“Kristina and her family were great! By the second visit, my Daisy knew she was going somewhere fun where would gets lots of cuddles, pets, and love! Kristina updated me of Daisy’s day and was super easy to work with. I would 1000% recommend Kristina and her family ☺️”

“In one word.... AWESOME!!!! Zlatina agreed to board my German Shepheard, Penelope, for a week, starting early on a Sunday when I needed to make an un-planned trip to Texas to support one of our Projects. It was on short notice. We agreed to a Meet and Greet to see how my dog and their dog Smoke, would do together. It was instant success!! I knew right away that both Zlatina and Nathan were dog lovers and I was very comfortable leaving my girl with them. Zlatina sent me photos and updates through the week on how Penelope was doing which was great! I have two more scheduled trips to Texas for work in January and I entrust Zlatina and Nathan completely!! Thank you for working with me on short notice and I HIGHLY recommend Zlatina if you need to board your pet!! Mike Dickman”

“We had a great experience with Kimberly. She was very welcoming to our puppy. This was his first time away from home and she provided a healthy family atmosphere for the little guy. Her house is spotless and well orangized. She made sure that our pup was provided with comfort, warmth and care from the moment we walked in the door. Kimberly communicated well throughout the weekend to give us updates and to coordinate drop off/pick up times. I highly recommend her services and will support her business in the future.”

“On our second time booking with Enrique, Athena remembered how well she liked it there. She cried to get off the car and went straight into the house like it was her second home. It made us feel good that she was happy to come back. We will book again soon, for sure!!”

“Fantastic experience!! This was our first time leaving our cat with Angela and Ashlyn and it won’t be the last! They took such good care of her and kept us informed of how she was doing every day, including pics and video. Our cat is very skittish anxious so I was really afraid she would shut down and make herself sick. I included in her history/routine page a ton of particular quirks she has, likes, routines etc. thinking I sounded ridiculous. Not only did Angela and Ashlyn NOT think I was a loon, they accommodated her in every way possible. Including providing a mug (I forgot her’s) from which she uses to drink, with her paw. Our cat had a great experience, settled in immediately, and probably didn’t want to come home:) Our fears leaving her were alleviated immediately and we had a great experience as well. Finding Angela and Ashlyn opens up a world of opportunity and experiences for my husband and I, now that we know our cat has an awesome place to stay. 10/10. Would highly recommend.”

About: We have owned fur babies for the last 25 years, from dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, goats, as well as pet hamsters and rats. We've had the privilege of taking care of our cats and dogs almost 25 years. We have had them from puppyhood and kittenhood to their geriatric years (two dogs to age 16!). Currently we have three yellow labs; two that we adopted from my parents when they passed, they are, 4,4, and 9 years old. We have always had our dogs trained with the basic obedience commands and we only use encouraging words and actions to help them learn. Many of our animals were rescue pups. We also have dog friendly indoor/outdoor cats. I work part time at home as well as on call work when I am available. I am an early riser and can work as early as 5:30am and as late as 8pm. We offer in home care, to include drop off, doggy day care and pet sitting for dogs and cats. I would also be open to short term pet care in a clients home and I am especially interested in dog walking as well as field trips trail or park walking, and dog parks for dogs that enjoy it. I am also able to provide transportation to vet appointments.
“Terry and Fernanda are the absolute best! They always kept me up to date, sent me pictures, very beautiful house and neighborhood, took my Russell on walks and fed him on schedule. Russell is a big baby and got his one on one attention time, super thankful for them and will be returning again!”

“I’m so glad I found Beth. She did an amazing job taking care of my dog on a last minute trip, was communicative, and friendly. My dog had a comfy stay with her. Thank you so much. Highly recommended.”

“Janet has is one of the best sitters around. She really cares about your pups like they are her own family. We have booked with her twice while on vacation in WA and will book with her again anytime we are there. I wish I live closer cause she is absolutely the best.”

“Brooke did amazing with Joey. We set up a meeting beforehand to let the dogs meet, and they all got along swell. She left me pictures and updates on how Joey was doing. My dog looked happy and healthy when I picked her up. I would recommend her if you need your dog taken care of and want peace of mind.”

“My girl is always so happy coming back from Heidi's house. I can tell she is well taken care of and loved while she’s there. Her and Heidi’s dogs get along great, she has a beautiful backyard and I’m confident she’s having the time of her life when I leave her.”

