I am a foster parent for many different rescues in the area including Cocos Heart, Across America Boxer Rescue and Rejection Collection Boxer Rescue. I have fostered everything from 10 week old puppies (yes I have the chew marks on my couch to prove it) to the unforgettable seniors! My home is full of dog beds, treats and all the loving they could ever want. I have a privacy fenced in backyard and provide kennels as well for safe spaces too. I would love to cuddle your fur baby while you are away. I will be returning to the office here in January but I can offer a safe space via kennel or pen while I’m at work (no longer than 8 hours). I do have some hybrid days that I may be home to give extra cuddles. When I’m not working, I’m home. While home, treats, loves, pets, outside time are in the agenda. When I am not home safe space kennel time with soothing music until I return will play. My privacy fence covers 90% of my yard with a fenced gate covering the other 10%. Your fur baby will not be outside unattended however. I also have a boxer that if they get along they are welcomed to play together, however if they don’t get along no worries! Being a foster parent I know how to split my house and time between to babies. I also have cameras set up so I can keep an eye on the babies at all times. Your fur baby will be treated like royalty when they are staying here.

About: I have never not had a dog…or multiple!😊 I’ve grown up with Labrador Retrievers. With that being said, I can handle the chewing, the energy, the hours of stimulation, and the endless snuggles! I have raised multiple puppies into adulthood, with two currently being my own! From potty training to tricks, to walking on a leash, I have done it all! I also have had family dogs that’s we have had until 12-14 years old that have required special needs due to age. I am a nurse who once wanted to become a vet so I am super flexible from an experience standpoint!😊 I am a night shift nurse who works just a couple days a week! With that being said, my schedule is flexible and I’m almost always home! We are extremely active people who go on multiple walks a day, and I typically run a couple miles a week as well! Weather permitting, we are outside 95% of the time. My dogs are always enjoying the sun on our large deck that overlooks our woods, outside running in the woods, or playing fetch in the yard. We have 2 young and friendly labradors who love to play and meet new friends! We own 2 acres, half of it being woods with trails! This would be for the guests who have a great recall or have halo collars😊 For the ones who struggle a little more with recall, we have a 3 car garage with a doggy door to go in and out of a fenced in area (in pictures)! Also a large deck to catch some rays on, as well as plenty and plenty of walks! I want your pup(s) to feel as comfortable as possible and never want to leave😊 I am extremely flexible and want to stick to their routine as much as possible!
About: I’ve worked with dogs and cats in many different ways. I have owned dogs my entire life, plus a few cats. I volunteer at the Humane Society in Kansas City while at school where I work directly with the shelter dogs. I have house sat for multiple family friends and am ready to take on new pups and cats! “Casandra is so great with our pups. She has taken care of our elder bichon and our puppy and now teenaged cavapoo. The dogs love her and her family and they take such great care with them. She and her family spend lots of time outdoors and playing with the pups and snuggling too. They always come home happily worn out. Cannot recommend enough!”
“I used Patrick and Patricia for the first time boarding my 80 lb lab and they did an awesome job. Maggie seemed very happy during her first meeting with them and had no qualms being with them for several days. Patrick and Patricia asked many questions to make sure they understood any issues surrounding my dog. They really cared about her. They sent several pictures and a video of her stay. I have another visit scheduled for her in August and Maggie will be excited to go back and I don’t have to worry about her at all. Maggie will be in great care. “Dogs really enjoy themselves here! It’s an open, welcoming atmosphere where dogs can play and socialize with the other pups. I love a good environment that’s comfortable for both dogs and children, and this place fits right in. They have a big backyard for the dogs to run and burn off energy, and overall it seemed like a perfect fit for ours. They’re also very communicative and send pictures, which I really appreciate.
