I especially fell in love with animal care when I stayed with my aunt's elderly cat for 4 months. He had such personality and required special medicine. I often took care of my employer's dog and bunny when she was out of town. My schedule is limited because I work in retail full time. My schedule is not the same every day. I typically work 9 to 5:30, but some days may deviate. Since moving out I have owned and helped train multiple working dogs, including the pointer I have now. I have no problem administering medications if needed. They are cared for in our home and integrated into being cared for as part of our family with 2 little welcoming fur babies.

About: Growing up with a variety of animals really gave me the compassion and love I have for animals now. Also, it gave me the skill I need to be able to take care of and provide for the different species of animals there are out there. Mostly, it was dogs and cats but I do have experience in caring for hamsters and bunnies. I love to go walking/hiking just to be outside and getting fresh air so i have no problem going on walks. About: Until college, I had never lived in a home without a dog. And from a young age, I was taught everything I need to know about caring for them. Between my parents, we currently have five dogs, a cat, and four guinea pigs. My siblings and I have been working hard for years to care for our fur-babies, and I can’t wait to meet yours! About: I've taken care of a variety of dogs since I was very young. I grew up with labs and I am very comfortable with all sizes of dogs. I took care of my yellow lab/retriever mix, Blue, for so many years; taking her on long walks, giving her baths, making sure she got along with our neighbor dogs. I also helped out taking care of my neighbor dogs from time to time. After my dog died at the age of 15, my family didn't think we would get another dog. 7 years ago, we got a new puppy, his name is Brooks, and he is a yellow lab. He is very different than our old dog. He has lots of energy, he has ran away a couple times but always came back or we found him, and we lived on 2 acres of land so that helped. He is our first inside dog, so he loves cuddles, treats, sleeping, playing catch and sneaking downstairs where he is not supposed to be. I have lots of experience with dogs and I appreciate and love them very much! I am currently working at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, so I have the summer off. This summer I also work part-time at Festival. During the school year, I have Fridays off and I am done by 5:30pm the other days. On Mondays and Wednesdays I have slower mornings. I can help out throughout the day and on weekends. I live in an apartment building but there is an area with lots of grass and next to the building and around the area. My building doesn’t allow pets so I am not able to house pets at my place, but I can always talk to my landlord.

About: I really enjoy taking care of my own and my family and friends’ pets. I connect with animals easily and feel good in their presence. I am currently taking care of my aging dog Bilka. I’m not teaching during the summer months and have a lot of availability in July and August. I can pet sit on weekdays and on weekends. I have a fenced in yard where my dog can roam around. About: Empty nester, retired, and happy to share my home with your pup. We had a wonderful pup for 17.5 years and sadly he passed over the rainbow bridge about three years ago. I know how important it is to have a good home for your pet when you are out of town. I’d be happy to give lots of walks, belly rubs and love! I have a fenced yard but prefer to walk dogs for potty breaks. Experienced with senior pups. I am an early retiree and have remained active, however, have the time to care for a dog. I take walks regularly twice a day so it’s easy to fit dog walking in my routine I have a fenced yard and a large home. I do not allow dogs on my furniture but am happy to play and lay with them on the floor.
About: Grew up on a farm with lots of cats and dogs. I have a 15-year-old border collie mix that can no longer go for long walks. Hoping for the opportunity to take some other pups on walks too! I work as a nurse, so I am more than willing to administer medications and injections. Being that I have an elderly dog myself, I am no stranger to senior care or special needs. I currently work as a nurse full-time, but I am available most days to help with taking your dog out or checking in on your kitty. I am available most weekends as well. I cannot offer pet boarding, but I am willing to check in on your furry family members! I am always willing to lend a hand when life gets busy. About: I’ve taken care of many animals. Owner of Saint Bernard’s and had horse’s. Assisted with nail trimming and light grooming. Our family has rescued many pets. I do work a FT job. About: I have fostered close to 50 cats ranging from 3 days old to 19 years old. I have two cats of my own and had a dog for 13 years. I have done many overnight dog sitting stays as well as a few cat sitting stays. I love the outdoors as well and going for walks with dogs is one of my favorite outdoor hobbies!
