“Virginia was my first Rover sitter, and I was very pleased with her service. I don't go away very often for just a dew days. Usually, I'm gone for a couple weeks at a time and find live-in sitters through Trusted Housesitters. My two cats are indoor outdoor, and that complicates their care. For my three day leave, my neighbor came over in the morning to put down their morning kibble and let the cats outside. Virginia came over in the late afternoon on her way to pick up her kids from school. She would call them inside for the night and put down their wet food. I wasn't sure it would work since they don't always come inside when I call them in the evening. Virginia sent me pictures each day of the cats inside during her 30 minute visit, so I was reassured. I will definitely look for Virginia again if I need to be gone for a few days.”

About: I have been around animals my whole life. I have been taking care/riding horses since I was 3, have 2 dogs (senior & adult), and I have my own leopard gecko! Animals tend to find my calm and collected demeanor comforting. I am a 2026 graduate and this summer I am working part time at Nonna Luisa’s in downtown Anacortes. I don’t start work until 4 and tend to have all of the morning to myself, so why not fill it with animals! I would create a personal pet plan with the owner to fulfill the pets needs. This could be walking, letting them out, or just keeping them company!

About: We have raised many dogs and treat them as family. We have worked with puppies and senior dogs and everything in between. We are familiar with providing meds as needed as well. I work full time in Construction Management but I am currently working from home a few days a week and open weekends for ample time to spend with your pups. We also host a Sniffspot private dog park for rent out on our property that we can take walks on in between bookings and live right down from Little Mountain Park for hiking or walking along the trails. We also live conveniently located 3 miles from I-5 for quick drop off and pickup off the freeway. About: **Due to a new furry addition, I am currently unable to board dogs in my home. I have worked in veterinary clinics in the past for 6 years before I changed careers and would really love the chance to take care of your baby while you’re away! If you have any questions in particular please feel free to contact me! I am available most days of the week and weekends. I have worked with dogs for over 10 years and can read them very well. I have patience with puppies and I also have experience with senior and special needs dogs to include administering medications by mouth or subcutaneously. “Sheena took great care of our 4-month old puppy and 4-year old Moodle. We did a meet and greet and our nervous puppy liked her immediately. During our trip, we got pictures and updates whenever we asked for them as Sheena responded quickly. When we picked them up, we got a full report of everything they did with a wonderful update on eating, playing, pooping, etc. Sheena is very experienced and provided dog and child socialization for our puppy in a safe and structured environment. The pups came home tired, well-behaved, and very happy. As a bonus, we paid Sheena to do a little nail trimming since she is a professional groomer as well. Highly recommend Sheena and we will certainly be back!”
