“Heather and her family welcomed Darcy back to their home with open arms. She sent photos of Darcy throughout her stay so we could see how she was doing. “Christine to great care of my dog! She has a lot of experience and knowledge about dog training as well, and was very flexible and went out of her way to make sure that Pretzel was going to be a good fit with her other dogs. “We left our dog Toffee with Jenny and her family for 5 days while we attended a work conference, and we could not have asked for a better experience! This was our first time using Rover and leaving Toffee with someone we didn’t know, so we were definitely nervous at first. Jenny immediately made us feel comfortable with constant updates, pictures, and videos throughout the entire stay. Toffee had the absolute best time running around in her huge backyard, playing with her kids and her two dogs, and getting so much love and attention. It truly felt like he was treated as part of their family. You can tell Jenny genuinely cares about the dogs she watches. We were able to fully enjoy our trip knowing Toffee was happy, safe, and so well cared for. We are beyond grateful and will absolutely be booking with Jenny and her lovely family again in the future. Highly recommend!”

We got frequent picture and video updates and it put our minds at great ease to know she was in such good hands. We can back home to a very happy pupper! Highly recommend and will definitely be boarding her here again when we need to go out of town.”

“I could not be more thankful for Maggie! She and her family took incredible care of Lincoln while we were out of the country. It was our first time leaving him with someone other than family so I was nervous. But Maggie patiently listened and I never once worried about him after dropping him off. She sent the most detailed videos and photos with updates every day and treated him like their own. He enjoyed walks, playing with Nova, treats, chilling, and lots of snuggles. In fact he didn’t even want to leave their house when getting picked up. So nice knowing he was loved and happy!! Thank you Maggie, Seth, Tanner, and Nova!! We appreciate you SO much! Lincoln looks forward to his next visit!”

“Robert was wonderful. I felt really good leaving my fur baby with him. He sent updates and pictures which I really appreciated. I would definitely book with Robert again.”

“My dog practically darted inside his house before I could say goodbye, always a good sign. Happy that he has other dogs of his own. At least my sweet boy has other friends around. Brad sent me a couple pics & kept me up to date about his behavior.”

Tuesdays and every other Sunday I'm available afternoon. That could potentially change if more work comes in. I care for my pets by taking them to the dog park twice a week making sure they have food and water. Also making sure they are utd on their shots. For taking care of your pet tho that would go off of how you would want me to take care of your animals. You are the owner. I'm just there to help you out and take care of your animals.

About: I have owned cats my whole life, both indoor and outdoor. I am very comfortable providing care to cats of all ages. I have experience caring for senior cats, sick cats, or kittens. I can administer medications if necessary, and can provide the BEST cuddles for your kitties (if they allow it!) I have two cats of my own currently, so I know how mischievous they can be or needing playful stimulation when home alone for too long. I would love to give you peace of mind in making sure your cat is well cared for and looked after when you are away from home.

“Leah did a wonderful job taking care of Helen and Violet. When I returned home Helen and Vi were very mellow and relaxed because they had excellent care :) It meant so much to me to know that they were well cared for while I celebrated Christmas with my family in Oregon.”

About: I’ve spent the last 9 years caring for my Doberman, Rockso, including his senior years and ongoing health needs. For the past 3 years I’ve also cared for and trained our energetic German Shepherd/American Bulldog mix, Jett, from puppyhood through adolescence. My experience includes daily exercise, feeding schedules, medication administration, basic training reinforcement, senior dog care, and handling large, high-energy breeds. I’ve also provided pet sitting services for friends and family both in their homes and in ours. We have access to a yard area and I understand the importance of keeping pets safe, active, and comfortable while their owners are away. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, companionship, or dependable daily care, I’ll treat them with the same attention and care I give my own dogs. Pet care is already a major part of my daily life. My day begins and ends with caring for my own dogs, including walks, feeding, exercise, training, playtime, and monitoring their overall health and well-being. Because I structure my schedule around animal care, adding pet visits, walks, and check-ins for clients fits naturally into my routine. I am typically available during daytime hours and can provide reliable morning and midday visits, walks, feeding, potty breaks, exercise, and companionship. I understand the importance of consistency for pets and make communication with owners a priority by providing updates and photos whenever appropriate. Whether caring for a young puppy, an active adult dog, a senior pet, or a cat that simply needs daily attention, I have the flexibility and experience to ensure they receive dependable care and attention while their owners are away. Every pet has its own personality, routine, and needs, so I take the time to follow the owner's instructions and maintain consistency whenever possible. I believe pets are most comfortable when their normal feeding, exercise, potty, medication, and sleep schedules are respected. When caring for pets in a client's home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal as possible through walks, playtime, feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, companionship, and any requested updates to the owner. I treat every home with respect and communicate regularly with photos and messages so owners can feel confident their pets are doing well. When caring for pets in my home, safety and supervision are my top priorities. Pets receive regular exercise, attention, fresh water, feeding according to their schedule, and a comfortable environment to relax. I have experience with large breeds, puppies, and senior dogs, and I understand that some pets need extra patience, structure, or encouragement to feel comfortable in a new environment. My goal is always to provide reliable, compassionate care and treat every pet as if they were my own.

