“Rachel was able to watch Aspen for a last-minute booking when prior care fell through. As he is newly adopted, a puppy (at 7 mos), was abused in his very early puppyhood, and suffers some ongoing anxiety, to say I was nervous about how he was going to do was an understatement. Upon meeting Rachel at the meet & greet, I was instantly at ease. She has a calm and soothing demeanor, and was such a perfect fit for him, that I could not believe our luck. It felt like the universe conspired to make sure SHE would be his first sitter, so he can continue to learn that the world has many kind and loving people in it. Rachel was a proactive communicator, sharing pictures and updates, sometimes almost at the exact moment I found myself thinking, "I wonder what they're up to?" I was able to relax and put my focus where it needed to be: with my extended family for my mom's memorial service. I cannot express what a gift it was to not have to worry about this sweet little guy for my first time away from him. As I look ahead to future travel, I'll check in with Rachel first.”

About: Right now, I have 2 pets in my life. My parent's dog Ada, a 6 year old mutt who loves to cuddle, and my cat, Morgana, a 4 year old tuxedo who loves to play! I grew up with dogs and I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, dogs with cancer and other illnesses, and helped a dog through a seizure. I also have volunteered at an animal shelter (Homeward Pets) and spent time with dogs of many different ages, sizes, temperaments, and medical needs. During this time I fed the dogs, cleaned their kennels, bathed them, and played with them. I have also lived with two cats of very different personalities so I also have experience feeding & playing with cats of different ages and temperaments. I recently graduated from the University of Washington with my Master's in Museum Studies. As I'm trying to get a job, I'm looking for ways to increase my part-time income. I think it’s important to keep things as much the same as possible for your pets in order to decrease stress so I will always follow any house rules. If that means no dogs on the couch, then no dogs on the couch. Or not feeding them human food, I’ll make sure they only get their food no matter how cute they’re looking! I will also make sure I spend no less than 2 hours at an owner’s home playing with your animals where all my attention is on them. I do know pet-related first aid and dog CPR although I’ve luckily never had to use it. I will make sure to give regular updates to the owner and contact them in the case of any emergencies. I want to create a loving and safe environment for your pets so in trusting me with your pets, I can promise that they will be loved and cared for!

We had an issue the morning after we left for our trip out of state where a neighbor broke into our apartment and Mike went out of his way to retrieve Zeus and get him home safely, truly did not have to do anything extra but he did and it meant the absolute world to us. About: I’ve taken care of cats for most of my life. I was lucky enough to have one of my cats for 21 years so I have experience with a senior kitty. I also volunteered at an animal shelter for 4 years where I split time between the cat house and kennels. About: I have owned and cared for pets for all of my life but it’s been a big part of my life over the last several years. Friends have dropped off pets at my home on 1.5acres, close into Woodinville. My own pets are very, happily socialized to enjoy visiting pets. There is a large fenced, fully landscaped yard to wander and always attention, pat’s and treats to go around. I will be working part time so no more than a few hrs away from the home a couple days a week. Fun times ahead! I have a large, fenced yard and a monitored doggy door to allow for potty brakes and free roaming. My dogs are well socialized and a little on the older side so tend to just hang out during the day.

Beyond my work with animals, I raised two children and dedicated 18 years to volunteering in our local school district, where I passed multiple background checks and supported various programs and events in schools and classrooms. My property is quiet and away from any traffic yet located just a mile from a major highway making it easy to get to for drop off and pick up! I am home everyday and spend most of my time with the animals in my care. I am happy to be flexible on timing for drop off or pick up windows and can pop in for drop in visits to give you a helping hand. In my home pets will be fed twice a day and have off leash time to relax or play with friends. If they are crate trained they will have their own crate to retreat to and dog beds to rest on. My dogs enjoy meeting new friends and provide a comforting pack to show new dogs the ropes. Outside, I always work on name recall with new dogs on leash and when they get to know me they will have supervised off leash time. About: I have a Husky-Malamute mix at home, and they're known for being one of the most high energy dogs. I can take care of your dog for sure. I am a college-freshman at NYU who’s looking to make some extra money whilst I’m on break back home, and what better way to make money than to take care of your dog! I am timely, and will make sure I give full attention to your pet. I’ll pick up after them, clean them if needed, and feed them all in a punctual manner. I’ll take this job very very seriously if you pick me! I'm back home for the summer, book any type of services available! I am always looking for ways to take care of pets, so anything works. Caring for my Husky-Malamute, I make sure to give him as much attention and play as possible. I love taking long walks (as long as your dog wants), and taking time to stroll around. I know how to avoid aggressive dogs, and also train aggression, as my dog also used to be aggressive. I will feed them on time, let them out to relieve themselves as much as possible, and be attentive to their needs!

