Mary sends us many pictures of Bax when we are away. She takes care of Bax like he is her own dog. Bax has a pill that he takes everyday, and Mary makes sure that he gets it. She is very flexible with drop off/pick up times too. Baxter is going to stay at Mary's house often!”

I work from home full time, so I'm here to interact with your pet and provide frequent breaks for play and potty. My boyfriend gets home from work in the late afternoon and will shower your pet with affection as well! I have a small, unfenced yard and will let your dog outside on a long lead to keep him/her safe and under my supervision. Your dog will have access to kitchen, living/dining room, bathroom, and up to 3 bedrooms. Basement will not be accessible.

About: I have always had family pets growing up. I got my own dog when I was in high school. I currently own 2 well-mannered dogs, a hunting labrador and a scent detection pit-mix. I have more than 2 years of professional gun dog training experience, and have trained over 50 other puppies/dogs. I currently work from home, so I will be able to accommodate any schedule your pet may need. My own dogs recieve 2 feedings per day (5am and 5pm). We often take a morning walk (typically no less than 1-2 miles, less if I am walking a young puppy or senior dog with mobility issues). Also evening walks if weather is appropriate. I do not allow my dogs to do strenuous activity or rough play right after a meal. The yard is not fenced, so dogs will be on leash or long-line and fully supervised when outside the home. For off-lead outdoor fun we will take trips to the local dog park (not a very heavily utilized park, usually empty). I have experience providing oral and subcutaneous medication to pets, should your pet need medication while in my care.

About: As far as experience goes there isn’t a time in my life I remember that I wasn’t caring for an animal. From reptiles, to rodents, to cats and dogs, I’ve had them all. From a young age I was taught responsibility and discipline when it came to caring for tiny creatures. Additionally for over two years I volunteered weekly at a local animal shelter. During this time I gained knowledge as to how animals interacted with one another, how to properly administer medication, warning signs to look out for, what to do in emergencies, and deeply studied animal behavior. To add on to that I am currently employed at a doggie daycare. During my time here not only have I gotten to widen my horizons when it came to taking care of animals but I have learned hands on how to bandage a wound, what to do in animal confrontations as well as how to handle the unexpected such as sickness or seizures. Additionally over the last 3 years I have volunteered at different animal welfare programs across the globe. These include Portugal, Puerto Rico, Tanzania and soon Hawaii. As I previously stated I currently am employed at a doggie daycare. Additionally I work at a bakery as well. My schedule changes weekly so it can be hard to give an exact time frame when booking. Typically I work up to 8 hour shifts. I typically prefer to stay in clients homes to keep their pets safe and happy in their own environment. I will be there in the morning before work, and will immediately come back when I get off as well as being there at night. I try to spend as much time as possible with the pets while you are away I typically only offer staying in the clients home and I am comfortable crating animals while gone. I always keep things like medications safely out of reach and secured. Additionally upon booking I typically ask about any health notes, allergies, or special needs as well as a good contact number for your vet in case of emergency.

Sometimes weekends can be hard, however I always find ways to make everything work out. As I live under my parents households still, I have two homes. One house has a large fenced in yard, with two friendly dogs that live there. The other home, has a large open field in the back, which unless the animal is off the leash trained, we have long leads for them to run free (ish). This home also has two even more friendly dogs who would love the company. Both of these homes are located in nice neighborhoods in the town of Plymouth.
About: I have had a dog for 12 years and do dog sitting on occasion. I love dogs and will take care of your dog as if it were my own! We can go for walks, runs, or just take a nap depending on what your dog enjoys. My goal is for both you and your furry friend to be happy. No dog is too big, no dog is too small as long as their tail is wagging I can dogsit them all! I love all dogs and would love to take care of your pet! About: I have over 15 years of pet sitting experience with a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, birds, turtles, lizards, fish, rabbits, chickens and ducks. I have experience with temperamental or reactive animals as well.
