About: Growing up, my mom was the Eau Claire County Humane Officer, FEMA Animal Emergency Management volunteer coordinator, and general manager of the Chippewa County Humane Association. Throughout my childhood I helped care for thousands of dogs, cat, rabbits, and even a handful of lizards and snakes. I am well versed in animal behavior, safety, and empathy! I am new to the world of personalized in home care, but hope to gain your trust and grow my experience. I am a homeschooling mom of one 6 year old (who LOVES dogs!) and our schedule is very flexible. We have a 3 year old animal friendly Australian Shepherd who we walk daily within our neighborhood, on the interurban trail (5 minute walk away) and run off lease on the beach when there's no one around! My 6 year old is very animal empathetic, and is always learning behavior and cues from our own Aussie. Having a high energy household, I understand the importance of plenty of time spent outside. We live in a large, upper, 2 bedroom apartment and can easily accommodate temporary space for one or two more pets (of the same family). We have a park with an open field for playing ball, and the interurban trail are both a short walk away. We have plenty of green space around our building for shorter potty breaks. I have a large Ruffland crate available for your pets use.

If visits are needed during the weekend and/or when school is off my three children will likely be joining me to help. About: Ever since I was little I've always loved dogs! Growing up there were always dogs around and it was so much fun. Fast forward-I am a stay at home mom but was previously a nanny and some of the families had 1 or 2 dogs that I loved playing with, taking on walks, and snuggling. I would stay for 1-2 weeks throughout the year at their house watching their dogs while they were on vacation. From playing fetch, back scratches to belly rubs, breakfast and dinner, and all of the in betweens you'll know your dog(s) is/are in great hands! About: Hi! Im Sydney and Ive owned pets basically my entire life. When I was younger I grew up with 4 cats and a black lab (which I owned since she was a puppy). I also owned guinea pigs for a few years. Currently, I own a border collie mix that we adopted from the Washington County humane society. Pet care is currently a big focus so I have a lot of flexibility! However my schedule currently doesn't work as well for long term repeat bookings. Longer house sits (7+) days might be a bit more difficult as well but I try my best to make it work! Safety is very important for me (knowing warning signs of issues like GDV, making sure hazardous items are put away, etc). Regular updates - such as pictures of walks and playtime activities - will be given frequently. I will work hard to maintain your pets typical routine by following any given instructions closely. I'm also someone who likes to do research about different breeds. Each breed is different so I like to be prepared on how each breed can act and what their needs might be. My end goal will always be to ensure both you and your pet are comfortable as I care for them

I work full time, 2-11pm, and I get an hour and 15 minute lunch break, so I can always let dogs out on my lunch break if needed! I have off every Saturday and Tuesday as well, so I’m free those days! My dog normally just roams the house while we are gone. When I let her outside she gets put on a leash. We do let her free roam with a shock collar on when we play ball though. However, I am willing to do whatever fits your routine and whatever your dog is comfortable with! If a crate works best for them, or if they get let out in a fenced yard, then that’s what we will do! “Very good walker, Was willing to come to my location to meet the dogs before hand and I was able to give her instructions. She left the dog poop in a bag on my front door step when there are garbage in the front of the property. That is only reason I'm giving her 4 stars. Otherwise I am very happy with how she did.”

