I quickly messaged Princesa - as this was the day we were to leave for the long memorial weekend - and she responded almost instantly! About: I have always had pets while growing up. Rabbits, dogs, cats, calves. My family lived on a farm in my younger years and I absolutely loved the animals we had and loved caring for them. I do drop in visits to care for some of my friend's animals and I also walk dogs,play with them and keep them company while their owner's are at work. My pet's have always been considered my kids and I take the utmost care for friend's,family and customer's pets--as if they were my own. Animals seem to warm up to me right away. I look forward to meeting your pets and making a great relationship with them. I am on Social Security Disability so I am unable to work. I am disabled due to neck surgeries/pain but caring for animal's does not not interfere with my pain. It's very therapeutic for me to be around animals. I am the type to keep my dogs active whether it be playing fetch in the yard or throwing the stick in the lake for them to fetch. I believe in lots of play toys and chewys so they never get bored. I also understand the dog who might be more calm, maybe a little shy and likes time alone, and that is very understandable. I am a retired nurse and know pretty well the signs and symptoms of pain or discomfort. I understand the importance of proper nutrition and availability of fresh water. I lost my 14 yr. old lab to old age 2 years ago, and just recently got a new yellow lab puppy here in March. I really missed having a travel companion! I'm a unique pet/house sitter in that I travel in my beautiful Canadian Roadtrek Campervan and can house "watch" while taking care of your pets. I do not need to stay in your home. Any additional duties other than "watch" your house can be negotiated- like water a few houseplants, etc. I do ask that you provide a household electric (120V) outside plug in. My small RV uses approx. $2-$3 per day of electricity. I love animals. I have a 3 yr. old yellow Labrador myself! I travel often in my RV and we make great travel partners often stopping at dog parks 2-3 times a day on our adventures. Beau would love to have playmates! Currently I am mobile in the Western AZ / Southeastern CA area. I will come to you. I can stay as long as you need for your pet care - up to 2+ weeks if needed. I can only provide mobile pet/house sitting. I am unable to pet sit in the home I live in. I am a recently retired nurse. I am trained not only in human CPR, but I also have dog and cat CPR training. I have given pets medication, induced vomiting -per instructions while on the phone with a vet tech (after dog ate 1 1/2 lbs of bing cherries - pits and all. Happy ending! :). When I go into a home I find myself scanning countertops and floors for potential hazards for pets - things like medications, foods, hot boiling water on stovetop with handles pointing out, etc... I am constantly monitoring for potential dangers. Sometimes things happen though, unfortunately, that can't be avoided and that's when first aid, CPR, poison control line, and Vet info need to all be available and handy. I ask that all instructions be written down and text/emailed to me 24 hours prior. That way if I have any questions, they can be answered before you leave on your relaxing worry-free vacation!

About: I just recently had to put my 14.5 year old Yorkie Poo to rest. I miss having a buddy at my house but not ready to take on another animal full time yet. I supported my dog through pancreatitis, congestive heart failure and other health considerations. We had him since he was a couple months old until his golden years. I work at a dog kennel everyday and help take care of lab puppies from birth- 8 weeks old I have a fenced in yard and a very friendly pitbull/bulldog mix that loves to play and meet new friends and would love to keep your dog company
About: I have lived with dogs since childhood. I have had several dogs of my own, currently I have two Border Collies, one is a tripod. I am currently not working so I am available 7 days a week. I expect that will change and I will update my schedule then. I offer safety and trust to you and your animals. I am available to let them out, take them for walks, give meds, snuggles and playtime up to 3 times per day.
About: I am 31 years old and have taken care of pets for as long as two months to weekends. I have spent the most time with dogs of varying sizes as well as cats. I usually watch pets in the summer when I am not working as a teacher. The most pets I have done at a time is four, two dogs, a cat and duck for two months. I have summers off as a teacher! I end my days at 2:30pm and am single and available to help out most weekends as well! I am very attentive to keeping a house tidy and providing quality care to animals. I have to members of my family who are vets and am saving money to be a pet owner myself. I will not care for animals in my home at this time. I am very active outdoorsy person and love to walk with dogs. I do not drink or smoke and am excited to provide a great experience for a family or individual!

My partner Andrew and I share a true love of animals, as well as traveling, and over the past 11 years we have offered our services as pet sitters and care-givers as a way to pursue 2 passions at once! We like to see it as a win-win for us and you, as we have used this platform and others as a way to both earn, and save money, while having meaningful experiences along the way. Having both grown up with animals and then having our own, as well as both being the eldest sibling of large families, has given us a lot of genuine experience. “Wow!! We had a boarding set up with another Rover family but unfortunately - it was not going to be a good fit. I quickly messaged Princesa - as this was the day we were to leave for the long memorial weekend - and she responded almost instantly! They were Incredibly flexible offering to meet for public pick up on our way out of town or bring her to their home based on our needs. Our pup had an AMAZING time and we were updated with pictures and texts daily. We were able to enjoy our holiday weekend with our minds at ease knowing our pup was well taken care of!!!!