About: I have cared for mostly pit bull type dogs and unwanted other dogs (seniors, chewers)- I have a lot of care and patience for animals of all kinds. I have a full time job during the week but am available weekends and some holidays if you want to go out of town. I usually feel a little guilty leaving my dogs behind while I go camping but many federal lands don’t accept dogs, even on a leash. Just know they will be cared for and played with at my house. I usually get out once a day to go to the parks with my dogs so I would love to take yours too! I feed my dogs a special dinner nightly and in the morning. They have a doggy door they go in and out of to a large fenced back yard. They are allowed on the furniture and are walked to run off leash in a park on a daily basis.
About: I've taken care of the family dogs for as long as I've been conscious enough to and have further sat for family friends and other relatives. I have trained my own puppy (he's almost 3 now), have some experience with administering medication (oral and topical), and have looked after senior dogs in various stages of their old age. I have owned and cared for dogs of various sizes from tiny chihuahuas to larger than average rottweiler mixes and handled many different temperaments. I currently do not have a job, so I am able to spend as long as necessary with your pet. I am free all day on most weekends for things like check ins or walks, but on weekdays I can only do boarding or daycare (as I also lack a car). I have a fully fenced in yard and two friendly (medium to large) dogs to play with (my poodle and my father's Rottweiler). I also have access to a kennel/crate if needed, but my sister's dog broke it, so it's more for dogs that are already crate trained and won't avidly try to get out or dogs that don't need fully kenneled and just need their own space.
“Love the energy she bought. You could tell she loved dogs and her golden, Luke, was a wonderful play mate. I enjoyed all the photos of them playing together and I thought it was super cute that Juno had a bandana on. We've decided to get him one after seeing how adorable he was in it.”

About: I’ve been a dog owner and animal lover my whole life, and I know firsthand how important it is to have someone you truly trust caring for your dog while you’re away. I want every dog in my care to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and right at home. What sets me apart is that your dog won’t simply be “boarded” here — they’ll be welcomed into my home and treated like part of the family. I’m a mom of four boys, so I’m very comfortable managing busy days, routines, lots of activity, and plenty of love and attention! My home is a warm, family environment where dogs can relax, play, get lots of affection, and enjoy being included in everyday life. I’m attentive to each dog’s individual personality and routine and am happy to follow your preferences for feeding, walks, sleeping arrangements, medications, and anything else that helps your dog feel comfortable. I also know how reassuring updates are when you’re away, so I’m happy to send photos and check-ins throughout their stay. My goal is for you to be able to leave your dog knowing they’re safe, loved, and being cared for like one of my own — and for your pup to be excited to come back! I’m also happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking, and sleep schedule as closely as possible. Your dog’s safety and comfort are extremely important to me. I provide a loving, family-centered home where dogs are treated like one of my own. I have four boys who love animals, so dogs staying with me will have plenty of attention and affection! I’ll always follow your instructions regarding feeding, medications, walks, sleeping arrangements, crates, and any special routines. I’m careful about supervising dogs in my care and want every pet to feel safe and comfortable in my home. I have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely get outside for potty breaks, playtime, and fresh air throughout the day. I’m also happy to send regular photos and updates so you can relax knowing your pup is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

“This is the only sitter I would ever take my dog too! My dog absolutely loves it at this sitters house especially since he gets to be around her other 2 dogs, My dog always comes home happy and tired thankfully, I’ve never had to worry about my dog with this sitter!”

“You could tell immediately that Jen and her husband are genuine animal lovers. They both were very welcoming and seemed quite knowledgeable and experienced taking care of dogs (and horses). We experienced car problems on the way to their house and Jen was very understanding about our later than expected arrival. My dog, Noli, had a great time while in their care. They even let her sleep in bed with them even though she isn’t the easiet dog to share a bed with! When it was time for her to go home she jumped on the couch and refused to leave! It took some coaxing to get her off and headed out the door. I definitely will use them again next time I’m in the Yakima area. Thanks Jen!”

“Brittani took great care of our kittens while we were away. She communicated each visit and sent us photos of our cats. We highly recommend booking with her and we’ll be using her again in the future.”

