“A Big Thank You to Alton, Valerie, and their children. They did a wonderful job taking care of Presley. They sent updates and pictures of Presley playing with their pup Ollie and also their children. It is comforting to see that he is enjoying himself and also snuggling with the kids. We appreciate having a safe place to leave our dog when we are away. Highly recommend them to care for your pup. We will definitely be a repeat client.”

“Howie spent New Year’s Eve with Kelly and her family. He loves it there. He was ready for a lot of napping when he came back from playing with Apollo. Thanks for taking such great care of our little guy.”

“We dropped off Ziggy for the weekend after a visit to the vet where we left with four medications, a cone and a bloody paw. Philip didn't flinch. (He was two minutes from where I was visiting my mom, so we could have been there if anything had come up.) We didn't get a lot of updates, but we came back to a dog who seemed happy, and better yet, hadn't been chewing on his paw. Highly recommend.”

“Another stay at Teri’s and more reasons that we’ll always be back! We look forward to having Ranger stay at her house and I know Ranger does too- he hardly wants to come home! Thanks for everything Teri.”

“Julie and Ryan were great. Had a good house for our 16.5 years old puppy and a backyard to roam. Walks were slow and likely short just as she likes them. Shea came to us happy, fed and rested. 5 stars for sure.”

“Georgia was SO easy to communicate with! She sent photos and videos, was flexible with timing, and quick to respond. She has a great yard and play space and is so clearly a dog-lover and caretaker. Tillie had an amazing time with her and we will definitely be going back!”

About: I’ve grown up with many cats and have two cats of my own whom I love with all my heart! I have become the main pet sitter for all my friends and Family ever since I was a teen. I have a passion for all animals and being able to care for them.

About: I have owned lots of animals in my 30 years of life and currently have one very special 9yo mutt who is my world. I have experience with medical issues and am comfortable giving medications and caring for ill, injured or aging animals. I am also an avid walker! I adore kitties and am not bothered by the spicy ones. I had several cats growing up and have lived with or sat many more as an adult. My schedule is a bit random right now, but I have some flexibility that I'm hoping to maintain and will typically have the same schedule every week. I can't have dogs in my home since my dog doesn't always get along with others. He does great with cats, though, and has lived with 4 without issue. So I'm happy to host a cat as long as the cat is alright with dogs! My dog is very wary of cats and mostly just ignores them. I have multiple rooms in my apartment and would separate them when I'm away just as a precaution. I am happy to do home visits and have reliable transportation for such, but I would prefer not to do overnight stays so that my dog isn't alone :)

“Macie was amazingly kind and took excellent care of our cat while we were away on travels. We wouldn't hesitate to ask for her to watch him again. Fully trust her.”

About: From human babies to cats, bearded dragons and beyond, I'm excited to meet you and your pet! I've always loved animals, especially dogs, cats, and reptiles. Caring for your furry (and not so furry!) loved ones brings me lots of joy and is how I wish I could spend every day. I'm eager to please and find I'm available for daily drop ins for potty and feedings, or spending more time with your pet in the evenings while you work late. Also available for overnights up to a week, staying in your home so your animal is most comfy! I love taking relaxing walks and playing fetch, or playing in your fenced yard enjoying the warm weather. I can administer pills and monitor health conditions, and can provide physical assistance for small dogs and cats with mobility issues, like getting up and down furniture. I'm open and eager to learn administering other medication types if you are comfortable teaching! Anxious and shy pets warm to me easily, and so do senior dogs and cats! I have open availability during the summer months as I work for the school district. I want to spend my time loving and caring for your pet/s, so please let me know what your needs are and I'll do everything I can to make it work! After summer, I work part-time during the day, so I can stop by mid-morning to let dogs out to potty and play, and my evenings/weekends are open. I want to be best friends with your pet, so knowing their favorite treats and keeping their routine consistent is important to me. I promise to care for your baby like my own.

“Brianna is just a gem. She learned how to give our cat sub-q fluids and made it possible for us to go half way around the world on vacation. We came home to a happy, healthy kitty. Thank you so much.”

