There have been big changes in our lives, so Emerson has had a lot of anxiety when left alone in the house for extended periods of time. Jackie did a great job trying to earn his trust, and put him at ease; and I can tell he was well looked after. She is a clear communicator and was very responsive before and during my trip. I was put at ease with the daily photos and updates she gave me while I was away. I came home to a fairly relaxed kitty and a very clean home. About: For four years, I provided dependable care for my friend’s cat and bunny while she attended college in another city. I made sure they were fed on schedule, refreshed their water daily, cleaned litter boxes and living areas, monitored their health and behavior, gave them affection and attention, and ensured they felt safe and comfortable. I have taken care of animals ever since I started college and did it almost monthly for two years. I can do daily check ups after 4:15pm from Monday through Friday. She spent time with them in the evening/night when they get the most lonely(they sleep most of the day), gave them wet food on schedule, checked their water fountains, dry food dispensers and litter robot to make sure they were in order, and cleaned up after Boo when he puked. When we came home, the cats seemed emotionally very well and cared for. I could tell she had spent the right amount of time with them and given them enough attention, because they were not upset, stressed or angry at me for leaving them as they would be if they had not been attended to sufficiently. Alexandra was also very kind to our apartment while she was over, leaving it very clean. Best of all, she was easy to communicate with while we were away. I definitely recommend her as a pet sitter!”

About: I won't just treat them as a "pet" I treat all animals as family. I have taken care of various dog and cats from family members and friends since I was a child. This included staying over, walking, feeding, training and playing. At the moment I am pursuing schooling for dog training so I have open availability for walks and drop ins! I usually ask for a days notice but it never hurts to ask. I have had experience with larger dogs (German shepherds, Great Pyerenese, Pitbulls and Saint Bernards) as well as small dogs (Chihuahua's, Shih Tzu and Dachshunds). I also provide baths and nail trimming when asked. I enjoy running too so if your looking to get your dog in shape! For pets coming to my house they must be crate trained (for when I sleep) and friendly with other dogs.

About: I’ve watched all kinds of dogs from puppies to the oldest of fellas. Some have had strict diets and medications that needed to be taken at specific times. I always make sure to give dogs plenty of exercise especially if they are crate trained, just get them tuckered out before needing to be put away for the night. House rules are always respected as well, your house is just as important as your dog! I am a full time student at SOU as well as an athlete so I will need to work around my class and practice schedule however, I scheduled classes to give me a little morning time and have evenings free! Periodic check-ins Monday-Thursday work best, staying full time at ones house works best Friday-Monday morning. While I can’t take in pets as I live in the dorms at SOU, I can carve out time to come meet the client and pets before the trip if that would give a sense of comfort, learn about the home and such. I am comfortable giving oral medicines to stubborn dogs, I have one myself! I have worked in houses that have cameras and/or pet cameras in and out of the house so I am comfortable with that too!

About: I have had a dog since I was 5 and as I got older my responsibilities for pet care increased. I love all dogs as my own and have experience watching other dogs overnight. I am currently working part time in the afternoon. Roughly 3-4 hours a day. Before work I will ensure your dog’s needs are meet with bathroom breaks, breakfast and exercise. After work I am fully their for your furry friend is that means more exercise or companionship. During work your pet is free to roam my house if they are trained or I have a crate they can use. About: Hi there! Im used to watching other people's pets and usually am requested to do such on base or off base. I also volunteered often for the humane society and owned several dogs myself. Military has made it more difficult to own a dog so taking care other dogs is a bit easier. I do this for fun and to help others (: Ill never increase price and if you need work things out we can discuss it. My schedule is usually rather free most days now. If you let me know in advance I can happily give you my schedule which usually consist of appointments. There's a huge fenced yard in the back and the house is always cooled. They're no kids here either. I certainly would welcome a house tour if you feel inclined to.

I love them like my own and want them and to have the best experience possible! I’m a dog groomer, but I am looking to do this as a part time job. Dogs and their health/care have been a number 1 priority for me always. I have a 9 month old kitten and a 3 year old poodle who love each other dearly! They have scheduled feeding times, I do a lot with my poodle for instance we do lots of walks, play time, dog park time and training sessions. I had my giant black lab since he was a puppy until I recently lost him to cancer at age 10. Used to older dogs that require medicine. About: My demeanor is very positive and caring. I believe animals can sense this about me and have no problem being comfortable with me entering their home and taking care of them! I was an animal technician for 2 years at a boarding and grooming facility. During this position I took care of cats & dogs by managing their playtime, feeding, and walking schedules. I also have experience with animals that need medication & was taught by a veterinarian to make swallowing medicine an easier experience for the animal. I have no problem giving shots to animals that are diabetic or that may have other conditions where injections are needed. I have grown up with animals & have dog/cat sat for over 10 years. I enjoy playing fetch, going on runs or just giving them a good belly rub! I work remote so my schedule is very flexible. I am happy to work around what works best for you & look forward to helping you enjoy your trip with ease that your fur baby is well cared for! I do not typically board from my home but am happy to check on your pup or cat in their environment. I believe animals, like people are more comfortable in their own home.
About: I was born and raised on a farm so I have raised many different kinds of livestock and house pets. Animal care is one of my favorite things about living on the farm and I will treat your furry family members as one of my own. I am currently working a 4 days a week, 10 hours a day. I am able to get away during the work day for about an hour, so in that time I can come and let your pet out to potty or give them more food. On the days I am not working, I am completely free to be with your pet for as long as you need me. I will vary my care based on the situation you have at your home and on your pets temperment (ex. going to the park, walking on the sidewalk, or sticking to the yard).