“Jenna is a treasure! We are so thrilled we found a caring, reliable, trustworthy person to take care of our furbabies while we’re away! She did an excellent job caring for each of our cats, with very different personalities & needs. She left us detailed notes, lots of pictures & kept us updated the whole time we were away! Peace of mind is priceless - she’s worth every penny & more! Book with her, you’ll be glad you did!”

“I left a laundry list of things for Audrey to consider when checking in on my cat and she went above and beyond the list. My cat who normally eats less when I’m gone was eating normally and my apt looked cleaner then when I left. I highly recommend Audrey if you’re looking for someone to take care of your pets.”

“Nice and professional. Stayed several days with his fiance to watch my 1 cat. Came back to my apartment just like I left it. Sent daily pictures. Followed all instructions.”

“Peggy was amazing! She communicated well with us before and during our booking. I also appreciated the daily photo updates and the fact that she even took our kitten out on walks!”

“Sarah is really friendly and responsive. She communicated while I was away and was able to treat my cats with the medicine regiment they needed. One of our cats absolutely adored Sarah every time she visited. Definitely recommend.”

About: My neighbors trust me to take care of their furry friends when needed. I’ve since moved away for college and hope to meet more pet parents through Rover! I have a full-time job (can WFH) with a flexible lunch break, so I can take care of your pet throughout the day! I enjoy hiking, and if your dog enjoys the exercise I would appreciate the company. 😆 I’m also studying for the MCAT, so I’d love to have a study buddy. Due to a recent move, I no longer have the capacity to board in my home. However, I’m more than happy to house sit and take care of your pets overnight!
“Hayley was great to work with! My cats were comfortable with her right away, even my more skittish one! She had great vibes & I was confident our babies were well taken care of with her!”

“Kristina D. did a wonderful job. She sent me photos of all of my kitties every day. Two of three were her friends. My fraidy cat even peaked out at her. Felt very safe and confident with her taking care of my fur babies. Would highly recommend her and will be using her again when needed.”

About: My family has had a love for cats that goes as long as I can remember. We raised multiple cats and kittens because my mother’s love for animals, and that really sparked my interest in animal care. As I got a bit older I finally got my own Cat Milo. Milo quickly became the center of my world and ever since i’ve strived to give him the best life possible. With clean litter boxes and fresh food and water whenever need be to make him happy. Recently i’ve gotten my second cat Athena and as the responsibility grows so has my concern for animals health and wellbeing. Having to deal with Athena being a stray and having a few minor infections i’ve dealt with plenty of medicine administrations and extra attentiveness to ensure she doesn’t get sick again. I strive to ensure that all animals in my care are happy and healthy as long as I can help it
“Taya did a wonderful job checking in on my senior cat while I was on vacation. I do not use Rover often and still find it a little strange, but felt very comfortable with Taya after our first meet. She kept me updated and sent pictures. My cat was happy, fed, and had a clean litter box when I got home. Definitely recommend!”

“Brittni was an amazing sitter for my kitty! She’s super responsive, a good communicator, thoughtful, punctual, and really sweet with pets. Luna seemed to warm up to her right away! I’d highly recommend Brittni as a pet sitter and will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Annie had a great time with Britnni and all her fur babies and kids! Such a welcoming environment and lovely yard. Annie loves to run and play so having other doggies for her to play with was great! She came home tired and ready for a nap😊”

“Angela & Ashlyn were great with my Pano. They were able to take him even tho I gave them a very short notice. They were kind and gentle with my older dog. “Janet is amazing! With a dog who struggles with separation anxiety, I was pretty nervous about how she would do in a new setting with unfamiliar people and dogs. Janet worked her magic and got Frida to trust her. My dog typically will pace and not eat if I’m not round, but that was never the case at Janet’s house. After a few days of dog care, Frida is was part of the pack and loved every minute of it.”
About: Hi! I’m Taya (: I live in Cowiche, WA (about 15-20min from Yakima). I’m a 22 year old college student who is a certified animal lover 😊. I’ve grown up surrounded by all animals - dogs, cats, fish, horses, cows etc. I’ve done pet sitting/walking off and on for about 6 years now. My family and I have a few fur babies of our own - 2 Dachshunds, 1 Rottweiler, 1 Belgian Malinois, and 2 cats (: My schedule is pretty flexible, as I take college classes online and I’m a certified HCA/CNA and my schedule for that is not full at the moment. I’d love to be your next pet sitter! I’m available throughout the week and weekends for pet sitting, walking, and in-home visits. I also offer overnight stays in your home! We can definitely always work something out! At my home your pets will be allowed on the couch, bed, chair, pretty much whenever 😅 (if that’s okay with you!) Unfortunately I do not have a fenced yard. However, where I live I’m far from the main road and surrounded by orchards, and my yard is really big and open. I will always be outside with your pets to make sure they remain safe and bring them back inside when done! I can easily crate your pets if wanted/needed. If we are just doing walks or in-home visits, I will follow your instructions on what to do with your fur baby!

