About: I’ve had cats since a very young age and have cared for elderly cats multiple times throughout my life so far, and even kittens. i worked at a cat specific vet in the past so i am experienced in administering some medications and trimming nails and minor grooming, i have my own little guy Henry at home who is my whole world and i know how finicky he can be so i would treat any other cat the same way i would treat my baby boy, like i said right now my schedule is very open so i can stop in as many times as needed a day to feed the cats, make sure they are all okay, whatever is needed

About: Hello! My family and I love animals. We've been on Rover since January 2024! We currently have 2 indor cats and have backyard chickens (in coop) that are pets and lay eggs for us. We live in a quiet Hartland neighborhood in a cul-de-sac that is very low traffic. Part of our yard is fenced for play and potty breaks, and I love taking walks around our neighborhood. The majority of the week, my husband is working from home or I am home. The longest your pet may be left is 6 hours if staying with us during the work week. So usually someone is there to spend time with your pet! We are available any day of the week for boarding. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac. I always practice sit-stay when opening the door to prevent bolting out. Part of our yard is fenced and outside the fence your pet will always be leashed. If I am away for a short period and it's needed for safety or per your preference, we do have a large crate and an enclosed pet gate.

About: I have always had a dog growing up, so I learned from a very young age how to care for a pet. Friends and family have trusted me to take care of their dogs since I was around 12 years old. This includes stopping in the house to take them to the bathroom and feeding them, as well as giving medication if needed. Lots of snuggles and playtime too of course! I have taken care of dogs in the client's home for up to a week and cared for them at my home as well. No need to worry about any complex feeding schedules. I can manage it all. I am very comfortable with any age, breed, and sized dog! I have a one-year-old pup, so I am very familiar with training and puppy classes. I have volunteered at the humane society and when I was in high school, I job shadowed at a veterinary clinic. I currently work as a substitute teacher so my schedule is extremely flexible! During the summer months I am completely open. Weekdays and weekends any time of day. I make my own schedule so there will be no conflicts. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space for some off leash playtime! My dog loves to run around playing fetch with a ball or stick. I have a walking path across the street from my home and am walking distance to nature hill for some extra exercise. I always have water, waste bags and small treats with me when going on walks. (My dogs personal favorites are cheerios). I am comfortable walking with any leash, collar or harness. I have two kennels in my living room if your dog needs to be crated. At least one crate is big enough to fit a large or XL dog. I have a baby gate in front of my stairs, and the basement door is always shut. I personally love going to the pet store or drive thru to get my pet a pup cup! I would be more than happy to take your dog for an adventure and for some extra love and enrichment!

About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life and I've had my first (adult life) dog for three and a half year. Wila Rose is an Australian Cattle Dog mix. About a year and a half ago we added another rescue, Buckley Quinn. He is a smart but goofy boy. They both go backpacking with us and we do a lot of hiking on our local public land areas. We enjoy playing around in our yard with our limited dog agility set and learning new tricks. We occasionally go swimming but love jumping and exploring new water areas and hiking trails. Wila and Buckley are a huge part of my life. We enjoy hiking, being outdoor, and traveling as much as possible. We do quite a but of training included but not limited to: agility, scent training, shed training, and just some fun party tricks. “This was our first time using Rover and we didn't know quite what to expect. We set up a meet and greet to make sure it would be a good fit. As soon as my dog got out of the car, I could tell she was going to like it there. Alex was very communicative during the whole stay and sent daily pictures of how my dog was doing. Heather is very organized & prepared to deal with hosting a dog's individual behavior and adapting to their routine for the best results. Heather - having her own dog and another daycare dog to keep company & play with Zoe - was a perfect situation. She was very flexible with my drop-off & pick-up schedule which made all my travel arrangements "a breeze" with no worries. I couldn't be more pleased & recommend Heather without any hesitation. “David was/is amazing! Why? He was responsive and accommodating. His extensive knowledge of dogs was clear when we met him - we knew our pups were in good hands. We received daily updates and in each photo the dogs looked like they were having the time of their lives and/or taking a nap on David’s lap 😂. We live downtown Madison and I could tell our pups enjoyed the beautiful country property as they came back tired and content! As a former Rover, I would highly recommend David to anyone looking for a sitter. 10/10!!”