About: I’ve cared for all ages of dogs ranging from puppies (6 weeks and up preferably) to seniors and I’m very comfortable administering medications and treatments. I can lift up to 50lbs and I’m familiar with dogs that have mobility issues too! My dog went to heaven about a year ago, I miss caring for him and working with Rover is a great option until I’m ready to adopt again one day :) Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have! I have the option to be home all day if necessary, or (of course with your consent) take Puppers with me on a car ride (more details later) We live in a very dog friendly community, they recently built an amazing dog park with lots of activities and fresh water. About: I’ve raised my own Golden Retriever since he was 8 weeks old, so I have real daily experience caring for a dog through every stage of growth and routine. Through caring for him, I’ve become very familiar with feeding schedules, walks, exercise, playtime, grooming, and making sure a dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I truly love dogs and understand how important it is to treat them with patience, attention, and affection. I know that every dog has their own personality and routine, and I always try to make them feel as comfortable and cared for as possible. I am home full-time, so I have a very flexible schedule and can provide dogs with plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m able to take them out every 2–4 hours for walks or potty breaks, depending on their usual routine and needs. My neighborhood also has a nearby trail, which is perfect for walks and extra exercise. Since I am home most of the day, I can give dogs a safe, comfortable, and well-supervised environment. I am also available on weekends and holidays, which makes it easier to accommodate different schedules and last-minute care needs. I offer a clean, calm, and pet-friendly home where dogs can feel safe and comfortable. My home is non-smoking, located in a quiet neighborhood, and everyone in my household is very friendly and welcoming to dogs. We do not currently have any other pets, which can be a great fit for dogs who do best in a peaceful environment. We also have a yard for outdoor time, and I always prioritize supervision, safety, and each dog’s comfort. My goal is to make every dog feel cared for, relaxed, and at home.
About: I have always had dogs ever since I was a baby and I love spending time with them and giving them all the love and attention they need! I grew up with a bull mastiff named belle and took care of her even in her older age and I currently have 2 golden retrievers who are around 6 years old but I helped take care of them when they were puppies as well. I feel comfortable helping senior dogs with any medicine, help moving, or anything else they may need and I'm super comfortable and patient with puppies! I also have 2 cats and have also been around cats since I was a baby and love taking care of them as well! I love playing and being around big dogs but small is great too! :) I am currently a high school senior but I do online classes through running start so I am pretty much home all day and I go away for practice later in the day but I honestly have a pretty open and free schedule during the week! Since I have a flexible schedule with school I am able to stay for a while if your animal needs extra attention or company! I feel very comfortable and confident taking care of dogs since I have always been around them growing up. My mom and me also run a rover business boarding dogs at our house for the last few years as well so I have gotten to take care of lots of different kind of dogs! I really love dogs and cats and it would be a really amazing and fun opportunity for me to help take care of your cats and pups! :)

Upon meeting Rachel at the meet & greet, I was instantly at ease. She has a calm and soothing demeanor, and was such a perfect fit for him, that I could not believe our luck. It felt like the universe conspired to make sure SHE would be his first sitter, so he can continue to learn that the world has many kind and loving people in it. Rachel was a proactive communicator, sharing pictures and updates, sometimes almost at the exact moment I found myself thinking, "I wonder what they're up to?" I was able to relax and put my focus where it needed to be: with my extended family for my mom's memorial service. I cannot express what a gift it was to not have to worry about this sweet little guy for my first time away from him. As I look ahead to future travel, I'll check in with Rachel first.”