About: I grew up with animals my whole life, especially dogs and cats. At a time we always had four dogs and four cats. I also have two cats of my own and cannot have a dog at the moment, but I miss interacting with them and being around their goofy, loving, and fun personalities! My I currently work week days from 7:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m. and am available weekends! My daily routing includes taking a morning walk every day from 5:00-5:30 a.m but I love walking at all parts of the day! I love my cats more than anything and will treat your pets the same! On top of daily love and care, they have an automatic litter box that I completely clean (fully soaked and scrubbed) every week, I take the time to make nutritious meals for them every morning and night that includes real salmon, minnows, vitamins, and other goodies! “Georgia was amazing with my dog! She was excellent with communication and easy to work with and very flexible with my schedule. I highly would recommend her. She treated my dog like family and took great care of him.”

“Hannah is simply the best! She watches our pup every week but in addition to that she watched him so we could go out on a date night. She loves our good boy like her own and it is just wonderful! 🥰”

“David put my mind at ease from the get go. It was the first time I’ve ever left my dog. My mind was at ease knowing she was in good hands! Thank you David and Jennifer.”

“Teri did an exceptional job watching our dog, Rocket, for the day. She helped Rocket to feel comfortable with her home and backyard before slowly introducing her dogs. Once they were introduced they quickly became friends and had a great time playing together. Teri made sure to provide us with frequent pictures and updates, which gave us peace of mind knowing that our dog was being well taken care of. Her communication with us was always professional and we are happy to have chosen her to watch our dog and will definitely choose her in the future when we are in the area.”

“Mimi and her family took such wonderful care of our Velzy girl! From the moment we met I felt at ease and so did our pup. Velzy had the best time with Chester and they got along great!Lovely home with the best backyard. We will MOST DEFINITELY be booking again and again and again. Highly recommended! Thank you Mimi + fam!!! 🧡”

About: I love animals of all kinds and am happy to take care for your pets. Your dogs and cats will be loved and cared for like they’re my own. I know the area well and my neighborhood is very dog friendly and safe for walking. I have experience taking care of animals with anxiety and that are recovering from surgery. Thank you for trusting me with your pets, Please let me know any special requests or needs you have for your animals or home. Currently on a job search so I’m not sure of my daily schedule in the future, but I won’t be working more than 8 hours at a time and most likely only 30 hours a week. For house sitting and boarding, I will at home as much as possible, with the exception of running necessary errands. I’ll do my best to keep your pet happy and comfortable, and stick to your pets routines i.e. walks, play time, feeding time etc. (I sometimes board more than one dog at a time but only with your express permission of both owners)
“Cheryl was wonderful. She took great care of my Stormi. She sent me pictures throughout the day to let me know how my pup was doing. Best part is that Stormi came home exhausted from all the fun she had.”

About: My wife, Audri, and I are lifelong animal lovers with experience caring for a wide variety of pets. Audri grew up with Huskies, Malamutes, cats, rabbits, and birds, while I grew up with countless dogs and cats, as well as goats and even a pet rat. Animals have always been a central part of our lives, and our long-term dream is to have enough land to rescue and care for even more of them. As pet owners ourselves, we understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pets and home. We regularly use pet and house sitters and know the peace of mind that comes from receiving updates while you're away. When your pets are in our care, you can expect dependable communication, regular updates, and plenty of photos. Our current furry family includes three cats, two rabbits, and two spunky Pomskies. We believe pets are family and take pride in providing attentive, loving care tailored to each animal's needs. From energetic dogs to shy cats and small animals, we're comfortable caring for a variety of personalities and routines. Last year we relocated from Bend, Oregon, to Spokane and are excited to put down roots in the area. While we're still in the process of purchasing our own home, we are currently available for drop-in visits and pet sitting in your home. After 6/27/2026 we would love to host your pups in our new home! We look forward to meeting you and your pets! I (Haley) primarily do the pet-sitting. I have been out of work with a back injury and have a pretty open schedule outside of PT and doctor’s appointments. When caring for your pets in your home, we will treat both your animals and your space with the same respect and attention that we give our own. We're a "shoes off at the door" kind of family, and we believe that the little details matter—from keeping food and water areas clean to paying close attention to your pet's behavior, appetite, energy level, and bathroom habits. As pet owners ourselves, we know that changes in routine can sometimes be the first sign that something isn't quite right. If we notice anything unusual, we'll communicate with you promptly so you can have peace of mind while you're away. My wife, Audri, is a nurse and is experienced in administering medications and caring for pets with special health needs. Whether your pet requires medication, extra patience, or a customized routine, we're committed to following your instructions carefully and providing attentive, compassionate care. Our goal is simple: to ensure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved, while you feel confident knowing they're in good hands.
“Wow! I am so happy for my pups that they got to spend their day with Patricia while I was at a wedding. It was such a good day for them. They got to play, run, wrestle, go to dog park 2x, sleep, eat, wake-up and do it all again, and again. Patricia also took 20 pictures for me to see them throughout the day. I’m also happy she got to be with them. I look forward to when they can spend their day with her again. Thank-you soooo much! 🙂Kari”

