About: I have had animal experience since the age of 10. I feel like all animals are family, I hate cruelty to animal I love them as if they were all mine. Their health and behavior are my priority. About: I’ve been caring for animals for 10years and have cared for many different dogs breeds from young to senior. I was raised around many types of animals including horses, dogs, cats. My love for animals shows in my ability to be patient and assess their individual needs. Your animal will be well taken care of and have you feeling worry free. In my home I feed animals 2 times a day at 8am and 8pm. I take dogs out to go to the bathroom at 7:30am, 11:30am, 3:00pm, 6:00pm and lastly at 9:00pm. If your animals needs to go out after that I will do so. I have an unfenced yard but use a staked leash in the ground. I also can take them out on your leash if your more comfortable with that, but if your dog is a jumper (needing a 6ft fence) he/ she will be leashed walked for potty time and can walk them for a good period of time. Everyday at the best weathered part of the day or around noon I will be taking your fur-baby out for at least an hour walk or go to the dog park/ run if allowed during longer stays (more than 2 days). For the animals that I will be taking care of at their home I will feed them on the schedule that you have for them already and as close to those times as possible. I will take them on a 30 min walk at least once a day and give take them out to go to the bathroom once in the morning and once in the evening. If you let me know what needs to be done and it will be done as close to the times as possible Please let me know ahead of time if your dog has any special needs or allergies i.e. seasonal and/or food so I can take the appropriate measures to insure he/she has a wonderful time within those limits. I also request that you let me know of any behavioral needs that he/she has ahead of time. for example if they get along with other dogs and animals, or pull on there leash ( mainly for bigger dogs) etc.
“My kitties are brothers from the same feral mum who are polar emotional opposites. When I first got them, they were only 4 months old. They took us nearly a week to come out of their shells and be themselves. With Cynthia and her family, it appears they only a day or two! When I got them back, Todd (the usually more outgoing kitty) looked somewhat depressed the next day. He seemed to miss his new-found friends and home! Cynthia and he family are wonderful people, with genuine love for animals and their welfare. Not surprising that my cats liked them more than me in a very short space of time!!!”

About: I use gentle, kind, positive training. Safety and well being are my top priorities. I only watch one to two dogs at a time so I can give your dog the attention they need. I treat them as one of the family when they stay with me. My neutered male goldendoodle will love to play with your dog all day. I crate as little as possible. I only crate when I leave the house for a bit and at bedtime. The dogs get to run around in the yard and be supervised for safety. I will throw a ball or stick for the dogs. We have toys, sticks and bones to chew on. If they know how to use a doggy door that's a plus and I am willing to train. I have a 1/2 acre fenced backyard. *Part of my fence is only 4 foot tall, if you think your dog will jump over it, I probably won't be a good fit for you. Your dog's safety and welfare is my highest priority. The dogs have their own area inside my house in the main room by the backdoor slider, they are not allowed to run all over the house or be up on the furniture. They are constantly supervised. The dogs can go in and out of the house all day through their own doggy door, if they don't like the doggy door I will open the back door for them. There is fresh water available inside the house and outside all day long. Your dog will be fed on your current schedule, I try to keep their normal routine as much as possible. I will crate them for bedtime in my kitchen from 9pm to 6am. Bring an item that smells like home for them to sleep with, to help them feel calm.
About: Dogs seem to love me because I love them. We have a lot of fun! I make them feel valued and important. I give them lots of attention and love. Because I'm fair and big on respect, they feel safe loved calm and happy. They really thrive on that Dogs really need to get out run and play. I take them early in the morning and then at dusk. This is important for their mental as well as physical well being. It's the best part of my day. Also I have calm uplifting music playing during the day which aides to a calm relaxed atmosphere and they seem to really enjoy it. I have two dogs that compete and play frisbee and I can teach your dog too. I also like good nutritious treats and make my own. Dogs are God's wonderful complement to mankind. I love them!!!

About: Took care of a natural history museum’s (Sternberg natural history museum) animals for a year. Did the same at a zoo (Rolling Hills Zoo) for 6 years. Studying wildlife biology / pre vet science with the end goal of being a wildlife veterinarian. I’ve personally owned pets all my life including many dogs, cats, fish, insects and lizards. At Cookie's Companions, safety always comes first! We try to meet all of our clients prior to the stay to be sure that pets are comfortable, but we do take same day visits on a case by case basis. If I am dropping in, I follow owner instructions carefully and I come with dog treats at the ready to let your little one know that I am a friend! When walking, leashes are always used, and with large dogs I usually have a second leash that hooks to my waist, just as an added security measure. I always use sidewalks and safety crossings as well.

About: years full of pet experience , house sitting for my aunts & uncles. capable of giving shots to dogs as i have been doing for a year or two watching my aunts dog that is diabetic & needed an insulin shot every time she ate! i am such an animal lover whether your pet needs physical affection or just someone around to keep company. i am currently a student , i have three long days , i am in school monday, tuesday & wednesday from 9am-7:30pm. if your pet is super low maintenance i can be there in the morning before school & come over after school , but thursday-sunday would be best because i am available throughout the whole days those four days for those higher maintenance pets :) i love showing pets the love & attention that they deserve. from belly scratching , toy playing , i am pretty active even small walks for the dogs says a lot! i am unable to board pets at my own home but anytime you need a sitter around im there for your fur babies!

I own my own business so scheduling is not a problem at all I can have plenty of time to play and run around and dig in the yard just kidding LOL I care for them like they're one of my own I walk feed nurture and make sure that they have a loving person with them all the time
About: *** I will be available in Spokane and CDA starting April 10th. Hope to talk to you all soon! I have been a housesitter and petsitter for years. I really enjoy getting to have new pet friends! I have taken care of all sorts of animals--dogs, cats, birds, lizards, hamsters, bunnies, horses, pigs, goats, chickens and even cows! I feel comfortable with pets who have medical issues, as well. I also have done a fair amount of pet massages for dogs and cats (not lizards, though!!) I have an online business, so I usually housesit and work part-time online. This makes it very easy for me to be in a home with pets who need more attention, or dogs that need walked often. I have done all levels of pet care-from simple one hour drop-in visits for cats to feeding and cleaning up for horses and cows (extra fee for that!!) So, I am very versatile with my clients! I also find that I bond easily with pets, and can often connect to shy or nervous cats and dogs by being present, calm and talking to them. I also know to leave someone alone when they just don't want to connect. I usually do lots of walks and playing together as well as simply sitting and petting and offering yummy treats!
About: I have owned and loved on numerous dogs my entire life. I can never remember a time when I didn't have a tail waggin', face lickin', life long companion. No special skills here, just a heart that overflows for all dogs. I am a newly retired school district worker. My true passion has always been in taking care of animals. I don't really travel and what a better way to spend my days I have a huge fenced yard and a walking trail right behind my house that I use on a regular basis. Your furry friend will be allowed to roam wherever and sleeping on the furniture will never be a problem.