About: Hello! My name is ash, I grew up in a loving animal house! As my mom would say I am an animal loving person. I love all different sizes or shapes such as rodents, reptiles, dogs, cats and birds! I have been loving, caring and gentle with animals since I was a little girl. My first ever pet was a puppy, we rescued him from an animal shelter. I have trained, fed and walked him. All of the pets that I have had were guinea pigs, hamsters, hermit crabs, lizards, horses, dogs and cats. So you can say I am an animal lover to the bone. I also have house sit, dog walking and trained a variety of animals for my neighborhood, family members and friend. I currently have a pit/lab mix. I am grateful to be able to give the love and care needed to your fur babies! I am currently a new business owner! So I do still have days off during the week and weekends. I will be communicating to the owners about everything the pet and I have done. From the time I get there and leave.

“Peggy was wonderful and helped us out on a day we had a jam and needed our pup walked. She was very professional and attentive to our active dog. We will be using her again”

About: I’ve had a love for animals since I was a little girl. My mom has always had a love for cats so we got to raise multiple cats and their kittens growing up. When I was 6-8 I finally got the responsibility of my own dog. It was a huge deal to me and taught me so many things I’m glad I was able to learn at a young age. Animals are a huge responsibility, from health to sensory play to ensure the animal is as happy as can be it’s all a big deal to me. When I was 18 I started to work for another at home pet care service and learned even more useful things. How to administer medecine, how to care for senior dogs and their special needs, and how to love and take care of any animal as if it was my own. At 20 I got the pleasure to work at PetSmart Pet Hotel , although it was short lived because of my living situation at the time it taught me a lot. I got to work with all kinds of different dogs and cats with different temperaments and medical needs. From some of the most viscous dogs to the sweetest ones , I always strived to make all of those animals happy as long as they were with me Animal care fits into my everyday life. Having 5 dogs and 2 cats, may seem like a lot to some, but being able to give a home to all my animals while making them happy is such a treasure to me. I have a fenced yard and 5 loud but friendly dogs and 2 cats. My dogs eat on a twice a day schedule to help them stay on a routine and not be all over the place. I take all my dogs (except for the senior) on walks either daily or a few times a week if we chose to do longer hikes at Deep Lake. I strive to keep all my pets happy, clean , and respectful

Even though I’m in school I make lots of time for pet care. I’m available after 3pm on weekdays and completely free all day on weekends so your fur babies will always get attention love and consistent care. I treat every pet like they’re my own. I keep a safe clean, and cozy environment, and I always supervise outdoor time in my fenced yard. I’m gentle, patient, and careful to follow your pet’s routine so they feel safe, relaxed and completely spoiled

“Carol had watched my three dogs and did such an amazing job, we were like "oh no, we're going to come home and our dogs will be bored out of their MINDS after Carol was with them" so we hired her to walk our dogs. When they saw she was visiting again, they were out of their minds with happiness. :) Super reliable, so easy to work with, she sent pics, very communicative and all-around awesome! Thanks Carol!”

“Taya provided excellent and fabulous care. She was enthusiastic and was a pleasure to work with. Indy was well taken care of and I know he enjoyed his time with her. I highly recommended her!”