“Velma was wonderful! We were going to be in town for the weekend and needed a place for our pup one of the days. Velma was willing to video chat in order to have a “face to face” prior to setting the booking, since we are not in her local area. She was flexible as our schedule changed and was able to accommodate the change. She was great with our senior dog, and she really seems to care and enjoy her furry guests! We hope to be able to utilize her services again!”

About: I have had a dog ever since I can remember and I am 69 yrs old. I have TIME and am reliable, because I am retired. I made sure my kids grew up with a dog and now they have my grand dogs which I love to babysit. I lost my last dog (he was 14) in 2018 and I knew I was going to retire (and travel) in 2021 so now I have my grand dogs and all my friends dogs to babysit and get my fix. I also have volunteered for Path of Hope rescue since I retired. I have a medium sized doggie door out to a wonderful patio and yard fully fenced with 6 ft high vinyl fence. I love dogs so much. They are just the most loving, gentle, and FUN animals put on this earth. I am a walker, so all dogs that stay at my house get walked everyday, with a ton of love and affection. I am going to start Rover on Jan. 2026!!!! I am retired, so I would love to walk your dogs during the day for you. (I am a daily walker anyway :) so why not?) If they stay with me, my home is perfect with a fenced yard, medium sized doggie door (but I do love and will have larger dogs too) and they will get a lot of love and attention. While I prefer crate trained dogs, it does not mean they would be in their crate during the day unless you say it is needed if I leave the house. If not crate trained I would be okay if they are a very well trained dog :) My home is just me, so dogs will get that one on one attention. I am retired so I can accommodate any feeding/walking schedules that are needed.
“I had an exceptional experience with Amanda and Justin. My wife and I were visiting Spokane for three days during a heatwave, and needed daycare for Casey. They did a terrific job, especially introducing Casey to their larger dogs and communicating via text and the Rover app. We felt completely comfortable leaving Casey in their very capable hands.”

“Linelle was absolutely wonderful with our puppy! We had a last-minute request, and she was incredibly accommodating and communicative throughout the entire stay. We loved receiving frequent updates and photos, which gave us such peace of mind. We truly appreciate the exceptional care and attention she provided. Our puppy was in great hands!”

“Genevieve was a lifesaver and took Maeve in for a last minute doggie daycare request. She allowed us to see where Maeve would be hanging out and meet her other dogs. We got updates on how it was going and Maeve looked so happy! They took her on a hike & let her play in the water. Their home, with a large yard and doggie door, was the perfect fit for Maeve. And she was wiped out when she got home. We are so happy we found Genevieve!”

