About: Friendly, warm, and welcoming. I have plenty of indoor and outdoor space to roam in my home plus a fenced in backyard. I've had dogs in the home since I was child and have been caring full-time for my dog for 7 years. I have previous experience with in-home boarding for some of my co-workers and have cared for dogs with nervous bladders. I currently work full time, but am always home in the evenings for plenty of playtime and walks. I can be flexible with pick up and drop off times with at least a day's notice to work with your schedule. I have a fenced in yard and plenty of space to roam inside my home. Dogs are welcome on the furniture or in bed if they need some extra cuddle time. I can crate your dogs if needed during the day and my own pup is crate trained for while I'm away.

About: I've cared for cats and dogs my own as well as other owners, for the last 20-plus years I also have experience with other kinds of animals. I protect animals fiercely and I am extremely receptive of detail and specifics that any pet owner may have for me. I have varied availability throughout the week and weekend. I recently moved to a large property in the country, that is a short 35 minute drive from Madisons west side. I have a acer that is completely fenced in and I am more than happy to offer pick up and drop off to the west side of Madison. I work full-time from home, which allows me to provide pets with consistent attention, supervision, playtime, and care throughout the day. My schedule is structured yet flexible, making it easy to incorporate walks, feeding routines, potty breaks, enrichment activities, and plenty of cuddles without rushing. I live in a very dog-friendly apartment community that features an on-site dog park and numerous walking paths, giving dogs plenty of opportunities for exercise, exploration, and fresh air. I'm also usually available on weekends, allowing for extra companionship and one-on-one attention. I keep my calendar updated every 1–2 days and may have availability even when my calendar appears full, so please feel free to reach out. I currently offer overnight house sitting, typically from approximately 7:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m., when many pets appreciate the comfort of having someone with them overnight. During the day, I may have other work or personal commitments depending on the booking, but I always communicate my schedule in advance so expectations are clear. I strive to keep pets on their normal routines for meals, potty breaks, playtime, medications, and companionship while respecting the schedule that works best for each household. I understand how important consistency is for animals, especially seniors or pets with medical needs, and I do my best to minimize disruptions to their daily routine. I am able to pick up your animal and drop them off for an additional fee ($10 / day). When caring for pets in a client's home, my priority is maintaining the environment and routines they already know. I carefully follow your instructions for feeding, medications, walks, exercise, household rules, and any special care your pet requires. I take time to build trust with each animal, allowing shy or anxious pets to become comfortable at their own pace. Safety is extremely important to me. I pay close attention during walks, keep doors and gates secure, monitor pets for changes in behavior or health, and never hesitate to contact an owner if I have a question or concern. I also treat every home with the same respect I would expect someone to show mine, keeping it clean, secure, and well cared for during your absence. Communication is a key part of my service. You can expect regular updates and photos so you know how your pets are doing and can have peace of mind while you're away.