About: I have had animals since I was very young so lots of experience. Have owned 3 rescue dogs who are just like members of my family. Recently, I have been helping friends with their animals when they vacation and am looking to extend my client group to the local area. I am very active so walking dogs is very enjoyable for me. I am free most mornings and nights and have longer breaks during my work day that would allow flexibility for drop ins and walks all week. I am able to come to your home and provide for your pet's needs including walks, feeding, potty breaks etc. I've even been known to clean a litter box or two. Can provide references upon request.
About: We are a family looking to host short term visits and love on puppies so my kids can experience taking care of dogs without the longterm commitment. We are a homeschooling family that have capacity to learn responsibility being supervised and give so much attention to puppies who need a place to stay while you travel! The intention of hosting your family pet is that they will be apart of our family while they stay with us and be loved and taken care of well instead of being kenneled.
“Martha is so great, she accommodated us last minute which was so helpful! She sent update pictures which I really appreciate! Uma was in great care and had fun with her boys. They took her for walks and played with her. I’d recommend Martha and her family :)”

“Thank you for being available to watch Georgia! I You were amazing with communication on how she was doing and also so kind in getting to know and love our dog. Looking forward to rebooking with you soon!”

About: I've cared for cats and dogs my own as well as other owners, for the last 20-plus years I also have experience with other kinds of animals. I protect animals fiercely and I am extremely receptive of detail and specifics that any pet owner may have for me. I have varied availability throughout the week and weekend. Although I have another job, and have a family, I still have flexibility to do pet care. :-) I care for my own animals deeply in one of my top priorities is meeting their needs. I probably even go above and beyond for someone else's pet as I understand that someone else is putting their fur babies in my care. I appreciate good communication and I pay attention to details that a pet owner may have for me.
About: Former full-time human medical provider of 18 years; now available for pup sitting. Takes frequent walks with the neighborhood dog pack. Owner of one special dog named Tennessee. I’m free to organize my schedule between pet sitting and working on my business. Currently available most days until July 20th! Will update calendar when I know more. I like routine. “We had an amazing first Rover experience! Christine was fantastic with Nell—kind, attentive, and very communicative. The frequent updates and photos meant so much and really put me at ease. I’m so grateful for the great care and already booked again!”

“Emily responded quickly to my request for daycare and we did a meet & greet the day before to make sure my dog Wolfie and her two dogs Gus & Bailey got along. It was perfect, all was good. The actual day of daycare Wolfie couldn’t wait to get inside Emily’s house! Wolfie played a lot and was very chill/tired for the evening. Emily is very nice and took great care of my pup! Highly recommend. Thanks Emily!!”

