“We have used Rover sitters several times now and Diahann has been by far the best we’ve used and we will definitely use her in the future for our two small dogs. Our dogs are picky when it comes to food and admittedly kind of spoiled and high maintenance but they did great at Diahann’s and she provided us with plenty of pics and videos so we didn’t worry about them. They eat special food (mainly human food) and when they ran out Diahann took it upon herself to cook them chicken and rice (which is one of the main dishes they eat). We highly recommend Diahann — her rates are a bargain considering she is by far the best dog sitter we’ve found on Rover.”

They live in a nice quiet community with plenty of sidewalks and areas to walk plus they have a large fenced backyard which is a perfect setting for larger dogs. I felt like they really have a love of animals and care a great deal about the hospitality of your pet. I was given multiple updates everyday including pictures and videos of my dog eating, playing, jumping, and running. They have a dog named Jack which was great for my 2 year old golden to play with and learn to be more social around other dogs. Roger took care of our dog for a total of 10 days which was a long time, but after pickup I knew my furry friend was well taken care of. Don’t hesitate to contact Roger as I would highly recommend him and his family as a pet sitters.”

About: I have grown up with cats and dogs, and am familiar with many other kinds of animals. I have sat for non-family/friends and well as them included many times before! I have managed taking care of 5+ pets at once, given proper meds, care, playtime, etc. This experience ranges from kittens/puppies just a few days old, to older aged animals. I work “full time” but I work around 30 hours and I have a lot of split shifts so time before or after to check-in with the pets. This looks like morning feed, going outside, if any meds or vitamins need to be taken or same with after depending on the time of day needed. Depending on circumstances of boundaries and rules of each pet, I easily find a solution and adapt if needed. I will watch your dog/cat outside or on a leash front or back of yard. If there are off-limit areas inside our outside those will be closed doors or if there’s a gate it will be put up per clients request. If there needs to be check-ins with owner that be applicable, I am attentive to my phone, when and if necessary.

One of the dogs I worked closely with, Donald, needed a trusted handler present while new volunteers learned how to walk him safely, and I helped train others so he could get the exercise and enrichment he deserved. I also helped start enrichment initiatives at the shelter, including treat puzzles, mental stimulation games, and a “dog play buddy” program to give the dogs additional socialization and activity. One of my most special experiences there was helping care for a mama dog who gave birth to a litter of 10 (10!) puppies. I helped care for and socialize those puppies as they grew until they were ready for their forever homes. I also have experience caring for senior animals and understand that older pets often need a little extra patience, gentleness, and attention to their comfort and routine. Beyond dogs, I also have experience caring for cats and bunnies. Over the past few months I’ve helped care for my landlady’s 1yo kitty, and I’m very comfortable providing drop-in care and pet sitting for cats and small animals as well. In my home, dogs stay on a fully fenced 10-acre farm property where they can safely explore, play, and decompress. All outdoor time is supervised, and I’m intentional about creating a balanced environment — active play for dogs who love it, and plenty of quiet downtime for those who don’t. I have a friendly Mini Goldendoodle and a very mellow senior pup in the home, and I take introductions slowly and thoughtfully. I’m always prepared to separate or crate dogs if needed to keep everyone comfortable and safe. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I stick closely to your routines and preferences so your pet experiences as little disruption as possible. I keep things calm, consistent, and predictable, which is especially important for anxious or sensitive animals. About: I grew up in a large family with many pets. We had five dogs and two cats growing up, and I have had my own pets since. I’ve had multiple dogs and cats over the years, though I just moved back to Washington, so I have no pets at the moment. I currently have open availability and am able to provide visits or stay over at clients homes to care for pets. I’m able to arrange arrival and departure to fit your schedule. I am able to fit whatever needs the client has. If your pets are accustomed to being out and about in the home, I can spend time with them that way. About: Since I could remember we always had animals part of are family from dogs all the way too horses. So I’ve come to love and care for all type of Animals from small to large, young to old. About: I've worked at an animal hospital. I've worked at animal rescues. I love pets all animals. They are what makes life worth living. I take care of animals as if they were my own children. I watch my own pets daily. If I were to watch your pet they would be well taken care of and make sure thier needs are met. For boarding at my home I have a huge space/room for your pet to stay. I have a fully fenced yard in back/front. Enough room for running around and playing. A separate room space indoor huge. Although our pets are friendly I would never have our pets around your dog while staying. They will be separated and taken out in the yard separately. For boarding at your home I would do anything your pet wanted run/walk/play/feed. I just have a baby so I can't stay the night. But I would visit morning and night. If I am able to book your pet I would make sure their needs are met and taken care of first and foremost. I would feed, play, and cuddle. In my home your pet would have a spacious environment. We have a big space for the pet to have their own room and privacy. We have a fully fenced yard for roaming and running. Your pet would be absolutely happy here. If I were to sit at your home I would make sure the pet is comfortable. I would obviously feed them to your preferences. I would take them in the back yard or walk. Overall I would make it feel like the owner never left as much as I could

Unless of course it's just to hot to be out side. Rainy days are our lazy days or indoor activity days. Lots of cuddles and loves. My personal fur babies are not kenneled but I do have kennels for ones who prefer it. It's whatever makes them happiest. Or feel the safest. I'm a pretty good judge of character when it comes to fur babies. We read one another very well. Which in turn makes us more comfy with one another. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience with one ever.i know when to back off or come in for loves. Mutal respect is the best policy I feel.

They live in a nice quiet community with plenty of sidewalks and areas to walk plus they have a large fenced backyard which is a perfect setting for larger dogs. I felt like they really have a love of animals and care a great deal about the hospitality of your pet. I was given multiple updates everyday including pictures and videos of my dog eating, playing, jumping, and running. They have a dog named Jack which was great for my 2 year old golden to play with and learn to be more social around other dogs. Roger took care of our dog for a total of 10 days which was a long time, but after pickup I knew my furry friend was well taken care of.
