If I am able to book your pet I would make sure their needs are met and taken care of first and foremost. I would feed, play, and cuddle. In my home your pet would have a spacious environment. We have a big space for the pet to have their own room and privacy. We have a fully fenced yard for roaming and running. Your pet would be absolutely happy here. If I were to sit at your home I would make sure the pet is comfortable. I would obviously feed them to your preferences. I would take them in the back yard or walk. I am currently working part time doing instacart so I am on the road and can stop whenever I need to let them out or take them on a walk. I am also starting school this summer so I will be available after classes as well. I usually stay over at my friend's house whenever they are gone to watch their fur babies. So they feel comfortable and safe in there own space.
About: Hi! I’m Jen — a lifelong animal lover with over 4 years of hands-on experience working at an animal shelter, plus many additional months caring for dogs and other animals on a small farm property. If there’s one thing I truly understand, it’s dogs. Especially the shy, anxious, and misunderstood ones. They hold a very special place in my heart! There is no greater feeling than earning the trust of a dog who needs a little extra patience and understanding. At the shelter I worked with every type of dog imaginable, from easygoing family pups to dogs with more complex needs due to past trauma. I was trusted to walk and handle even the more anxious or sensitive dogs, helping them build confidence and learn to trust new people. I’m very comfortable reading dog body language and adjusting my approach so each dog feels safe, respected, and understood. One of the dogs I worked closely with, Donald, needed a trusted handler present while new volunteers learned how to walk him safely, and I helped train others so he could get the exercise and enrichment he deserved. I also helped start enrichment initiatives at the shelter, including treat puzzles, mental stimulation games, and a “dog play buddy” program to give the dogs additional socialization and activity. One of my most special experiences there was helping care for a mama dog who gave birth to a litter of 10 (10!) puppies. I helped care for and socialize those puppies as they grew until they were ready for their forever homes. I also have experience caring for senior animals and understand that older pets often need a little extra patience, gentleness, and attention to their comfort and routine. Beyond dogs, I also have experience caring for cats and bunnies. Over the past few months I’ve helped care for my landlady’s 1yo kitty, and I’m very comfortable providing drop-in care and pet sitting for cats and small animals as well. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting/boarding and I treat every animal like they’re my own. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality, comfort level, and body language so they feel safe and relaxed while their owner is away. I’m always happy to send updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and well cared for. My goal is simple: every animal I care for should feel safe, so very loved, and understood. Pet care is my primary focus, so my daily routine is built around providing consistent, hands-on care. I structure my day to include regular potty breaks, feeding schedules, exercise, enrichment, and downtime, depending on each pet’s needs. I’m home for the majority of the day, which allows me to provide a high level of supervision and attention. Pets are rarely left alone for extended periods, and I’m able to adjust my schedule to support different energy levels, routines, and personalities. Whether a dog needs more activity and engagement or a calm, low-stress environment, I’m able to tailor my day to ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I care for every pet based on who they are — not just a one-size-fits-all routine. I pay close attention to body language, energy levels, and comfort cues so pets feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for. In my home, dogs stay on a fully fenced 10-acre farm property where they can safely explore, play, and decompress. All outdoor time is supervised, and I’m intentional about creating a balanced environment — active play for dogs who love it, and plenty of quiet downtime for those who don’t. I have a friendly Mini Goldendoodle and a very mellow senior pup in the home, and I take introductions slowly and thoughtfully. I’m always prepared to separate or crate dogs if needed to keep everyone comfortable and safe. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I stick closely to your routines and preferences so your pet experiences as little disruption as possible. I keep things calm, consistent, and predictable, which is especially important for anxious or sensitive animals. I’m very comfortable with a wide range of personalities, including dogs who need a little extra patience or structure, and I pride myself on creating an environment where pets can relax and just be themselves.
About: Since I could remember we always had animals part of are family from dogs all the way too horses. So I’ve come to love and care for all type of Animals from small to large, young to old. At this moment I’ve taken some time away from work and focus on myself.So every animal in my care will have one hundred percent of my attention. About: I have been caring for my own and others animals for well over 20 years. I will treat your fur baby just like my own! About: I’ve been around dogs for most of my life, growing up with them and continuing to care for dogs for friends and others over the years. I’m also the proud owner of an 8-year-old Newfoundland/Collie mix, so I’m very comfortable with larger dogs and understand the importance of patience, consistency, exercise, and plenty of affection. However, I also grew up with dachshunds and love the little ones just the same. One of my strengths is reading a dog’s personality and responding to what they need. I’m naturally affectionate with friendly, social dogs, but I’m equally comfortable giving shy or timid dogs the space and time they need to feel safe. I never want to force an interaction—I’d rather let a dog build trust at their own pace. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention and stick closely to their normal routines. Communication is also very important to me. I know how reassuring it is to receive updates when someone else is caring for your pet, so owners can expect me to be responsive and keep them informed. For dogs staying with me, I have a fenced backyard and live in a very walkable neighborhood, making it easy to provide outdoor time, exercise, and walks throughout the day. My pup, Drogo, is very kind and loves other dogs and he's especially gentle with the little ones. He can be a little grumpy with puppies, so that is a case-by-case basis (and I would encourage a meet and greet beforehand). Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs. Whether your dog wants walks and playtime, lots of pets, or simply a calm person nearby, I’m happy to meet them where they are and make them feel comfortable. I have a very open and flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to make pet care a natural part of my day rather than something I have to squeeze in around other commitments. Your dogs will be my priority. My flexibility also allows me to be responsive to owners and accommodate changes when possible. I want both you and your dog to feel like they’re getting plenty of attention—not like they’re just another appointment on my calendar. Safety, trust, and making your dog feel comfortable are always my priorities. I know every dog has their own personality, routine, boundaries, and quirks, so I’ll take the time to learn what works best for yours rather than assuming every dog needs the same kind of care. For dogs staying in my home, I have a securely fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time and live in a very walkable neighborhood for regular walks and exercise. My dog, Drogo, is friendly and enjoys the company of other dogs, but I think introductions are important. I’m happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand so everyone can get comfortable and we can make sure our dogs are a good fit—especially with puppies or dogs who may need a little more time to adjust. In a client’s home, I’m very respectful of both your space and your dog’s established routine. I’ll follow your instructions closely regarding meals, walks, medications or special care instructions, doors and gates, and anything else that helps keep your pet safe and comfortable. I also pay close attention to a dog’s body language. Some dogs want to be best friends immediately, while others need patience and space before they feel comfortable with someone new. I’m happy to let them set the pace. And of course, communication is a big priority for me. I’ll be responsive and keep you updated so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention while they’re in my care.
About: I’ve taken care of many pets for my family over the years, currently I’m helping my aunt with her high-energy border collie/german shepherd mix. I love taking dogs for walks, playing fetch, roughhousing with them, anything to get that energy out! I’m in between jobs right now and I’m looking to start college later in the fall. My schedule is very flexible and I have lots of free time. I’m good at following verbal/written instructions regarding boundaries within your home, as well as specific instructions about your pets needs. I’ll always ask the owner if I’m unsure about something.