About: Hello there! While growing up with dogs it was very clear to me from an early age that dogs are the most warm amazing creatures. While we don't have any pets of our own right now our most recent best friend was a rescue Maltipoo who required special care and I truly adored taking care of her. Which is why you can trust me to love your family member as of it were my own! My typical day is really flexible. l workout in the morning however, I stay at home so I'm lucky my entire day has plenty of time freedom so I can love and cuddle your fur baby 24/7 which is important to me. I grew up in this area and have been here my whole life. My husband and I bought a house in Fitchburg 5 years ago and absolutely love our safe quiet little neighborhood. We have sidewalks and I love walking dogs- most likely wouldn't even see anyone else on our walks because of how quaint it is here. I can easily crate your dog if you prefer but in my home your pet is created like a human and is welcome to sleep in bed with me and to follow me around and be my shadow during the day!
About: Pet parents love booking with me because I provide fast communication, reliable care, and affordable rates. I typically respond within 2–3 minutes between 7am and 9pm, so you’ll never be left waiting for a response or update. I also have a flexible schedule and can often accommodate short-notice bookings, making things easy for busy pet parents. In July 2025, my heart grew four paws bigger when I brought home Bella, my sweet Goldendoodle—and I’ve loved every second of raising, training, and adventuring with her. I genuinely love spending time with dogs—it’s basically free therapy haha! 🐶 As a dedicated dog sitter and pet caregiver, I treat every dog like they’re part of my family. Whether it’s dog sitting, doggy day care, boarding, drop-in visits, or walks, I make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I grew up with cats and fostered over 10 through the Underdog Pet Rescue of Wisconsin during college, helping them heal, build confidence, and find their forever homes (one of those special fosters even joined my parents’ family!). From vet appointments and administering medications to daily routines, enrichment, exercise, and lots of snuggles, I’ve been hands-on in every stage of pet care. Your pets will be treated like family—because that’s exactly what they are to me. 💛🐶🐱 If you’re looking for an affordable, reliable, and communicative pet sitter, I would love to meet you and your furry family members! I work full-time from home, which allows me to provide pets with consistent attention, supervision, playtime, and care throughout the day. My schedule is structured yet flexible, making it easy to incorporate walks, feeding routines, potty breaks, enrichment activities, and plenty of cuddles without rushing. I live in a very dog-friendly apartment community that features an on-site dog park and numerous walking paths, giving dogs plenty of opportunities for exercise, exploration, and fresh air. I'm also usually available on weekends, allowing for extra companionship and one-on-one attention. I keep my calendar updated every 1–2 days and may have availability even when my calendar appears full, so please feel free to reach out. I'll always do my best to accommodate your needs and provide your pet with reliable care, a consistent routine, and lots of love. 🐾💛 I care for pets in a safe, loving apartment environment designed with animals in mind. My apartment is pet-friendly and includes plenty of space, cozy pet beds, and lots of toys to keep everyone comfortable and entertained. Our community features a dog park and several walking paths, providing plenty of opportunities for exercise, fresh air, and enrichment. I'm also always happy to take dogs on new adventures or stop for a pup cup treat! For overnight boarding in my home, dogs are safely crated at night (if crate trained or preferred by the owner) to help create a secure and restful environment for everyone. I'm happy to schedule a meet and greet with you and your pet ahead of time to make sure everyone feels comfortable. Please feel free to ask any questions about my services—I believe in open communication and want you to feel completely confident that your furry family member is in good hands while you're away. My home is fully pet-safe and pet-ready, with a structured, secure, and loving environment where your pet will receive plenty of attention, care, and affection. 🐾💛
“5 stars! Can’t sing Julie enough praises! I feel so absolutely at ease while my Cookie is in Julie’s care. Thank you for being a safe and comfortable place for our pup.”

“Brenda and her girls are dog whispers. They collected our dog, who has bad separation anxiety and he instantly warmed to them, which never happens! They shared lots of photos of him too! When they dropped him off, he was in a happy playful mood, so we knew he had a great time!”

“Pri took care of my 9 month old for puppy daycare when I needed to get some painting done at the house. Lily can be busy so she probably kept Pri on her toes throughout the day. Pri sent adorable pictures of their walks and Lily came home tired and happy! Looking forward to booking again in the future.”

“I am so happy we found Jennifer to walk our dog. She's a very caring and responsible person. She asked great questions when we met for introductions. She was on time and let me know of schedule changes and was flexible in rescheduling. Our dog loves her. I highly recommend Jennifer to care for your pets.”

About: I’ve been helping care for my families dogs since I was little, doing things such as cleaning up after their messes, giving them their meds, taking them on walks, and simply just spending time with them and giving them the interaction they need. I’m currently looking for a part time job aside from Rover, so I’ll have as much time as needed to come help care for your pets! Nearly anytime of the day, I can come over and walk your pets, feed them, clean up their areas, or just simply spend some time with them. I’m able to come over nearly anytime and watch your pets, feed them, clean them, or whatever you need! I can give them meds, crate them, walk them, etc.

“Sara was incredible and patient walking with our 8 year old GD. Our doggy is big in the outside but little in the inside and Sara treated her with such gentleness. Highly recommend Sara as a dog walker.”

About: I love dogs! Let me cuddle and love your dog while you’re away! I love to stay active outside and take walks/jogs outdoors. Before committing to a dog myself, I want to experience some of the restrictions that come with having a dog (being home immediately after work/during the day to let the dog out in normal non-Covid times, not staying out too late on the weekends, etc). Hopefully I can use Rover to get my dog fix until I’m able to make the decision to get my own dog. I have severe cat allergies and am allergic to some large dogs, which is why I favor small dogs. I prefer non-shedding dogs to keep my allergies in check. Reach out if you have questions!

