I grew up around dogs/cats of all kinds my whole life and have previous experience with dog sitting for friends while they were away on trips. I’ve also volunteered at my local animal shelter, where I spent time caring for and walking both dogs and cats. You don’t need to worry about traveling, as I have my own vehicle to travel. Because I work part time at a clinic, I’m available only afternoons and nights during the week. However, I'm available all day during the weekends. If you need a sitter, I would be unavailable to take them to my own house, but can stop in/stay at your place. Caring for an pet greatly depends on the pet themselves and the owner's desires. I love to play and be active with the animals if allowed. If a pet is older and doesn't like to be active for long, I enjoy just spending the quality time so they aren't lonely while their owner is away. I also always check in with the client about their pet's basic needs, such as how much they are fed and how often, how often they are let out, if there is any needs for any disabilities, etc.

About: I've been around animals my whole life. I have a cat and have had several different dogs. I even fostered dogs for a summer. I'm now divorced and have my kids half the time. My work is flexible and I can add in dog care as needed throughout the day. I homeschool my boys when I have them and work delivery jobs when I don't. My work is very flexible so I can make time for per care any time. I live in town with a small yard. It works best to come to your home as it's most familiar for the animal. About: The two loves of my life were my dog, Abby, and my dog Bronx. Abby was a Siberian husky and Bronx a 15” lemon beagle. Bronx was part of my life for 20 years and just recently passed. I honestly can’t imagine a life without animals in it, and one day I wanna be able to reflect back on my life, knowing that I did as much as I could to help as many animals as possible, which is why becoming a part of ROVER is so appealing. I have an incredibly flexible work schedule that will enable me to schedule my work hours around my hours caring for animals. About: I have worked for roughly two years dog sitting for friends and family. Typically these have been in my own home - occasionally overnight. I have a fenced in back yard for my 3 dogs & 2 cats so I have experience with both :) I have complete availability currently, so my dog at home gets quite a lot of walks and park time. If possible, i also try to socialize him with people each day. Typically I take my dog to the dog park in the evening with a long walk in the morning. This works best for my dogs energy levels, but each dog is different. I am also trying to socialize my dog in public as he is a bit scared of humans so we try to hit some breweries here and there.

I have a 4 year old pitbull of my own I’ve been taking care of for the past 3 years! I work at a dog kennel everyday and help take care of lab puppies from birth- 8 weeks old I have a fenced in yard and a very friendly pitbull/bulldog mix that loves to play and meet new friends and would love to keep your dog company
About: Hello there! My partner Andrew and I share a true love of animals, as well as traveling, and over the past 11 years we have offered our services as pet sitters and care-givers as a way to pursue 2 passions at once! We like to see it as a win-win for us and you, as we have used this platform and others as a way to both earn, and save money, while having meaningful experiences along the way. Having both grown up with animals and then having our own, as well as both being the eldest sibling of large families, has given us a lot of genuine experience. We are definitely what you would call "naturals". Animals not only like us but feel safe and comfortable with us. Our reputation and references are something we have worked hard for and consider of the utmost value. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to do this professionally and have had a great experience here on Rover, as well as via word of mouth. We have recently returned to Minnesota where I am from and once again offering ourselves up as dog walkers and house/pet sitters! I know leaving not only your pet but your house takes a lot of trust and so I would love to do whatever I can to assure you they are both safe. I can think of no better way than to prove we are what we are what we believe ourselves to be, something we pride ourselves on being able to say, and shows the effort we have put into each sit/stay to take care of animals and homes as if they were our own. Some of the other things we do for work and are passionate about are: music, food service, teaching Spanish, writing, and instruments, child-care, coaching, and various outdoor activities. About: 20+ years of experience (that makes me feel old). Unofficial dog sitter for family and friends since high school. Loyal to my fellow dog loving friends sharing word of mouth recommendations, fostered a giant breed and helped find his forever home, loved my first dog for nearly 8 years, and now I would like to fill the void by helping care for your four legged family member. I have experience caring for senior dogs and puppies as well. I work fully remote, so I appreciate the screen breaks. I am able to go out for walks or outdoor time often. After losing my dog this summer, I do miss the quality time and walk routines. We joke that you better love dogs, but it is true. My home is setup to be dog friendly, maybe more rugs for traction on the vinyl plank floors. Animals are part of the family and that is how we treat guest pets as well. Living on 3 acres in the country, so a great space for outdoor activities. I am quite respectful when residing in another’s home and great at following instructions and/or preferred routines.
