“Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. “Sammy is the only person I trust with my two dogs! I was worried about finding someone to watch them because my youngest dog isn’t neutered yet. Sammy was great with communication and held a meet and greet with her dog, Coy, and her sister’s dog, Nova. It was clear that she understands dogs and has a ton of knowledge. Not only that, but she’s so sweet! It’s good to know that somebody’s taking care of them as if they’re their own dog. Tank and Teddy are both labrador retrievers and Tank is about 90 pounds while Teddy is 70 and not full grown. I have used her for boarding now probably three times and have at least two more times planned before this year is up. I can go on vacation or take an emergency trip without having to worry about my dogs. With Sammy, I know they are getting the best care possible. She also sends adorable little updates with a ton of photos so I’m never worried about them and I can see that they’re having so much fun. The last time we drop them off, the dogs ran right into her house and didn’t even turn back so it’s safe to say they’re also so happy to be there. We’ve taken to calling their stays with Sammy “Camp Coy” after her dog Coy who is their best friend.”

About: I have had my own pets since college, but grew up with dogs. I’ve had a range of dogs from border collies, to labs, to Great Danes, to Basset hounds. I also have had numerous cats. All of my dogs have lived long, exceptionally spoiled lives, and I follow current dog training suggestions for behavior. I’ve raised a few litters of Danes, and most recently, a litter of Bassets. I have a full time job during the week so am really only available on weekends, but depending on location, exceptions can be made especially if it is for just check-ins. I’m willing to come to your home and follow your pet rules so your pets stay comfortable and safe, and don’t have their routine disrupted.

About: I have been taking care of animals ever since I was little, between dogs, cats, reptiles, and even farm animals such as dairy cows, pigs, goats, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs. I can take care of pets at any time of day or night, and I can walk dogs after 4 pm. Tuesday & Thursday, I do have class from 7-10 am. I have a fence for my pets, we play with toys, and we go on walks (depending on the weather). My dog will sleep where she is most comfortable and she always goes to the bathroom on time.
About: I love dogs! Let me cuddle and love your dog while you’re away! I love to stay active outside and take walks/jogs outdoors. Before committing to a dog myself, I want to experience some of the restrictions that come with having a dog (being home immediately after work/during the day to let the dog out in normal non-Covid times, not staying out too late on the weekends, etc). Hopefully I can use Rover to get my dog fix until I’m able to make the decision to get my own dog. I have severe cat allergies and am allergic to some large dogs, which is why I favor small dogs. About: My pet-sitting experiences include looking after both cats and dogs day to day and for extended periods of time. When taking care of cats, I make sure they have clean water and food at all times; keep their environment clean; watch over them and see if they are healthy; and interact with them by playing with them on a daily basis. I also have experience caring for dogs of various sizes and energy levels. Making sure their fed, walked, groomed, and cleaning up any messes/ their environment. In addition always making sure they have access to clean drinking water and providing plenty of playtime and attention. I occasionally take care of a family friend’s dog who has arthritis. I treat every pet as if they were my own and doing everything I can to ensure their happiness. I am extremely flexible with regards to my schedule, and can be available for the most part of the day. I wake up early, so feeding and taking the animals for walk won't be a problem at all. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I value their safety, trust, and maintaining a calm and familiar environment for their pet. It is important for me to carefully follow all the instructions concerning their feeding schedule, treatment, taking medication, and other specific care. It goes without saying that I make sure that the pets receive proper meals and have clean water to drink. I also try to keep the house as clean as possible, including litter boxes for cats and any messes that may occur. I also observe the pets to ensure everything seems normal and they’re healthy. I believe that building trust with both pets and owners is essential, I’ll always provide them with updates and photographs about the current condition of the pets. My goal is to make sure their pet is cared for and mostly importantly happy.

My baby is a 3 year old mix named Yoshi. Yoshi loves new friends and is always ready to hang out with many toys to share. He's a sweet pup and will make any guest feel welcome. He is always kept up to date with his shot records, flea/tick prevention, and everything that makes a happy healthy pup. In your pet's care bag, I mainly need to have your pet's food, favorite toy, and leash & poop bags. Other things you can include are food/water bowls, brush and any specific treats. Your pet must be clean upon drop off. Unfortunately if not, you must be willing to pay grooming fees or cancel our booking. I know how scary it can be to leave your baby with someone else so whether it be dog walking, dog/cat sitting you have nothing to worry about! Your pet will have an amazing time and eat some great treats (owner permitted of course)! I have dog puzzles and they will get plenty of fresh air! Treats of course are involved(with permission). I walk my dog in our neighborhood. It is very safe and there are lots of other friendly dogs to say hi to. I make sure to have my dog on a leash prior to opening any doors. In Yoshi’s playhouse all dogs are carefully watched and protected.
About: Hi my name is Abby, I have been an animal lover since i was a tiny tot, from the creepy crawlies to large and fluffy I am your girl to take care of all your pet needs. I have 2 friendly pups of my own, Bruno is my older boy living in his golden years and my youngest Rose is a year old, I also own 1 indoor cat, 5 outdoor cats, along with a ball python and a blue tounge skink! I work in a warehouse in Madison but live out in the country south of madison on 10 acres of land. Over the years I have worked at 2 doggy daycare and one pet boarding facility. I am educated on dog body language, administering medications for both cats and dogs, BUT the most important thing of all I will love your pets like they are my own till you can come home! I have crates with a security camera set on them so I can watch the pups at all times. When letting the pups outside I stay and watch them at all times, I also have 2 extra long leashes so your pup can run around and get some energy out but stay safe on the land.

“Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. The personal touches are unmatched to anything we’ve experienced in the past and we will absolutely recommend her every chance we get! Thank you Cilyr!”
“Sammy is the only person I trust with my two dogs! I was worried about finding someone to watch them because my youngest dog isn’t neutered yet. Sammy was great with communication and held a meet and greet with her dog, Coy, and her sister’s dog, Nova. It was clear that she understands dogs and has a ton of knowledge. Not only that, but she’s so sweet! It’s good to know that somebody’s taking care of them as if they’re their own dog. Tank and Teddy are both labrador retrievers and Tank is about 90 pounds while Teddy is 70 and not full grown. I have used her for boarding now probably three times and have at least two more times planned before this year is up. I can go on vacation or take an emergency trip without having to worry about my dogs. With Sammy, I know they are getting the best care possible. She also sends adorable little updates with a ton of photos so I’m never worried about them and I can see that they’re having so much fun. The last time we drop them off, the dogs ran right into her house and didn’t even turn back so it’s safe to say they’re also so happy to be there. We’ve taken to calling their stays with Sammy “Camp Coy” after her dog Coy who is their best friend.”