About: I’m two years dogless and I truly miss the companionship and the joy that dogs bring to daily life. Joining Rover is my way of getting back into the "dog world"—offering your pets the same dedicated love, patience, and attention I gave my own for over a decade. What I Offer: • Senior Care Knowledge: Having cared for a dog through his final years, I am very comfortable with senior pups and slow walks. Don’t think I don’t love puppies too! • A "Dogs-First" Home: Since I don't currently have a pet, your dog will be the "only child" and get 100% of my attention. • Lifelong Intuition: I understand that every dog has a unique personality, from high-energy athletes to professional couch potatoes. I work from home full-time, which means your dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone. My home office is "dog-friendly," and I love having a furry coworker at my feet (or on the sofa!) throughout the day. What a day with me looks like: • Constant Supervision: Because I’m at my desk, I can offer frequent potty breaks and immediate attention whenever your pup needs it. • Structured Breaks: I use my lunch and mid-afternoon breaks for neighborhood walks, games of fetch, or just some quality backyard time. • Active "Face Time": I don't just sit in another room; I enjoy the companionship of dogs while I work. Whether your dog prefers to nap quietly nearby or needs occasional head scratches between my meetings, I’m here for it. • Flexible Needs: If your dog has a specific medication or feeding schedule that requires midday attention, my WFH setup makes that easy to accommodate. My home is a quiet, hazard-free sanctuary designed for stress-free stays. • Safety First: No other pets or children in the home—perfect for anxious or selective dogs. • Open Communication: Expect frequent "pupdates" and photos throughout the day. • Expert Handling: I am comfortable with senior care, medication, and following strict house rules.
“Sarah is THE BEST dog sitter! Kind, considerate, detail oriented, great communicator. She took care of my pup Piper during the day for a few days while I was in town to watch a volleyball tournament, and I couldn't be happier with how it worked out. I really appreciated the status update text messages that Sarah sent from time to time, and it was abundantly clear from the pics she shared that Piper was totally comfortable and really enjoying her time there. Also -- a big shout out to Sarah's pup, Sully, for sharing his home and his mom with Piper for a few days! He was a great host and he & Piper got along very well. I would hire Sarah again in a heartbeat if/when we visit Spokane again!”

“We could tell Sophie was in good hands with Emily, and were very thankful to have her there. Really appreciated the videos and pics. Already have another booking scheduled, and I know Sophie will be so glad to go back!”

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats, including my own, for as long as I can remember. I have trained my pets as well as other's in basic obedience. I like to study dog psychology and I have a bachelor's degree in psychology. I've taken care of all kinds of dogs from tiny-huge and fearful-calm temperaments. My favorite breeds to care for are large breeds, most specifically breeds like pitties, mastiffs, and dobermans, but I love all dog breeds too and love how every dog has their own unique personality. I've also cared for cats doing volunteer work and have 2 of my own. I'm currently available anytime of the week all year besides the few times per year that I travel. I am working to potentially have a career with dogs. For care in the client's home, I will do whatever is instructed to me to be done for the pet. I am good at reading dog body language and understanding their needs. I've cared for fearful/avoidant dogs and hyper/clingy dogs alike. I am not able to provide care in my own home since I live with family and own 2 rescue cats.
“Lifesaver! I’m so glad I found Vanessa, I would absolutely recommend to take care of your fur baby. Vanessa has taken care of my little man multiple times and helped me out last minute which I’m super appreciative for.”

About: Hello! My name is Claire and I want to meet your pet! I am new to Rover but am an experienced pet sitter and care provider. I have grown up, spent time with, and cared for many different types of animals in my life, and I have loved each one. I have experience with all kids of pets, from large to small, from puppies and kittens to seniors, with a wide range of personalities, activity levels, medical needs, and all those adorable little quirks that make your pet special. Does your precious baby dog need a kiss on the head and to be tucked in before bed? Easy. Does your fancy pants cat require a spotless litterbox every time? No problem. Do I need to put on a show and act like I "cooked" a gourmet kibble meal for them every time? Done. I am very comfortable assisting with any medication needs for your animal and helping train/reinforce any training regimen you may have as well. Let me go above and beyond for your pet! I currently have very open availability and I have time to focus on Rover as my primary responsibility. I am able to commit to a regular schedule of pet care. While I am unable to host your animal in my home due to the fact that I rent, I am more than happy to travel to the environment where your pet feels the most comfortable: your home and neighborhood. I am more than happy to follow any rules and routines you may have.
“Brittany walked our two energetic and reactive dogs for one hour walks over a two week period. We were out of town and my parents had easy communication with her. My dogs got their exercise and were happy and content pups! I would recommend Brittany and book through her again.”