About: Hello! I’m an experienced pet care specialist, specializing in dogs. I have been lucky enough to work across the country with all ages, breeds, and needs for the last 3 years. I have experience caring for special needs pets, administering medication, large breeds, as well as farm animals. I am excited to bring a nurturing and fun environment for your pets in your absence! I’m available for daytime care every day and offer a flexible schedule. Overnight care can be accommodated on a case-by-case basis, and I’m always happy to talk through details to see what works best for everyone! I value your animals comfort and safety above all else. I am conscientious, caring, and compassionate in everything that I do with your pets. I strive to create a comfortable environment for them at every turn.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life! I'm familiar with dogs of various sizes and ages, and enjoy spending time outside or inside playing with them. My own dog, Chloe, is a 13 year old little diva that keeps me on my toes. She has 3 pills twice a day and is spoiled with treats throughout the day. Although I have little "formal" dog care experience, I have interacted with dogs with many different personalities. I'm definitely not afraid to have to throw a chuck-it for an entire visit or walk a couple miles. The black lab I have sitted for in the past is very treat motivated for walks and needs to be convinced to go in the right direction. I will be writing my Master's thesis this summer, so I am extremely flexible with when I'll be able to visit and go for walks! This is a way to have some fun with dogs and take a break from reading literature and writing lots of pages! When completing visits and picking up for walks, I will make sure that I am on time and I enter the residence calmly and slowly, especially for the first time! When in your home, I will only use what you ask me to, and not go in any rooms not approved. I'm there to play with your pup, not have a tour - it's your personal space. If your dog is crated, I will make sure that they return to the crate before leaving. I will make sure to double check that doors are properly locked again before leaving. For walks, I'll go whatever route your pup is most used to. I know switching it up isn't ideal for some dogs - my dog, Chloe has only one route she will walk in our neighborhood. I'll let your dogs set the pace, and sniff all the smells! That's how pups see the world! I'm not afraid to walk in rain, but of course, storms are a no-go. I'll make sure that I have a water bowl and bottle for your pup, especially as it gets warm this summer.
“Maggie is fantastic! She is kind, compassionate and extremely reliable. She patiently listened to our instructions regarding our pup and was more than happy to follow everything we requested. It is clear she has a love for animals and is very trustworthy and competent. Our pup was completely comfortable with her and getting belly rubs within the first few minutes. Our furry friend was so excited to see her when she returned for another walk! I can't say enough good things!”

About: I have had all sorts of pets throughout my life and have a deep love for all animals. Unfortunately my dog cannot go for long walks, so I would love to take your dog out for a stroll! I'm able to travel anywhere in the Madison area and can drop by for walks/feeding after 5 and can do overnight stays any day of the week. I have had multiple anxious dogs in my life and I know being with a new person could also cause some anxiety. I will make things as smooth as possible and adjust for your individual pet's needs.

Every pet has its own personality, routine, and needs, so I take the time to follow the owner's instructions and maintain consistency whenever possible. About: I'm a genuine animal lover who treats every home and pet as if they were my own. Whether you have an energetic puppy, a senior dog needing extra care, a shy pup who takes time to warm up, or a small apartment with a feisty terrier — I show up prepared, patient, and attentive. My priority is making sure your pets are happy and your home is respected, so you can travel with real peace of mind. I welcome meet-and-greets beforehand, communicate throughout the stay, and always leave your home just as I found it. Pet sitting is my primary focus when I take a sit — I'm not squeezing it in around a busy schedule. Your pets get my full attention, not leftover time. I stay in your home for the full sit, keeping your pets in their own space with their familiar routines, smells, and comfort. No disruption, no transport — just consistent care in the environment they already trust.

“Michelle was wonderful. She is super kind and so is her husband, Kevin. They handled my dog and his anxiety perfectly, couldn’t have asked for a better spot to board my dog :) he will definitely be my new go to when I need to go out of town!”

“My dog practically darted inside his house before I could say goodbye, always a good sign. Happy that he has other dogs of his own. At least my sweet boy has other friends around. Brad sent me a couple pics & kept me up to date about his behavior.”

“I would highly recommend Nicole. Her and her family where so great with Lacy. She keep me updated and had Lacy outside every day wish Lacy loves. I would definitely use Nicole in the future.”

“My 4 legged member of the family had the blessing of spending the weekend with Stephanie. She kept me updated on his stay with videos and pictures. He went for walks and played in their backyard.”

“Christina and Jeremy did great with our dog. She hadn't spent a ton of time with other dogs or cats before her stay, but C and J were so confident that it would work out and it did! They were super-responsive while we were gone and sent many sweet photos :) We would absolutely have our pup stay with them again.”

“Teddy had a great stay with Kate! We loved getting photo updates, and it was such a thoughtful touch that she sent him home with his favorite toy (Patrick Star!) and a goodie bag. We’ll definitely be reaching out to Kate again in the future.”
