Safety is my top priority (with fun being close behind) I will tailor each visit to the individual pet depending on their needs and personality. I run with my dog Daisy 4-6 miles a day and would love to adventure with yours! I can’t wait to meet you and your pet! Beginning in the Fall I will be available every Wednesday & Thursday morning for walks/jogs. As of now I am available for boardings anytime. For walks and jogs I am currently available at various times throughout the week. We are diligent about keeping our doors shut for our pets safety. About: I’ve started at an early age training blue heelers. I retired my service dog two years ago. She is personally trained of off leash hiking. I have two cats. One loves hiking and biking with me. The other enjoys home activities and cuddles. No matter what your fur babies enjoy I can adapt. They enjoy walks and hikes, or they enjoy a good nap with some good home play I don’t mind. I will send the cutest pics and videos if you enjoy updates. I work Monday through Friday. Six am to two pm. I can take off lunch for potty and play time. Before work we can walk/eat/potty same with after. What ever the diet, exercise, or routine is I will continue them as requested. I understand how important diet, medication and routine is for our fur babies.

Usually, I'm gone for a couple weeks at a time and find live-in sitters through Trusted Housesitters. My two cats are indoor outdoor, and that complicates their care. For my three day leave, my neighbor came over in the morning to put down their morning kibble and let the cats outside. Virginia came over in the late afternoon on her way to pick up her kids from school. She would call them inside for the night and put down their wet food. I wasn't sure it would work since they don't always come inside when I call them in the evening. Virginia sent me pictures each day of the cats inside during her 30 minute visit, so I was reassured. I will definitely look for Virginia again if I need to be gone for a few days.”

About: I have been around animals my whole life. I have been taking care/riding horses since I was 3, have 2 dogs (senior & adult), and I have my own leopard gecko! Animals tend to find my calm and collected demeanor comforting. I am a 2026 graduate and this summer I am working part time at Nonna Luisa’s in downtown Anacortes. I don’t start work until 4 and tend to have all of the morning to myself, so why not fill it with animals! I would create a personal pet plan with the owner to fulfill the pets needs. This could be walking, letting them out, or just keeping them company!

We needed a sitter of our dog while we went out on a boat tour for several hours necessary because we were visiting from a community a few hours distant. About: We have raised many dogs and treat them as family. We have worked with puppies and senior dogs and everything in between. We are familiar with providing meds as needed as well. I work full time in Construction Management but I am currently working from home a few days a week and open weekends for ample time to spend with your pups. We also host a Sniffspot private dog park for rent out on our property that we can take walks on in between bookings and live right down from Little Mountain Park for hiking or walking along the trails. We also live conveniently located 3 miles from I-5 for quick drop off and pickup off the freeway. I am available on all days of the week for boarding depending on the dog and owner with a meet and greet as I will be at the office Monday - Wednesday from 0730-400 and the dog would be with my at my office which sits on multiple acres with walks every 2 hours. Whether that’s walking, playing, feeding, companionship, bathing , etc. I have been caring for pets since I was a youth. Whether that was neighborhood pets, friends pets or family pet. I have experience with a wide range of ages & sizes. I used to live out on a farm for several years and care for kittens, chickens, goats, pigs, and dogs. I helped take care of newborn kittens, feed and foster trust with them. Regularly cleaning the chicken coop, feeding them, collecting eggs and just hanging out with them. I would feed, brush and hang out with the goats also clean out pen. I raised a pig for 4H feeding, caring, and spending lots of quality time with him. And then of course dogs, I spent a good amount of years caring for two labs. Running them, washing them, cleaning up their dog house, feeding them. Snuggles and cuddles of course. I have notoriously always had an orange cat in my life; however living on the farm had about 6-7 cats I cared for. Them being farm cats mostly wanting to be fed and hung out with me in the grass or came by for pets. Neighborhood cats would get pregnant leading me to foster relationships with their kittens, a lot of times rescuing them, cleaning them up and bringing them back to wellness then re-homing them. Overall, I’d love to play & care for your pet as you see fit! Ideally I’d prefer a meet & greet prior to care. I have a very open and flexible schedule; morning's, afternoons and most evenings I should be around. My work schedule is currently evenings Sunday through Tuesday. I make sure pets are fed on time always have water and are let out whenever needed. I also make sure cat’s litter boxes are well maintained.

My times are very flexible and have often done combo stays- where your dog stays the night with me and I drive it to your home during the day and pick up again in the evening. This works well for senior dogs or puppies who need monitoring over night.
About: I’ve been around all animals almost all my life and have always had the biggest love for them. I have also worked at veterinary offices and love almost every part of it :) I am currently doing online courses for school at skagit valley college and have an open schedule to help out with any type of animal care :) I have a fully fenced back yard that dogs would love and hardwood floors inside my house for when they are inside. I am fully capable of taking care of the animals however wanted :)

About: **Due to a new furry addition, I am currently unable to board dogs in my home.