“My Shih Tzu absolutely loved Velma. He'd get so excited to see her he'd squeal. I had a foot injury and really appreciated that Velma always showed up on time and told me if my dog pooped, was scared by a cat or large dog or other things they encountered on their walk, like deer. She took really good care of my dog and I would highly recommend her to others.”

About: I have over 9 years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats, including grooming, basic training, and pet sitting. I’ve worked with pets of all ages, temperaments, and needs. I was actively involved with my local humane society in Arizona where I fostered multiple litters of puppies as well as dogs with complex trauma backgrounds, helping them build trust, confidence, and readiness for their furever homes. That experience taught me patience, calm handling, and how to read animal body language closely. I also have two kitty boys of my own and have helped care for several new litters, so I’m very comfortable with kittens and multi-cat households. At home I have a very friendly, well-socialized Australian Cattle Dog who is also my trained service animal. She has excellent manners, is welcoming around other animals, and has helped me deepen my understanding of structure, training, and positive reinforcement. I truly love animals and treat every pet like family, focusing on safety, comfort, and individualized care. I’m a small business owner, which gives me a flexible schedule and the ability to intentionally build pet care into my daily routine. I plan my days so I can give pets the time, attention, and consistency they deserve. Working with animals has always been something that fills my cup, and I’ve really missed having that regular connection with pets. Now that I’ve moved to a more populated area and have more flexibility, I’m excited to work with animals again and support my community in a way that I’m naturally good at. Pet care isn’t something I squeeze in — it’s something I genuinely enjoy making time for. I love building trust with animals and creating a calm, positive experience for them while their owners are away. My approach to pet care is calm, attentive, and tailored to each animal’s needs and routine. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely so pets feel safe and comfortable with familiar schedules, feeding times, and boundaries. In a client’s home, I respect the pet’s normal environment and keep things consistent. I provide regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and calm companionship. I also send updates and photos so owners feel connected and reassured. If caring for pets in my home, I create a safe and structured environment with plenty of supervision. Pets are never left unattended for long periods, and I prioritize slow introductions and compatibility if other animals are present. My home is pet-friendly and calm, with space to relax as well as engage in enrichment and play. Overall, I focus on safety, communication, and making sure each pet feels secure, loved, and well cared for while their family is away.

About: I started my first dog walking business in elementary school walking neighborhood dogs! I have owned dogs my entire life, taking them on regular walks. Owning a reactive dog now has made me even more patient! I have attended various dog training sessions with my reactive dog and learned more about managing dog behaviors. I’m a teacher on summer break looking for a little extra money! I’m free all week long to help get those pups some extra exercise and fun! I own 2 dogs and we have a fenced yard. Our dogs are kennel trained but roam the house freely all day and night. I have attended dog training sessions in the past to support my reactive rescue dog.
About: I worked in dog grooming for a decade, and I do miss the dogs, often. I will be happy to help regardless of breed or size. I have open availability in my schedule. I work with many different service partners, and can easily adjust my schedule, with proper notice, of course. Dogs will be played with, of course! I will run them, depending on age and whether they like that. Feed them, walk them. Cats will get nozzles and pets
About: I've always had dogs in my family, including several rescue dogs which has been super rewarding. My husband and I have been fortunate to be able to retire early but we are both very active. I want to spend my spare time doing something productive that I love... caring for dogs is a perfect fit! Most of my time is spent at my home and in our back yard. I have 2 dogs that are very social and love spending time with other dogs. They will enjoy having play-dates with your dog(s). I believe that every dog deserves to be valued and loved. I limit the dogs I board to a maximum of 4 dogs at a time in order to ensure that each dog will get proper care and attention. I don't work outside of the home. If I need to run an errand or go shopping, my husband is typically home to care for the digs. Dogs are rarely left alone, but if they are, it is for no longer than 2 to 3 hours. When the weather is nice, we keep the sliding door open so that the dogs can hang out indoor or outdoors, wherever they feel most comfortable. During the colder months we let the dogs out every two to four hours. We don't crate dogs unless that's what they're used to. We allow dogs on our furniture and in our bed.
About: Every since I was a kid I have been around animals. My grandma had 3 dogs and that’s where my love for dogs started. My roommate has relied on me multiple times to take care of her cat. I also have a lot of experience watching dogs for friends and family. My goal is to make the dog feel happy and get some extra love. I work in healthcare with a job that allows me to create my own schedule depending on my clients. I will always make sure your pet is fit in my schedule. With having an open schedule allows me to spend more time with your fur baby! I currently live in an apartment with roommates and two cat, so unfortunately I will not be able to board the animals at my place. But I’m available for all the other options. Look forward to getting to know your and your pups or cats! :)
“Genevieve was THE BOMB watching our pup. She took lots of pictures, and clearly gave him all the love and attention he needed. She even took him home one day to play with her pups, which she of course did not have to do. Puck had a great time with her, and we would love to have her watch him again!”

