“Kristin and her boys were absolutely amazing with Junior. He played to his heart's content, and I'm pretty sure he will tell you he has a "girlfriend" now. This was the first time we left without him, so we were a bit worried, but he did just fine. About: I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, and in recent years, cats too, including one we found as an orphaned kitten, just a few weeks old, hiding in our backyard bushes. Nursing him through those fragile first months taught me a lot about patience, close observation, and gentle care, all things I bring to every pet I look after. By background, I’m a people nurse, so I’m comfortable with medications, mobility issues, senior pets, or anything unexpected that comes up. These days I’m an at-home mom and entrepreneur, which means I have flexibility during the day and evenings. Some of the dogs I've sat for were show dogs or had health needs that required a strict routine, diet, or medication needs. While I used to be in the workforce I am home with two boys, they would be with me for any visits or walks so a somewhat kid friendly dog is needed. We used to have dogs of our own so they are both used to pups. This does make me super flexible and able to get up and go pretty quick. I have experience with a wide array of dog breeds, temperaments, energy levels and sizes. Im all ears for preferences and needs for any dog too. I am up and ready to go if needed by 8 and try to be home to cook by 4, and then Im available from 5:30/6ish when dinner raps up as my husband is home and I can run if needed. I approach slowly and gently to encourage calm for the high energy ones and safety for the more timid. I can give food and water if needed, kennel the pup if needed, and will leave the place the same if not better than how I found it.

About: I've always loved to be around animals, whether that was taking care of them, playing with them or even just being in their company. I am an athlete so I love to take dogs on a walk or run or just being outdoors in general. I have taken care of mostly family, and family friends dogs for long periods at a time. I will have plenty of time to take care of your dog, I will usually have time in the mornings or early afternoon, due to another job I have in the afternoons. About: Growing up, my mom was the Eau Claire County Humane Officer, FEMA Animal Emergency Management volunteer coordinator, and general manager of the Chippewa County Humane Association. Throughout my childhood I helped care for thousands of dogs, cat, rabbits, and even a handful of lizards and snakes. I am well versed in animal behavior, safety, and empathy! We live in a large, upper, 2 bedroom apartment and can easily accommodate temporary space for one or two more pets (of the same family). We have a park with an open field for playing ball, and the interurban trail are both a short walk away. We have plenty of green space around our building for shorter potty breaks. I have a large Ruffland crate available for your pets use.

About: Being with animals isn't a job for me, it's my favorite thing to do! I've grown up with animals around me my whole life, and I started walking dogs when I was 16. Almost 20 years later I am still loving on pets whenever I can. I currently own a Bearded Dragon and a senior pup - But I owned special needs kitties for 19 years. I've watched 13 cats and 2 dogs in the same home once! - Manual feeding assistance for sick pets - LOTS of attention. My visits are longer than most as I love to just sit with pets and give them attention in the ways they need or want. For overnight stays, I'm a homebody so I love to stay at the house and just hang out with the animals! - A LOT of Flexibility: I don't work full-time right now, and my sleep schedule isn't regular. This means I have no issues with adjusting schedules even last minute. Need me to come earlier? Or come back when your flight is cancelled? No problem. - *Cat Whisperer* I have been told by most of, if not all, cat clients that are standoffish like me quicker or more than a normal stranger. I love cats the most, so I think they can sense it ;) - *Coming Soon* Insurance for your pet and home during my stays! Any tips will be going towards that and training classes so I can grow. About me: - I've lived in WI since 2009 - I have 18 years of working experience - clerical, customer, administrative and sales support, retail - In my free time I like going to concerts, listening to music and doing crafts/projects, playing video games or hanging out with my friends and family Currently my schedule is completely open! I am flexible for even last minute bookings or changes. I have my own transportation and things are taken care of for me at home. So long stays, short stays or visits work for me. I work around whatever needs you and your pets have so make sure everyone is as comfortable as possible. I'll ask for a digital or typed/written instructions so I can follow them to the letter! I keep areas clean and make sure everything is secure before I leave a home. I also always send a "closing" message for overnight stays with details like mail collection etc! Your pet's safety and your ease of mind are my top priorities.

About: We have cared for dogs for many years. We have 2 acres of land for your furry friend to play on! We have a fenced in play area too. We also have goats and bunnies for the doggies to watch in their play area (no interaction). We hope you'll consider letting us make a new friend with your pup! We prefer to take additional dogs on weekends and during summer right now. We will consider longer stays, but work during the day, so your dog would need to be kenneled during this time Dogs are free to roam inside and outside during the day. Your dog will be supervised at all times. We prefer a crate at night for your dog, but can work around it if necessary!
About: I have taken care of pets since I was 8. I pay attention to all the pets that I care for. I also am very good at attending to dogs with anything they need. I am looking to do this full time and I am flexible with anyone’s schedule. I am home most of the time except to run errands. I have a big house and big yard that is fenced in. I live 5 minutes away from a big dog park. I also live with my mom and two of my siblings. There are four medium sized dogs that live in this house and enjoy playing with most other dogs.

“Kristin and her boys were absolutely amazing with Junior. He played to his heart's content, and I'm pretty sure he will tell you he has a "girlfriend" now. This was the first time we left without him, so we were a bit worried, but he did just fine. It was also nice that she took him in on such short notice, as we were having problems with locating the person we were originally leaving Junior with. After this experience, I will guarantee that I will use her again and again.....even if it's just for a "playdate" with his new girlfriend....:) Thank you sooooo much, Kristin!
