I have two Weiner dogs at my mom's house, a labordooddle at my dad's, and two cats of my own.I know and love all kinds of dogs and cats! But I can be strict if you have certain rules you want them to abide by! I have training. Please consider me when thinking about who can care for your furry children. My cats get supervised time outside on harnesses and time in the breezeway with open windows to get some fresh air. I have a large yard (a little over an acre) and a fence along the road. I own a 5 year old male German Shorthaired Pointer as well as two mixed breed dogs weighing about 15 pounds each. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, playing fetch in my yard, going to the dog park, or going to one of the dog-friendly nature trails near my house. I work from home so frequent potty breaks. I have a large yard that has the road fenced off and I’ll get a game of fetch going or let the dogs run around to burn off energy. About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life and I've had my first (adult life) dog for three and a half year. Wila Rose is an Australian Cattle Dog mix. About a year and a half ago we added another rescue, Buckley Quinn. He is a smart but goofy boy. They both go backpacking with us and we do a lot of hiking on our local public land areas. We enjoy playing around in our yard with our limited dog agility set and learning new tricks. We occasionally go swimming but love jumping and exploring new water areas and hiking trails. Wila and Buckley are a huge part of my life. We enjoy hiking, being outdoor, and traveling as much as possible. We do quite a but of training included but not limited to: agility, scent training, shed training, and just some fun party tricks. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, but in my adult life I’ve gotten my own 3 labs. They are so special to me and I treat them like my children. If I had your dog(s) here too they’d get treated the same way. We all love to go on long energizing walks, but if your dog prefers to walk alone I can do that too! I currently work full time remotely 8-4:30, so it is very easy for me to travel with a laptop. I would be fully available to watch your dogs in their space comfortable to them. (As long as you have good internet connection lol) I am fully available on the weekends as well. I have 3 SUPER friendly dogs, they are very big hits at the dog park. I do sleep with them and allow them on the furniture. I can easily crate a dog if needed as I have 3 that I used for my dogs that they do not need anymore. I don’t have a fenced in yard as my dogs have an invisible fence, but they don’t get let out unsupervised and I do have a lead/chain that I can attach to my back deck.

About: As far as experience goes there isn’t a time in my life I remember that I wasn’t caring for an animal. From reptiles, to rodents, to cats and dogs, I’ve had them all. From a young age I was taught responsibility and discipline when it came to caring for tiny creatures. Additionally for over two years I volunteered weekly at a local animal shelter. During this time I gained knowledge as to how animals interacted with one another, how to properly administer medication, warning signs to look out for, what to do in emergencies, and deeply studied animal behavior. To add on to that I am currently employed at a doggie daycare. During my time here not only have I gotten to widen my horizons when it came to taking care of animals but I have learned hands on how to bandage a wound, what to do in animal confrontations as well as how to handle the unexpected such as sickness or seizures. Additionally over the last 3 years I have volunteered at different animal welfare programs across the globe. These include Portugal, Puerto Rico, Tanzania and soon Hawaii. During this time I have not only seen hands on other cultures way of taking care of animals but also gained knowledge as to how to better the animal care I provide to clients. As I previously stated I currently am employed at a doggie daycare. Additionally I work at a bakery as well. My schedule changes weekly so it can be hard to give an exact time frame when booking. Typically I work up to 8 hour shifts. I typically prefer to stay in clients homes to keep their pets safe and happy in their own environment. I will be there in the morning before work, and will immediately come back when I get off as well as being there at night. I try to spend as much time as possible with the pets while you are away I typically only offer staying in the clients home and I am comfortable crating animals while gone. I always keep things like medications safely out of reach and secured. Additionally upon booking I typically ask about any health notes, allergies, or special needs as well as a good contact number for your vet in case of emergency.

I also adopted my two kittens when they were just four months old, and they’re now happy, healthy three-and-a-half-year-olds. I always make sure fresh food and clean water are provided, with bowls cleaned regularly to keep everything sanitary. Whether it’s brushing, playing fetch, going on nice long walks, or just giving them lots of attention and love—your pet’s happiness and care are my top priority! I make sure that my cats home environment is safe for them to roam and not get into too much mischief. Water bowls are cleaned. Food is rotated. Pee pads are changed out and litter is changed once a month while cleaning litter box out daily. I am sure that my cats live in a safe environment and are happy and healthy.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for about 5 years now! I can pet sit from anything with fur to scales! I adore animals and provider the proper care they need! As well as spoil them with treats and pets! About: I have been around dogs my whole life and am now a proud owner for the past 1.5 years! I’m around 1-2 times throughout a typical work day to let my puppy out. She rules this house so no furniture or beds are off limits, which is extended to all the dogs that come into my home (I’ve recently become the extended family dog sitter due to my work schedule). Monday’s-Thursdays I am home 1-2 times during the typical work day for about a half hour each time. Fridays and weekends I’m typically home most of the day, maybe running errands here and there. Allie rules the house here! She is allowed on furniture and beds and this would extend to your baby too. We spend a lot of time outside with water always available and I’m always out with her. We have tons of toys and she doesn’t mind sharing them.
About: Pet Care Experience: Ive had dogs my whole life and will be starting vet tech school in fall. Ive had experiece caring for various sizes, breeds, and ages for almost a year on Rover and over four years on occasion for friends and family members. I have experience not only in walking, feeding, and general care but in bathing, administering medication, and and basic training as well. I have also taken care of several senior dogs some of whom have needed help walking or supporting themselves when going to the bathroom. While I am most experienced in caring for dogs, I have also cared for over a half dozen cats via drop ins and house sittings. This means I am familiar with how to clean and empty litter boxes and I have no qualms about cleaning up any "presents" they may give me. Schedule: Im curently attending school in the spring in fall but my only job is self employed pet sitting through Rover. I have very few other commitments, especially during the summer and on weekends, so I will have plenty of time to play, cuddle, care for, and adore your furbaby or furbabies. Safety and Trust: Since I am not currently employed outside of Rover I will be able to stay with your cat or dog more than 90% of the time during a sitting. Similarily when doing drop ins I almost always can accomodate whatever time the owner would like me to come. My vast experience with dogs and cats has taught me in general what to do and what not to do which allows me to focus on learning the idiosyncrities of your pet during the meet and greet. This experience has also taught me that meet and greets are extremely important so I'm sure to always find a time to complete one with pet owners. Therefore, you will always have the opportunity to meet me, observe how I interact with your pet(s), address any concerns you may have and discuss details in person. During both sittings and drop ins I'm always sure to provide plenty of updates, pictures, and information so you know that your furbaby or furbabies are being well taken care of.
