“We have had the same dog sitter since our 5 year old dog was born. She was unavailable for our most recent vacation, so used Rover for the first time and ended up deciding to go with Bobbi (and her family) and have our 2 doggies stay with them for our time away. We had a quick meet and greet to make sure our 2 doggies got along well with her dog, which went great. Bobbi sent reassuring messages and pictures every single day of our 12 day trip. Typically when we pick our pups up from our other sitter, particularly after a longer trip like this, they cry with joy to see us... run all over with excitement they cannot contain. This time when we picked them up, they seemed happy to see us, but not nearly as excited as usual, which to us indicated they MIGHT have preferred to just continue to hang with Bobbi and crew. It honestly couldn't have went better! We are so happy to have found Bobbi!”

“Erin was an absolutely AMAZING Rover sitter for our two cats while we were away on vacation. She sent picutures everyday and gave updates on how our cats were doing. About: Please read the entire profile. I did grow up with a Dalmatian dog. My dad was a firefighter, and came home with Pepper Christmas morning. My sister had a mini goldendoodle. I would stop daily after work around 3:45pm to play and take walks. I took a separation package from my employer 5/1/25 and now would like to offer walks, daycare, drop in visits and boarding . With boarding, For larger dogs, they WILL be crated at night. Your dog will be crated when I play pickleball in the mornings. I do have a crate(s). Please note if sending a request there may be a delay in responding due to pickleball between 9:30 - 12:30 approximate times. I currently have two dog walking appointments from 11:45am -1:45pm Monday-Thursday. Having retired 5/1/25, I have the time to provide loving care, playtime and walks with your pet. About: Friends, families, and neighbors have relied on me to dog sit, dog walk, and do potty breaks for them for over 10 years now! I love all breeds and ages of dogs! Growing up I’ve always been around dogs, I have a very flexible schedule which allows me to to find and make the needed time for your pets! “We have had the same dog sitter since our 5 year old dog was born. She was unavailable for our most recent vacation, so used Rover for the first time and ended up deciding to go with Bobbi (and her family) and have our 2 doggies stay with them for our time away. We had a quick meet and greet to make sure our 2 doggies got along well with her dog, which went great. Bobbi sent reassuring messages and pictures every single day of our 12 day trip. Typically when we pick our pups up from our other sitter, particularly after a longer trip like this, they cry with joy to see us... run all over with excitement they cannot contain. This time when we picked them up, they seemed happy to see us, but not nearly as excited as usual, which to us indicated they MIGHT have preferred to just continue to hang with Bobbi and crew. It honestly couldn't have went better! We are so happy to have found Bobbi!”

“For a recent week - long vacation, we left our 3 year old golden doodle with Jeff. This was our first time using Rover and leaving her in someone else's home. After an initial meet and greet, we felt very comfortable with Jeff and Ember loved his fenced in yard. We liked the photo and written updates we received while vacationing. Jeff provided daily walks and outside time. He respected Ember's schedule and tried to maintain her schedule. In addition to our toys and treats, he also provided some. We will definitely use Jeff's boarding for future get aways.”

We left our sweet Piper with Krystal for a week and Piper seemed to adjust well and was in good spirits when we picked her up. I think she even missed Krystal and Duke for a day or so after we returned home! Krystal kept us abreast of how Piper was doing and was responsive to our questions. I was amazed by how unfazed she was by the cold, wet weather that hung over the Fox Valley the week we were away; seemingly taking the additional 4 muddy paws in stride! “What can I say? Melissa was amazing. Needed a sitter for our Weimaraner at the last minute. Needed to leave town for family reasons. Called the usual suspects. They gave me the dog and pony show. No pun. Ridiculous what you got to go through to board your dog these days. A few of my friends and customers recommended Rover. I went on there and checked it out. In about 30 minutes from first seeing it, to signing up, I had already booked Melissa to watch our dog Kaiser. I arranged to bring him over, and she couldn't have been any more sweet. I can really tell that she loves animals. Very cool chick too. Our dog was in good hands the couple days he was there. When we got him back, he was well rested, and had none of the anxiety boarding can bring on. It's great to know I have someone that I can rely on if we leave town for any reason to watch after our pooch. I couldn't recommend her anymore. Thank you!”