Reliable, responsive, and genuinely passionate about animals—you can count on me for peace of mind while you’re away. Caring for pets is a natural part of my daily life—it’s something I genuinely enjoy and make time for. I’m organized, reliable, and used to managing routines, so fitting pet care into my day feels seamless. It’s not just a task—it’s something I look forward to, and I treat every visit or walk like it’s the most important part of my day. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions closely—whether it’s feeding, walks, medication, or playtime—to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I also send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.
About: I've had pets my entire life of all types including dogs, cats, and other small animals! I had a cat for 17 years who lived the most luxurious and spoiled life a cat could want, and currently have a little voidling boy with plans to eventually adopt more! I regularly walk and groom dogs at the shelter, I volunteer at the Yakima Humane society and plan to start vet tech school next fall. I work from home as a freelance editor so I can work on my laptop anywhere. I have the ability to work around your busy schedule with ease. During the fall quarter I will be taking a single morning class so I will continue to be available at almost any time you need! I will always heed to the knowledge and advice you have about your own pets needs and combine it with my own expereince as a lifetime pet owner and volunteer. Be it an energetic lovebug that needs extra attention or a senior pet that has special needs, I am capable and happy to care for your pet as if they were my own.
About: I have had animals my whole life, particularly cats and dogs. I am comfortable working with medium and large breed dogs, high energy pets, senior animals, or pets with medical needs. I have helped family and neighbors care for their fur babies and would love the opportunity to help others! I specialize in caring for senior/special needs pets. I had two cats with varying degrees of kidney disease which required special diets and constant monitoring. They made frequent messes so I'm not afraid to clean up pet accidents. I'm happy to help any animals that need some extra care. Dogs staying at my house get potty breaks as often as possible. There will be lots of playtime and naps throughout the day. Dog walks will take place when the weather is decent and typically in the afternoon/evening. If I go out for errands, dogs are expected to stay in a crate (exceptions are considered. Please reach out for more details). Any animal that stays with us will be treated like family. Meet and greets are required for all services (for local clients) to ensure owner(s), sitter, and animals feel comfortable with one another. Dog Boarding/Day Care: I have a large fenced yard and three high energy pups that would enjoy having new friends to play with. I have lots of toys from stuffed to plastic to rope toys to keep them entertained. Dogs should be crate trained in case I need to leave for an errand (exceptions are considered. Please reach out for more details). Dogs must be okay around cats as they may interact with them when they are in the house. Dogs MUST be okay around children as I have a toddler (the child will never be alone with the dog). Dog Walking: We can walk around the neighborhood or go to a park. I will NEVER go to a dog park. I will only bring my dogs along for a walk if approved by the owner. Vaccines: All animals that enter my home must be up-to-date on vaccines. Dogs MUST have rabies and bordetella (kennel cough) vaccines. Owners must provide vaccination records for confirmation. All animals must be treated for fleas and ticks (as a precaution). This is a year-round requirement. I highly recommend Elanco K9 Advantix II for dogs. If needed, I can provide the medicine and apply to the pet for an additional cost (please reach out for more details). Drop Ins: I'm happy to stay for as short or long as needed to take care of the pet (feed, water, potty break, scoop litter box, administer medicine, etc.) and give them attention.

I just recently lost my sweet girl of 13 years and I miss her so! 💗 I work part-time from home, so I’m home and available throughout much of the day to give your dog plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. Pet care fits naturally into my family’s daily routine, and your pup will get lots of love and interaction while they’re here.

“Olivia and her pet crew offered a perfect stay for our dog. He had fun playing and being silly with her pets and that was a perfect fit. The best part was that Olivia is only 30 min to the Gorge and they do not allow dogs at the campsite. So we were able to have our dog on our long road trip with very little inconvenience. Thanks Olivia!”

About: Hello! My name is Taylor and I have always been a huge animal lover. Growing up we always had many pets, and I would often spend my weekends and holidays sitting for friends and family. I have a lot of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and life stages, and especially with blind and deaf dogs. I have a 6 year old Golden of my own who adores other dogs and cats, and tennis balls of course. I work from home and recognize that others may not have this option, so I wanted to open up my home to provide a caring space for other pet owners when needed. I have a fenced in back yard but take my girl out often throughout the day to one of the many parks that are very closeby. Working remotely means I am also flexible in my hours and am able to offer walks and drop ins as needed, always giving each pet as much attention as I can. I treat every animal as I would my own and understand how difficult it can be to be away from them. Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have. Looking forward to meeting you and your four-legged friend soon! Weekends work best, but can entertain on weekdays. Can have up to two more pets to continue the same exercise/play schedule I have for my own pet. I have a laid back dog. I will be around in the mornings and evenings to feed, play and clean up after. With permission, I would love to take your fur baby on walks, hikes, or to the dog park to get some energy out and for mental stimulation.
