He fit me into his schedule for a meet n greet (which went really well), I really liked that he had a fenced in backyard. The stay was arranged for 5 days (I ended up coming back a day early and was able to pick him up early). Zachary provided updates early in the stay to let me know how my dog was settling in. Zachary was very responsive to my messages and was quick to reply. If you have a dog with separation anxiety (like mine), it was great that he lives in a house, so there were no wall neighbors (such as apartments) to worry about with any barking. If I find myself traveling for a few days again, I will definitely reach out to see if Zachary is available to watch my dog!”

I have two senior dachshunds adopted from rescues and have rehabilitated them to be sweet socialized canine citizens. I love dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. “I am so happy that I found Kathy. I knew my Benny had not been happy at a large daycare facility because he began putting on the brakes to go in the door. After a meet and great Benny couldn't wait to go in Kathy's house and when I came to pick him up he acted like he wanted to stay. Kathy updated me throught the day with pictures and even a short video. Benny loved playing with Kathy's little dog and she had his favorite kind of bone to chew on. It's obvious that Kathy loves dogs and gives them plenty of love, attention and lap time snuggles.”
About: I owned a dog growing up and cared for and trained one with my family. I sit for friends and family from time to time and I love to play and take dogs for walks and, if they are able, runs of up to a few miles! I have a fenced in yard, and my kids (4, 8) are also great with animals. I work from home. With the exception of rare travel days, school drop-offs, and evening events, I will always be around the house to care for your pup. Your pet will get the attention it needs, as I work from home and I have a fenced in yard, as well as young boys that are great with animals. Frequent outside visits and play times are very doable.

About: For over forty years we’ve always had dogs in our home. We have a sweet pitbull mix that we adopted last year. She came from a home with several dogs so she loves to meet and make new friends. We enjoy providing a good home to animals and we look forward to caring for your pets. Potty breaks can be provided every two hours. Your dog will have plenty of opportunities throughout the day to run, play fetch, or explore in our fenced backyard. We try to follow the same routine as you would for your pet at home. We only care for two dogs at a time as we have a dog of our own. The dogs have free run of the house if the owner doesn’t specify otherwise.

If I accept to watch a pet, they will not be alone for more than a couple hours at a time. Multiple daily walks and time spent with them. I currently have no pets in the home. Feeding and activity schedules are completely based on your requirements and pets needs. They have access to the whole home and all the attention they need.

Zachary was very responsive to my messages and was quick to reply. If you have a dog with separation anxiety (like mine), it was great that he lives in a house, so there were no wall neighbors (such as apartments) to worry about with any barking. If I find myself traveling for a few days again, I will definitely reach out to see if Zachary is available to watch my dog!”
About: I have many years of experience caring for and training my own pets and fostering a few along the way. I am an avid rescuer and love taking care of animals from all walks of life. High energy, elderly, barkers, wigglers even the stinky are welcome. I take pride in providing care for your pet. Cheers! I work full time but can stop by and walk before or after work. Morning and nights are available, hoping to go full time soon. We currently are pet free after a difficult and sudden passing but we have a woodsy backyard and a grassy front yard that a pooch can get some good exercise in. Two teenage boys to help with playtime and wife that loves to take dogs for jogs.

“Dawn and her family provided a comforting setting for our dog Astro. He was the only client they had for the stay which to us is just what he likes. He’s not much a social one, but tolerates well with other dogs if he has to! They paid Astro lots of attention when he needed it. Kept us up to date on anything that was important to tell us and sent pictures to show us he’s doing well! He’s pretty easy to take care of and not a trouble maker for anybody and he knew he was in good hands! Also, we liked that Dawn has a fenced in backyard! Big plus! Thanks again! Mike and Liz”
