About: Hi there my name is Kelsey and I have centered my life around the health and well being of our furry friends. I spent 6 years working in pet insurance and have gained a lot of knowledge about how to create healthy and safe environments for our animals. The key is giving them time to warm up to a new environment, routine care and lots of affection. My own dog turns 15 this year and people still ask me if she is a puppy because of how active and happy she is around others. I always treat every animal as if they are my own and would be honored to do so for your pet too. I spend the majority of my time at home, hanging out in the backyard and have a pretty flexible schedule. We’d go outside at least 5-10 times a day, always early in the morning and right before bed. He prioritized a meet’n’greet to make sure all dogs felt comfortable; I was at ease instantly seeing him work the dogs through calming exercises to get to know each other. About: I have walked and have had overnight stays with my neighbors dogs for 6 years now. From big dogs to small dogs and even cats! I prefer no aggressive breeds(pits, shepherds, no huskies etc) I am pretty free during the week now that my daughter has started school. I am a musician also so I am out of town sometimes for shows and gigs, but I do have free time too! If I am not here my parents are wonderful at caring for dogs and have a ton experience so they can also watch your dogs. I don’t have a fenced yard, but I do have a big yard and there are great walking trails around my house. There is also a doggy park near by. “We “hit the jackpot” in finding Shannon & Bert! Our 9-year Bernedoodle (Griffey) is still a “puppy at heart” ..very active and excitable! To prepare for a week long stay, we did 3 days of daycare with Shannon & Bert. They kept us informed each day, and by the time our vacation arrived Griffey was accustomed to going there. Throughout our trip they put our minds at ease with their updates & photos! Knowing that Griffey was being so well cared for allowed us to thoroughly enjoy our trip!
