics, grooming, boarding, doggy daycare, dog training, permanent sanctuaries, rehabilitation facilities, and farms. I have also fostered multiple dogs from a local rescue. I recently earned a degree in animal science and have plans to attend veterinary school. I really really love animals and everything about them, and I would love to spend some time with your pet when you're not able to! I take my dog for two walks a day, a shorter 10-15 minute walk in the morning, and longer 30-45 minute walk after work in the afternoon. On days I am not working, I go on multiple short walks a day. There are paths I walk for both off-leash and on-leash walking. Typical available days are T-F. Weekends vary. Outdoor activities (walks, meeting friends dogs, swimming, fetch, etc.) are my primary methods of exercise and activity with my pet, and would be with clients pets as well. On days it's not so nice I like to work on training inside or find new enrichment activities to keep my pet occupied. I take pride in keeping a pet environment clean, so I regularly bathe and brush my dog, as well as clean food bowls. I will care for my clients pets as I would care for my own.
