I am the type to keep my dogs active whether it be playing fetch in the yard or throwing the stick in the lake for them to fetch. I believe in lots of play toys and chewys so they never get bored. I also understand the dog who might be more calm, maybe a little shy and likes time alone, and that is very understandable. I am a retired nurse and know pretty well the signs and symptoms of pain or discomfort. I understand the importance of proper nutrition and availability of fresh water. I lost my 14 yr. old lab to old age 2 years ago, and just recently got a new yellow lab puppy here in March. I really missed having a travel companion! I'm a unique pet/house sitter in that I travel in my beautiful Canadian Roadtrek Campervan and can house "watch" while taking care of your pets. I do not need to stay in your home. Any additional duties other than "watch" your house can be negotiated- like water a few houseplants, etc. I do ask that you provide a household electric (120V) outside plug in. My small RV uses approx. $2-$3 per day of electricity. I love animals. I have a 3 yr. old yellow Labrador myself! I travel often in my RV and we make great travel partners often stopping at dog parks 2-3 times a day on our adventures. Beau would love to have playmates! Currently I am mobile in the Western AZ / Southeastern CA area. I will come to you. I can stay as long as you need for your pet care - up to 2+ weeks if needed. I can only provide mobile pet/house sitting. I am unable to pet sit in the home I live in. I am a recently retired nurse. I am trained not only in human CPR, but I also have dog and cat CPR training. About: Hi, I’m Autumn! While I’m new to Rover, I am not new to dogs! Animals have been a huge part of my entire life! At 16, I started working as a kennel assistant at a veterinary clinic. I went on to receive my degree in veterinary technology and dedicated almost 10 years as a tech. Now, I’d love to continue caring for pets beyond the clinic! My husband and I own a 1/2 acre of acre of land in Forest Lake. We have one dog, a senior Shih Tzu named Nala! For the safety of all dogs, I do require they are comfortable being kenneled during times I am away or sleeping. Otherwise, they are free to follow me around the house or even nap on the couch! Caring for animals is my top priority, so I have the flexibility to be home with all pets for the majority of the day, every day! In our home, pets are family! We offer a large lawn to allow your pets plenty of room to exercise. Plenty of snuggles and playtime will be offered along with daily walks as requested/weather permitting. About: The two loves of my life were my dog, Abby, and my dog Bronx. Abby was a Siberian husky and Bronx a 15” lemon beagle. Bronx was part of my life for 20 years and just recently passed. I honestly can’t imagine a life without animals in it, and one day I wanna be able to reflect back on my life, knowing that I did as much as I could to help as many animals as possible, which is why becoming a part of ROVER is so appealing. I have an incredibly flexible work schedule that will enable me to schedule my work hours around my hours caring for animals. I truly believe that animals are every bit as important as we are, and I think pet owners will be able to rest easy, leaving their pets in my care, knowing that their health and safety will be of the utmost importance to me! I have a two-story condo that they would be able to spend most of their time in with me. I also have a heated garage that I’ve converted into a safe and comfortable area for animals to play in. In addition to that, I live in Woodbury, literally surrounded by parks, full of walking paths that will be ideal for a dogs exercise. One thing I would like pet owners to know is that I’m not doing this for the money, I’m doing this because I’m newly single and alone and can’t think of anybody better to spend my time with than animals in need. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats all my life. I was raised in Mississippi on a farm and we always had dogs and cats running around. I have two cat children, Gertie and Quill, but I also love dogs and have experience with older/difficult dogs. I especially love walking, so to have a little companion would be wonderful. Excited to meet them! I am available most week days after 3pm and all day Sat and Sun. I have meetings during the week that vary but I rarely have a packed schedule; perfect for potty breaks, drop ins, and walks. Pets need you to meet them where they’re at, so I always approach them that way. Ideally, that’s with lots of love and cuddles, but I’m happy to also just sit in the company of a sassy cat or a skittish dog. If you have rules, I’ll follow them, and if you have no rules, I’ll act like you do anyways. 😉

About: Dogs have always held such a special place in my heart. I had my own dog for 9 wonderful years before sadly losing her, and I’ve also spent years caring for my brother’s dogs. I’m especially comfortable with larger breeds and have lots of experience with American Akitas, so big dogs don’t scare me! I love getting to know each dog’s personality, whether they’re energetic, goofy, shy, or the ultimate cuddle bug. I’ll make sure your pup gets plenty of love, attention, playtime, and belly rubs while you’re away. I work Monday–Friday until 3 PM, but I’m available afterward and have open weekends. I’m happy to plan around your pet’s routine and my upcoming fall classes. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I want both the pet and their home to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’ll follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and plenty of attention. I’ll always respect their space and belongings, keep doors and gates securely closed, and make sure pets are supervised and safe. I’ll also keep the home clean and tidy and communicate with the owner so they feel comfortable and updated while they’re away.