About: I have been around animals, my whole life it doesn’t matter if it’s my pets, my friends, pets or even my families pets. I have had rabbits, fish, cats, and dogs. When I was first born and at a very young age, my parents had a cat named Misty. Misty was a farm cat, and I learned at the young age of how to take care of a pet and a cat. It didn’t matter if it was giving the cat exercise, feeding the cat, giving it water or even cleaning out the litter pan. I also at a young age at around eight learned how to take care of a dog as my family got a golden retriever. We got this golden retriever named Sam from Humane Society, and Sam was an older dog about eight years old. I learned how to take care of an older dog, feeding it, giving exercise and water, and of course playing fetch, because what golden retriever doesn’t like fetch. After these animals, I got a Maine Coon cat named Cowboy. Again I learned how to take care of Cowboy by feeding Cowboy, giving Cowboy water and emptying the litter pan along with playing with Cowboy. Cowboy was a bit younger when I got him and was about eight months old. After cowboy, I was Lucky enough to get a black lab as a puppy, named Lucky. I named Lucky Lucky because what dog is not lucky to have me as their owner to take them on runs! Lucky was about four months old and again a potty trained Lucky, took Lucky to training classes and also trained Lucky on my own at home helping Lucky to learn to sit stay and play. After Lucky I got a rescue dog named Dyno, Dyno was a rescue dog from a high kill shelter in Alabama and when I did a DNA test on Dyno, Dyno came out to be a black lab pointer mix with a little bit of terrier and boxer in her as well. Dyno was approximately four months old as well when I got her. I helped Dyno learn to be potty trained took her to training classes and train her at my house as well. I helped Dyno to learn, sit and stay, and also place along with playing dead. I recently just moved out of my house, and unfortunately Dyno had to stay with my parents, because Dyno doesn’t get along with other dogs as well. I did have to be very cognizant, while I took care of Dyno, to make sure Dyno did not injure or hurt other dogs, and keep Dyno safe as well, so I’m very good at making sure and keeping track of dogs when they’re along with other dogs so that they don’t fight. I am smart and know the signs dogs have if they are nervous, worried, or scarred. I moved in with my fiancé, who has a seven year-old golden retriever named Molly, and I am currently taking care of Molly. Molly is an unbelievable golden retriever dog, loves to go for runs and play fetch. In my professional life, I am a police officer, so not only do I take care of animals in my personal life, but also in my professional life when they are lost, and I need to get them back to the owner, or even dropping them off at the Humane Society so they are safe. I actually found a kitten and was able to get the kitten to come to me so that it did not freeze to death in the woods and get it to a business near the Snowmobile Trail so that it could be returned to the Humane Society to stay safe . Based off of my schedule in my professional life of being a police officer, I have many days off during the week. So if you’re at work and need your furry friends to be let outside, I am the perfect person. As I have many off days on Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday while others are working. I can explain my schedule better however here is a break down. Week one. I work Monday Tuesday Friday Saturday Sunday. I am off Wednesday and Thursday Week two. I only work Wednesday and Thursday off the rest of the week. Even if you are home and you’re an individual that doesn’t like to go for runs or walk or are older, I could take care of your animal and let them out take them for a walk or run while you were at home as well, just to get them exercise, I would be happy to do that because then I get my exercise as well. On the weekends, I would be available most all the time as well, unless I am busy, but I would do drop in short notice type calls as well! With me working in the school during the school year, I have off days during the school year that your kids are off as well. So spring break I am open all day, or just even random days during the week they are off as well. So please keep that in mind. In the summer I am free at 2pm to let your dog outside. My schedule just changed and I work night shift. So I am available anytime during the day as long as I’m not sleeping. The days I work stays the same regarding off days and not. Right now I am not planning on having dogs or cats stay at my house with my dog Molly, so this is not something you need to worry about however, if I’m walking or taking your dog for a run, I would make sure to bring my light up light collar for your dog so that your dog is safe whether it’s dark out. If you have one I would use yours. This will make sure your dog has your collar on with its leash and keep your dog or cat safe.

I am highly confident and experienced in feeding, medicating, walking, taking out to potty, cleaning after, and loving all sizes and breeds of dogs. I have full availability during the summer (with some expections due to travel) to accommodate your pets needs! I have experience with all different pet personalities and requirements to keep their lives running smoothly. I am able to watch over them with any specifics you may need (crating, special toys they may need for emotional support, supervising puzzles and treats, on leash only animals, animals that resource guard, animals who only enjoy the company of humans, etc.)
