“Jessica did such a fantastic job and I was so pleased! I was concerned about my younger cat because of an abusive background and because he didn't do well when I was gone for two days. This time I was leaving for five so I really wanted someone who would spend a bit of time getting to know them and letting them know they weren't alone. My Lilybug usually hides from all strangers and from the pictures I could see that she was out and about, concerned, but not hiding. Firefly (the one that was abused) also appeared to adapt to her well. When I got home after five days, both cats reacted like I had just been gone for a day! They were well taken care of and I will use Jessica in the future.”

About: We've had pets in my home since I was a baby, so I'm very familiar with caring for different types of dogs and cats, from super energetic to one's that love and need their own space. I've done dog walking and sitting, as well as cat sitting. I'm currently a student athlete at UAFS, so I have less availability during the week than I do on the weekends, which are completely free. If there is a day on the weekend that isn't I will let you know in advance. If your pet does need more care during the week, we can absolutely work something out that's the best for them and my classes. I'm a super flexible as a person, so whether your pet needs ample play time and attention, or just needs a calming presence with them while you're away or at work, I can accommodate both. If you'd rather me be there for just a check in walk/feeding and then leave, that's also completely fine.

About: I was Blessed with a Tortoiseshell cat for 15 years named Penelope Rose. Pets truly help us through the hardest times of our lives and we help them in return. They do find us, for sure. She was developed cat asthma (rare) and medication was not helping her so I put her down and that was my last pet years ago. I grew up having a grey Siamese cat. Both cats followed me everywhere. Every cat I meet has a unique personality that I love getting to know each and every one. Cats make me feel very calm & relaxed and I feel I have that same effect on them as well. I like the idea of sometime developing a cat toy line because I used to make so many homemade, safe ones when I was growing up. I understand Dogs & Cats and they seem to get me too. I used to foster a 3-legged handi-capable cat and an amazing 1-eyed cat (who is older than 20 years and is now blind). She keeps on going that sweet girl! Shes got a great will to live. I have been watching animals since I was 16, and have always loved it. I have watched all different kinds of animals from pigs and chicken all the way to bunnies and reptiles. I live in a house with a great yard (unfenced) with my dog Mochi. My dog is a female Doberman who LOVES to play. Mochi is extremely energetic so we do play and walk a lot. If your dog is similar, and as energetic as Mochi, then this would be a great spot for them! I’m currently running dog/cat sitting as a full time business, so I have all the time in the world. I also work part time for another company with hours around 11am-1pm. Whenever dogs visit they get free roam of the house along with my pup! Dogs do remain on leashes when going outside as I don’t have a fence. Dogs are not allowed unattended outside at all.

About: Ive taken care of friends, family and neighbors pets since I was a young child. I’ve worked with animals in multiple different environments and I can administer medication as well as provide a bath using my pet grooming station. I’m an animal lover of all kinds even the “big scary mean ones”. I lead a very active lifestyle and would love to be able to share that with your furry friend whenever you’re not able too! I also love teaching and training. There’s no better feeling for myself than when I can connect with an animal and build a bond. I’m currently working part time so I have a lot of available time to get outside and play with your furry friends. I take my own cats on walks several times a day we eat three limited ingredient meals a day and take regular baths and grooming sessions. Needless to say I never run out of time when it comes to spending time with any animals. I don’t have a yard however I have a big comfy couch and two very friendly cats that love dogs ready to play! I also live near a lot of dog parks including sellwood dog park and love going on tons of walks and runs throughout the day. I have a very clean home and a crate incase it’s needed I can also separate my cats away if needed pretty much can work around anything I’ve even got an elevator.

“Overall, had a really great experience leaving my pup with Araceli! I happened to be gone two weekends in a row and I was really grateful to be able to have my dog in the same place. He really enjoyed playing with their dog and in their big yard! The only bummer is that both weekends I asked Araceli to give my puppy a specific supplement after dinner and that didn’t happen, even after I reminded her for the second weekend. She is very sweet and would work with her again!”
