About: I’ve worked with dogs and cats in many different ways. I have owned dogs my entire life, plus a few cats. I volunteer at the Humane Society in Kansas City while at school where I work directly with the shelter dogs. I have house sat for multiple family friends and am ready to take on new pups and cats! About: I have never not had a dog…or multiple!😊 I’ve grown up with Labrador Retrievers. With that being said, I can handle the chewing, the energy, the hours of stimulation, and the endless snuggles! I have raised multiple puppies into adulthood, with two currently being my own! From potty training to tricks, to walking on a leash, I have done it all! I also have had family dogs that’s we have had until 12-14 years old that have required special needs due to age. I am a nurse who once wanted to become a vet so I am super flexible from an experience standpoint!😊 I am a night shift nurse who works just a couple days a week! With that being said, my schedule is flexible and I’m almost always home! We are extremely active people who go on multiple walks a day, and I typically run a couple miles a week as well! Weather permitting, we are outside 95% of the time. My dogs are always enjoying the sun on our large deck that overlooks our woods, outside running in the woods, or playing fetch in the yard. We have 2 young and friendly labradors who love to play and meet new friends! We own 2 acres, half of it being woods with trails! This would be for the guests who have a great recall or have halo collars😊 For the ones who struggle a little more with recall, we have a 3 car garage with a doggy door to go in and out of a fenced in area (in pictures)! Also a large deck to catch some rays on, as well as plenty and plenty of walks! I can pick up/drop off from your house (20 mile radius), take them for walks, bring to vet appointments and/or Grooming appts within a 10 mile radius. My current schedule allows Monday-Friday.
