About: I grew up taking care of the 2 dogs in my household, as well as my grandmother and neighbor's pets while they were away from home. I've been caring for dogs at all stages of their life, from puppies all the way up to senior dogs. (My girl is now 7, and I had a senior dog that recently passed away.) My grandmother and dad also had many cats, so I’m also very comfortable with them and love them to death. I would often volunteer at the animal shelter back home on the weekends and I have had a lot of experience working with not only with smaller pets, but with larger animals as well. I spent a summer volunteering at a barn taking care of the horses there. I'm in the Navy and work evenings, so I have a bunch of free-time in the morning on weekdays and all day during weekends to take care of your pets. Hours sometimes get switched around, but I’ll always be able to make time for your furry friend(s). I'm very attentive to a pet's needs, and will provide them top-notch care. Usually, I'm gone for a couple weeks at a time and find live-in sitters through Trusted Housesitters. My two cats are indoor outdoor, and that complicates their care. For my three day leave, my neighbor came over in the morning to put down their morning kibble and let the cats outside. Virginia came over in the late afternoon on her way to pick up her kids from school. She would call them inside for the night and put down their wet food. I wasn't sure it would work since they don't always come inside when I call them in the evening. Virginia sent me pictures each day of the cats inside during her 30 minute visit, so I was reassured. I will definitely look for Virginia again if I need to be gone for a few days.”

I currently have a 2 year old Aussie/heeler mix. She has high energy so I’m used to taking her on walks or playing with her outside. We also love to go to the dog park to get energy out. About: I’ve started at an early age training blue heelers. I retired my service dog two years ago. She is personally trained of off leash hiking. I have two cats. One loves hiking and biking with me. The other enjoys home activities and cuddles. No matter what your fur babies enjoy I can adapt. They enjoy walks and hikes, or they enjoy a good nap with some good home play I don’t mind. I will send the cutest pics and videos if you enjoy updates. I work Monday through Friday. Six am to two pm. I can take off lunch for potty and play time.
