“Erika is an angel! First of all she agreed to care for our puppy 2 days after being spayed. Then our puppy did not do well and became ill with diarrhea and vomiting. She kept in close contact with us and continued to care for her. She had to make special food for our pup because of her diarrhea. Erika is just the sweetest person you will meet and she even washed all of the items in her kennel. We can not say enough positive things about her - if you need an angel to take care of your dog baby consider Erika!”

About: I have been a foster parent for the Humane Society for the last 3 years. I have had dogs and cats all of my life and regularly watch pets for my family and friends. I have a calm and friendly dog named Ketchup that we've had for 14 years. I also have a cat named Binx that I adopted last year from the Humane Society. Animals will stay inside the home in a calm and safe environment. They will get dedicated time and attention while they are boarded here. Animals will have playtime and dogs will go for walks. I will send pictures to their parents while they are away. I work from home so I am always available to keep your pet company while you are gone. This also allows me the time needed to check on your pet and provide bathroom breaks as needed. I can take dogs for daily walks and they will have plenty of playtime. I have a dog and cat to keep your pet company while you are away.

For Dogs, I can get along with most, although I am admittedly spooked by bigger or more aggressive dogs (Cane Corso's for reference). And as for cat's, I'm always willing to take carr of another feline friend, my closest animal companions in life have been cats! I can respect a cats boundaries very well. Notes: For dogs with Clicker training, I do own a clicker. I cannot allow other cats in my home, as one of my cats is not friendly with others. I'm typically up very early to feed my cat and spend whatever free time I have giving him attention and love while I relax. I am currently unemployed, so I can tend to pets around the clock! My yard is not fenced, I can keep a dog close if need be. I am more than willing to take pets on walks to the park, or outdoors in general. I can adapt to most any animals schedule pretty easily. My house is pretty large, so most animals will have plenty of space to roam and get comfy, and I can make accommodations for any special pet gear needed. List of tasks or care instructions would be highly appreciated, and would help me stick to a given schedule.

About: My husband and I have been watching dogs in our home for over 10 years. Our busy lives of work and family have always held us back from owning our own dog. To satisfy our love for dogs we started watching our friends and families dogs and over the years thru word of mouth we have started getting phone calls asking if we would take on more dogs and then joined Rover. Our home is your dogs home... we give the dogs full access to the house. We are non smokers and do not have any pets of our own or small children. We walk the dogs twice a day and have an acre of land that dogs are free to roam, run and play -we like to play ball and tug a rope. We do provide a ground stake with a leash for those that like to run "free". We have ability to work from home and have very flexible schedules when needed. Which in turn allows us to very rarely leave your dog home alone We treat the dogs just as if they were our very own pet.. as part of the family. They have free range of the house .. on the furniture and beds.

About: I’ve been a dog owner since 10 years old and have not gone without mans best friend since! I currently live on 23 acres in the country and long walks and chasing balls packs in most of the day with my 4 dogs Jetta, Odie, Ruby and Rowley. All dogs are dog friendly and well mannered. Graduating puppy classes to canine good citizen classes, plus dabbling in agility and herding. I currently work Weekends Friday-Sunday and my week is filled with lots of outdoor time on my hobbies farm. Lots of free time during the week helps me have fun with my animals and enjoy the sunshine. All my pets are cat and dog friendly and have full freedom of the property. New comers are always on a 12 foot leash during playtime and walks, unless E-collar trained. When first meeting owners I go over your dogs recall manners and slowly introduce them to the pack on a long property walk. About: Since I was little I have always loved animals, I feel that I have a unique connection with them. From the age of 10. In Ecuador, I was taking care of dogs. Neighbors have trusted me for the attention I gave to their pets, for playing with them, etc. But since I arrived in the United States I have not been able to continue with that hobby. When I had my dogs I took care of them every day. I gave them food in the morning and at night, I took them for walks and we played a lot with them. On weekends I washed them. Another thing I would like you to know is that my first language is Spanish, I don't speak it but I understand it a little more. I hope that's not a problem. And it would be my first time, walking dogs here in the United States I give food and water on time. I walk them, play a little and keep everything clean. I tell the owner how it goes with photos.

