About: I grew up in a home with all kinds of pets, and I am very responsible with pet care (paying attention to safety, dietary needs, etc). I have owned cats, dogs (from Chihuahua to giant Mastiff) and I've even owned a snake. I am my family and friends "go-to pet sitter", when they are away on trips. I have one cat who is quite shy and typically hides from visitors (even family members who visit regularly), but Elizabeth managed to earn his trust on the very first visit. My other cat requires an inhaler twice a day and can be quite squirmy, but Elizabeth administered the dosages without any issues. Elizabeth sent updates after every drop-in visit, complete with cute photos. She even watered my flowers outside. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing that my pets and my home were in good hands while I was away.”
About: I have been pet sitting for 20+ years and it might be one of my favorite ‘jobs’ because no part of it has ever felt like a job. Pets are family. I grew up around dogs/cats of all kinds my whole life and have previous experience with dog sitting for friends while they were away on trips. I’ve also volunteered at my local animal shelter, where I spent time caring for and walking both dogs and cats. You don’t need to worry about traveling, as I have my own vehicle to travel. Because I work part time at a clinic, I’m available only afternoons and nights during the week. However, I'm available all day during the weekends. If you need a sitter, I would be unavailable to take them to my own house, but can stop in/stay at your place. Caring for an pet greatly depends on the pet themselves and the owner's desires. I love to play and be active with the animals if allowed. If a pet is older and doesn't like to be active for long, I enjoy just spending the quality time so they aren't lonely while their owner is away. About: Please note*** I cannot board pets where I live, all pet sitting (days and overnight) is done at your residence. Hello! I've had dogs and cats all my life. I am the type to keep my dogs active whether it be playing fetch in the yard or throwing the stick in the lake for them to fetch. I believe in lots of play toys and chewys so they never get bored. I also understand the dog who might be more calm, maybe a little shy and likes time alone, and that is very understandable. I am a retired nurse and know pretty well the signs and symptoms of pain or discomfort. I understand the importance of proper nutrition and availability of fresh water. I'm a unique pet/house sitter in that I travel in my beautiful Canadian Roadtrek Campervan and can house "watch" while taking care of your pets. I do not need to stay in your home. Any additional duties other than "watch" your house can be negotiated- like water a few houseplants, etc. I do ask that you provide a household electric (120V) outside plug in. My small RV uses approx. $2-$3 per day of electricity. I love animals. I have a 3 yr. old yellow Labrador myself! I travel often in my RV and we make great travel partners often stopping at dog parks 2-3 times a day on our adventures. Beau would love to have playmates! Currently I am mobile and spend Summers in WI and Winters in AZ. I will come to you. I can stay as long as you need for your pet care - up to 2+ weeks if needed. I can only provide mobile pet/house sitting. I am unable to pet sit in the home I live in. I am a recently retired nurse. I am trained not only in human CPR, but I also have dog and cat CPR training. I have given pets medication, induced vomiting -per instructions while on the phone with a vet tech (after dog ate 1 1/2 lbs of bing cherries - pits and all. Happy ending! :). When I go into a home I find myself scanning countertops and floors for potential hazards for pets - things like medications, foods, hot boiling water on stovetop with handles pointing out, etc... I am constantly monitoring for potential dangers. Sometimes things happen though, unfortunately, that can't be avoided and that's when first aid, CPR, poison control line, and Vet info need to all be available and handy. I ask that all instructions be written down and text/emailed to me 24 hours prior. That way if I have any questions, they can be answered before you leave on your relaxing worry-free vacation!

About: The two loves of my life were my dog, Abby, and my dog Bronx. Abby was a Siberian husky and Bronx a 15” lemon beagle. Bronx was part of my life for 20 years and just recently passed. I honestly can’t imagine a life without animals in it, and one day I wanna be able to reflect back on my life, knowing that I did as much as I could to help as many animals as possible, which is why becoming a part of ROVER is so appealing. I have a two-story condo that they would be able to spend most of their time in with me. I also have a heated garage that I’ve converted into a safe and comfortable area for animals to play in. In addition to that, I live in Woodbury, literally surrounded by parks, full of walking paths that will be ideal for a dogs exercise. One thing I would like pet owners to know is that I’m not doing this for the money, I’m doing this because I’m newly single and alone and can’t think of anybody better to spend my time with than animals in need. I wouldn’t just be some dog watcher, I would be their friend that plays with them and loves being with them.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for 4 years now! I’m comfortable with staying in your home for overnights or just visiting during the day for walks and play time! Willing to travel to wherever you’re located. I currently have a part-time job, where I work Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. The only days I have limited availability are Tuesdays and Thursdays, as I spend time with family on those days. Outside of that, my schedule is very flexible, so I’m able to work around your pet’s routine and needs. My husband also works a varied schedule, so in the rare event that I’m unexpectedly unavailable, he can usually step in to help with something simple like letting your pup outside or making sure your pet is fed. About: I have been taking care of friends and families pets since I was 16. Taking care of their animals while they are on vacation. I was responsive for feeding, walking, taking them out to use the bathroom, playing with them and caring for them while their parents were away. I’m a teacher. During the school year I’m available every day, but all day on Saturday's and Sunday's. In the summer time my availability is wide open! I live in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of roads and paths for walking around to get plenty of exercise. We have an open basement for playing and a dog of our own they can have fun with!
