About: I've had a fun-filled house with dogs and cats since I was in elementary school. I've worked professionally with pets as well, such as pet dental hygienist assistant, pet store associate and birthday party tour guide, and Chewy supervisor. I'm currently looking for opportunities to help out with pets of all sizes, ages, and abilities. I'm able to provide care to your fur baby all day. I can also devote nights and weekends to them! I had a beloved toy poodle named Seven for 15 years, who was truly the best dog and a cherished member of our family. I’m a full-time mom, and when my son (9) and daughter (7) are in school, I have plenty of free time to care for pets—playing with them, feeding them, and giving them all the attention they need. About: I'm currently in a pet-free home with my kiddos and have lived with dogs for much of my adult life. I'm a massage therapist and love giving pups a little TLC with energy therapy and light massage. They love it! The dog you see in my thumbnail photo is KC. She was a rescue dog who was with us for six years and needed lots of training, support and care. Please note I take 3 walking clients per day but only 1 boarder at a time. I teach at a technical college and am a personal trainer, working part-time from home and part-time out of the home. I'm often home for long hours during the day. My three kids are in public school, so dogs may have 1 to 4 dog-lovers in the home after 4pm. I offer long walks on sidewalks or trails if preferred, treats, water, lots of play and unlimited petting! I offer care in my home and dog walking. I am working from home so most of my time will be caring for your fur baby. Daycare drop-off no earlier than 6:00 am and pick-up hours anytime in the afternoon. We have a large fenced backyard and our two dogs, Maggie (Pug) and Lyka (Boston Terrier) are very good with all dogs. They love to play and will keep your fur baby company during their stay. My work schedule during the week I typical work 8-9 hours a day and on the weekends I work I typically work 10-11 hours days. Even with working if the pet requires walks I will make sure they are getting the exercise they need before and after work regardless of the time. I am a very trustworthy pet sitter I have clients that are okay with friends or significant others coming over and I have others who are not, either way I fully respect that clients choice. I always make sure to clean up after myself and make sure the house is clean before leaving. When it comes to the animal I will not push the animal to do anything it does not want to do like going for a car ride, or anything else that may make the pet nervous. I do like to meet the animal and pet parents before hand just to make sure we have a good connection and trust.

“David was/is amazing! Why? He was responsive and accommodating. His extensive knowledge of dogs was clear when we met him - we knew our pups were in good hands. We received daily updates and in each photo the dogs looked like they were having the time of their lives and/or taking a nap on David’s lap 😂. We live downtown Madison and I could tell our pups enjoyed the beautiful country property as they came back tired and content! As a former Rover, I would highly recommend David to anyone looking for a sitter. 10/10!!”

“I was very nervous to leave my dog Bailey. 1. I had never left her and 2.She had a small issue with her paw just before my vacation. When informing him about the issues and the shedding problem , there were no hesitations on what needs to be done to keep up with the grooming. You should have no worries when you hire this person. The communication, the pictures,the condition of my dogand the level of care were outstanding. I was very lucky to find somebody on short notice and appreciate the sensitivity and kindness. Thank you, Shawn, for all your help and for making Bailey such a happy girl for the days I was gone.”