About: Hi! We are Kayla and Austin! My partner and I have Been around many animals especially dogs, our entire life. I (Kayla) Have my grooming license and have dog sit, helped with rescues and administration of medications, physical therapy ect. Offer enrichment and lots of space to run and play! **FYI** if anyone is uncomfortable boarding at my home because we have dogs, we are more than happy, and capable of keeping your pet completely separate while still giving them a positive experience with plenty of space and love. Update 08/13/25 Just to be EXTRA cautious, unless you request otherwise, we will be keeping our dogs separate at all times. I currently have an open schedule so will build and work around everyone as I go. Working on building a great efficient and FUN routine! I have a fully fenced in back yard to play in and lots of toys and enrichment stuff to do while here, can also bring enrichment to other homes. Also can do baths, nails, ears, brushing..anything dog, I'm in!
About: I worked for the humane society for 1 year and there I worked with a range of dogs, including pits, puppies, seniors, special needs, and ‘behavioral’ dogs. I also know training to an extent! No dog is too much for me! This is my full-time job, along with taking care of my own animals at home! I have a very flexible schedule and I am willing to work with any needs and I can do overnights. In my home, my dogs have electric collars to make sure they do not run off. I also keep an eye on them while they’re outside. They are fed on a schedule and also walked one on as well. My cats are also fed on a scheduled, daily litter box changes, and of course play time just like my dogs. In a client’s home I will do what they prefer so that they’re comfortable with me! I am responsible and respectful of others property and items, as one should be!

About: Several years of experience with out pay. I have been around pups and dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds. I am extremely great with animals. I promise to take care of your family member just as I would my own. Mine are most likely better taken care of then most people's children! I am very efficient, caring and wear my heart on my sleeve. About: I owned a dog for over a decade, and babysat dogs/ cats many times. I worked with animals at a zoo so I’m good at reading them and respecting their boundaries! I work second shift (3-11pm) M-F so check ins would work best for those days. I can still dog/cat sit during the weekdays if you’re are okay with your pets being alone for a full shift, or being watched by my parents (while pets are boarded at our house). My weekends are completely open! I have a large backyard and tennis court. I also live near a very nice bike trail for long walks. I have no other animals in the house. I have ramps for small/old dogs.

“Erika is an angel! First of all she agreed to care for our puppy 2 days after being spayed. Then our puppy did not do well and became ill with diarrhea and vomiting. She kept in close contact with us and continued to care for her. She had to make special food for our pup because of her diarrhea. Erika is just the sweetest person you will meet and she even washed all of the items in her kennel. We can not say enough positive things about her - if you need an angel to take care of your dog baby consider Erika!”

About: I've taken care of animals of all different species and sizes throughout my life, I've always found a deeper connection with animals, and the more I care for them, the more I see that. For Dogs, I can get along with most, although I am admittedly spooked by bigger or more aggressive dogs (Cane Corso's for reference). And as for cat's, I'm always willing to take carr of another feline friend, my closest animal companions in life have been cats! I can respect a cats boundaries very well. Notes: For dogs with Clicker training, I do own a clicker. I cannot allow other cats in my home, as one of my cats is not friendly with others. I'm typically up very early to feed my cat and spend whatever free time I have giving him attention and love while I relax. I am currently unemployed, so I can tend to pets around the clock! My yard is not fenced, I can keep a dog close if need be. I am more than willing to take pets on walks to the park, or outdoors in general. I can adapt to most any animals schedule pretty easily. My house is pretty large, so most animals will have plenty of space to roam and get comfy, and I can make accommodations for any special pet gear needed. List of tasks or care instructions would be highly appreciated, and would help me stick to a given schedule.

About: I’ve been a dog owner since 10 years old and have not gone without mans best friend since! I currently live on 23 acres in the country and long walks and chasing balls packs in most of the day with my 4 dogs Jetta, Odie, Ruby and Rowley. All dogs are dog friendly and well mannered. Graduating puppy classes to canine good citizen classes, plus dabbling in agility and herding. I currently work Weekends Friday-Sunday and my week is filled with lots of outdoor time on my hobbies farm. Lots of free time during the week helps me have fun with my animals and enjoy the sunshine. All my pets are cat and dog friendly and have full freedom of the property. New comers are always on a 12 foot leash during playtime and walks, unless E-collar trained. When first meeting owners I go over your dogs recall manners and slowly introduce them to the pack on a long property walk. This helps incorporate pack leadership and expelling energy at the same time.
