My older cat is a diabetic with severe skin issues requiring multiple medications on an alternating schedule in addition to her twice a day insulin. She did a good job asking questions and making sure Kitten got the medications she needed on the correct schedule. She successfully gave both oral and injection medication and Kitten was in great shape when I got back (which is not always the case after a vacation due to her detailed care needs). There were some minor things that came up but those were mostly me being very particular about some specifics and in the end, were not that important and didn't affect the care of the cats. The house was clean and the cat food and litter box trash taken out, which I appreciated.”

I will already know how the dogs are going to act and I will be prepared. I never leave the doors unlocked/open unless advised by the owner. I will do exactly what the owner has said to do. I will always double check a dog is secured with their leash when going outside, I will also be aware of the weather and how that might switch the dogs needs when going outside.

“We’ve always used family members to look after our fur babies, but this time they came on vacation with us, and we were left with no one to look after Riley and Murphy. Thank goodness we found Susan – she was absolutely terrific! Right off the bat when we first met Susan, we got an excellent first impression. She is very warm and friendly and was great with our pets. During the time away Susan sent us text messages and photos which really put our minds at ease. Our one cat, Murphy, is very timid and doesn’t usually come out while strangers are around. Susan was concerned when he wouldn’t come out for dinner. I reassured her that he would come out when he got hungry. I ratted Murphy’s hiding spot out, and she was able to feed him there the next day. I had to laugh when I received the text that she was “quite determined to make friends with Murphy.” By the end of the week Murphy was coming out for dinner and even let Susan pet him! I have not done injections but am willing to do if trained I’m retired so I have plenty of time to care for your pet in my home or come to your home for check-ins and walks. I have a fenced yard and am close to a local state park for long walks. I also live in a very walkable subdivision. I don’t mind a well behaved pet on furniture.

About: Hello! My family and I love animals. We've been on Rover since January 2024! We currently have 2 indor cats and have backyard chickens (in coop) that are pets and lay eggs for us. We live in a quiet Hartland neighborhood in a cul-de-sac that is very low traffic. Part of our yard is fenced for play and potty breaks, and I love taking walks around our neighborhood. The majority of the week, my husband is working from home or I am home. The longest your pet may be left is 6 hours if staying with us during the work week. So usually someone is there to spend time with your pet! We are available any day of the week for boarding. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac. I always practice sit-stay when opening the door to prevent bolting out. Part of our yard is fenced and outside the fence your pet will always be leashed. If I am away for a short period and it's needed for safety or per your preference, we do have a large crate and an enclosed pet gate.

Kisna is great with people including children of all ages and small sized puppies and dogs. If your pup is ok with small sized pup, please consider me for your boarding and petsitting needs. I am currently in between the jobs, hence have a lot of time to cuddle the fur babies and make them feel special. Please check my calendar for availability. I only offer petsitting and petboarding through my home. Not available for petsitting at owners' home. About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 5, my sister is a vet and I always have access to ask her any questions if something were to ever happen, I hope to own my own hobby farm one day! I recently accepted a new nail technician position in Richfield, and my current work hours will be Monday 11 to 6, Friday 11 to 6 and Saturday 9 to 4 starting July 6th over time I will be adding in more days. About: From a young age i’ve always loved animals, having grown up with 4+ animals in the house at all times i learned very quickly my love for animals. i have worked at 2 vets in the past and 2 doggy daycares, those jobs showed me how much i really wanted to care for animals, and while i am not working at this time id still like to devote time to helping people out and making dogs happy with walks and play time and company, i have cared for dogs weighing from under 10 pounds all the way to almost 200 pounds, i do have some experience with administering medication orally and with a needle if needed. i cared for my elderly cat in the past and my elderly dog now, I've given insulin shots and given pills, I am more than comfortable handling that, I found by putting the pill in a small treat nine times out of ten they don’t even notice it’s in there! I know what the feeling is like to have to leave your animals behind when you go on vacation or wherever, but i would love to make them feel happy and loved while your gone! I care for all animals the way I would care for my own pets. my schedule is open now so even if you have a puppy who needs extra potty breaks i’m available to come up to every 2-3 hours if needed. i’m really flexible and can work with everyone at the moment i am not working so this actually works out very well with me im relatively open for pet care:) i just have a few scattered doctors appointments throughout the week in my clients home I will make sure to follow any rules and or guidelines that are expected of the animals and myself obviously as I am in someone else’s home..

“Heather was the best ! Boarding Zoe with Heather & her family at their wonderful home was a perfect match for me (& Zoe!) Heather is very organized & prepared to deal with hosting a dog's individual behavior and adapting to their routine for the best results. Heather - having her own dog and another daycare dog to keep company & play with Zoe - was a perfect situation. She was very flexible with my drop-off & pick-up schedule which made all my travel arrangements "a breeze" with no worries. I couldn't be more pleased & recommend Heather without any hesitation. I hope my future travel plans will allow a repeat overnight for Zoe with Heather again !”
“I have a special-needs dog that is blind, and due to loss of sight struggles with other dogs only because he can’t see them coming. Tracy watch Dover Rocky and make sure he was OK with all the other dogs and then sent me some of the cutest pictures of him just relaxing little notes telling me he was getting along with a dog that barked at him earlier. I’m never left Rocky with any other person other than family. Tracy is not part of that family.”
“We recently left our 5-year-old Golden with Nikki for a week, and she did an absolutely incredible job! From the moment I dropped him off, I knew he was in great hands. This was our first time leaving him with someone outside of close family friends, and he had a wonderful experience. I would 100% trust Nikki with him again in the future! Throughout his stay, Nikki sent multiple updates and photos each day, which was so thoughtful and very much appreciated. Basil loved spending time outside in the fenced-in backyard and had a blast snuggling and playing with Nikki’s kids. Thank you so much, Nikki, for taking such amazing care of our boy!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Hannah! She took such great care of our dog, Polar, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Polar is a total Velcro dog who loves being around people. Whenever we have left him in the past at facility boarding he has ended up sick and with separation anxiety. However, with Hannah and her family, it was clear he felt comfortable and well cared for. I really appreciated the updates, photos, and communication throughout his stay. I could tell he received lots of love and attention. Polar came home today and has been sleeping since. I know he played hard and had fun. We will absolutely book with Hannah again and have already highly recommend her to several of my friends looking for a caring, reliable sitter!”
