About: My family and I had a dog of our own for about 13 years during my childhood, allowing me to gain experience in feeding, training, and walking dogs. Now that she has sadly passed away, I would love to give other pets the same love I am no longer able to give to my own pet. I currently work part-time and have plenty of time to smother your pets with my love! Late mornings and early afternoons are the times that typically work best for me, but I am flexible and willing to try anything! I will only allow pets that are fine being outside because my house does not allow pets indoors. I have a large yard surrounded by fields in a rural area where pets are free to roam in sight as long as they’re well-trained.

We do have XL crates available to keep them safe if they have a short time alone due to an emergency. Guests have the privilege of supervised, free-roaming access to the dog-friendly/dog-proofed main level of the house. We can separate dogs if necessary with walk-through gates. This is something we do during meet and greets, but rarely during an actual stay. I can accommodate eating preferences. Water is available in multiple rooms. In college I decided to get a kitten to keep me company and she has been all over with me including moving 5 times, she is a sassy calico and is about to turn 12. Recently I adopted a kitten, a gift to myself for completing my masters. I am available for boarding weekends and week days. I live apartment life on the ground floor. This would be a way to get some time with pets and exercise for me while making some money on the side.
About: Friends, families, and neighbors have relied on me to dog sit, dog walk, and do potty breaks for them for over 10 years now! I love all breeds and ages of dogs! Growing up I’ve always been around dogs, I have a very flexible schedule which allows me to to find and make the needed time for your pets! I prefer to care for pets outside of my own home as I have two dogs of my own at home! I am very flexible with meeting the needs to take care of your dog!

“For a recent week - long vacation, we left our 3 year old golden doodle with Jeff. This was our first time using Rover and leaving her in someone else's home. After an initial meet and greet, we felt very comfortable with Jeff and Ember loved his fenced in yard. We liked the photo and written updates we received while vacationing. Jeff provided daily walks and outside time. He respected Ember's schedule and tried to maintain her schedule. In addition to our toys and treats, he also provided some. We will definitely use Jeff's boarding for future get aways.”
“I would definitely recommend Todd as a sitter! He took my dog for walks and she enjoyed playing in their fenced yard. My dog had an operation recently and was still on antibiotics every 12 hours. Todd made sure she got her medicine on time and texted me after each dose to let me know she got it. He also sent pictures and kept me updated with how she was settling in. Very happy with her stay with Todd and his family.”

“Krystal's love of dogs is evident and her current bestie, Duke, was a welcoming partner! We left our sweet Piper with Krystal for a week and Piper seemed to adjust well and was in good spirits when we picked her up. I think she even missed Krystal and Duke for a day or so after we returned home! Krystal kept us abreast of how Piper was doing and was responsive to our questions. I was amazed by how unfazed she was by the cold, wet weather that hung over the Fox Valley the week we were away; seemingly taking the additional 4 muddy paws in stride! We would happily re-book with Krystal the next time we need to leave town.”