“They accepted my booking on short notice and were very responsive when I had questions. Crystal sent photos and updates. I would definitely have them watch our dog again.”

“Heather was amazing. She is an excellent communicator and gave regular updates. After a week, my dog had clearly bonded with her so I will definitely look to use her in the future.”

“Patricia was so wonderful with my dog Bernie. She helped administer meds and took him on long walks. I could tell when I picked him up that he was really comfortable with her and well taken care of. The daily photo updates were so sweet!”

“Emily was fabulous with communication and sending photos. Our Wolffe looked so happy and well cared for while we were away. So happy we found Emily. We have already rebooked for our next trip. Thank you so much for taking amazing care of Wolffe.”

“Cheryl took amazing care of my two dogs while I was out of town. They stayed at her place and she sent daily updates and photos of them. They seemed very happy and relaxed while there. :) I would definitely use her services again in the future.”

“Milo had a great time and was taken care of exactly as his medical needs required. We appreciate the flexibility with his pickup and will certainly return if we need boarding again.”

“Carley was friendly and sent me pictures of my dog every day which I greatly appreciated. When I picked up my dog she was happy, healthy and exhausted. I definitely recommend Carley”

“Tori is absolutely amazing! Our dogs are a little needy so we were worried about leaving them for an extended trip but Tori set our minds at ease with the frequent photos, videos, and text updates on them. We are so happy to have found a consistent and reliable sitter and our dogs love her and her family so much. Would defintely recommend to anyone looking for a dependable and loving pet sitter”

“We were delighted with Penny’s stay with Hannah! Hannah was attentive to Penny’s needs and comfort, and sent wonderful pictures and videos and updates! We are very pleased and appreciate Hannah’s gentle heart!”

“Samantha was absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectations. I had an emergency and she was able to take my 3 Basset Hounds within a couple of hours. They stayed with her for a week. My dogs were welcomed with open arms and treated exactly how they are at home- even getting to sleep in bed with her and snuggle time on the couch. She always responded to my messages within minutes, and sent me several updates, pictures, and videos of my babies every day. She also made sure to ask questions about habits, personalities, medications, feeding, etc. I was so scared to drop them off, but Samantha quickly eased my anxiety, making sure I knew they were okay and adjusting well. I cant recommend her enough. Ellie is hard to win over and within a couple of days I find out that she is following Samantha all over the house. A very impressive feat. She will be my first contact should I need to board my babies again. Thank you, Samantha for making a stressful situation the easiest it could have been, and for taking such good care of my girls.”

“Kathryn was an absolute joy to work with. My dogs loved her and had an absolute blast staying with her! She was very communicative and checked in each day to let me know how they were doing.”

“She took wonderful care of Levi! Chantel sent many photo updates of walks, play time in the backyard, and funny moments. Levi looked right at home at Chantel’s!”
