I also am very understanding about separation anxiety as someone who has worked at rescues. For walks I require a harness or collar the dog cannot slip out of. I require an in person meeting beforehand, if doggy play dates with my dog are requested we must meet on neutral ground first to see how they interact.

About: I won't just treat them as a "pet" I treat all animals as family. I have taken care of various dog and cats from family members and friends since I was a child. This included staying over, walking, feeding, training and playing. At the moment I am pursuing schooling for dog training so I have open availability I usually ask for a days notice but it never hurts to ask. About: I discovered my love for animals when my mom rescued a Shiba Inu shortly after my dad died. Since then, I've made every effort to learn as much as I can about cats and dogs, including going to professional grooming school and I'm currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer. Most of my experience with cats has come from my sister and her roommate, but I love cats just as much as I love dogs I do have another part time job, but scheduling is flexible so I'll have plenty of time in the day to check on your buddy! I'm very conscious of their safety and always use a leash, always make sure fenced areas are secure, and that there's no toxic plants around them. About: I’ve had 2 shihtzus since they were 8 weeks old. Have lost both within the last 2 years at ages 15 and 17. Me and hubby enjoyed them and we miss them terribly. I love strolls around the block and playtime. Serious lap time and undivided attention is awaiting your special fur baby, as I am retired and at home full time. Each year I go to Utah to dog sit for my middle son for 2 weeks while they vacation. They’ve had a Rottweiler, Berniedoodle and Yorkies. The big guys loved TAKING ME on daily walks around their local park. I always took my 2 shihtzus swimming every time we went boating. Perfect day in my opinion!!! I am retired and available most of the time. Short trips to the grocery store or other errands are basically the only time I leave. I have a fenced yard and plenty of room inside and outside. Special diets or medications are not a problem. I liked to wash my dogs faces after mealtimes. They can sleep in my bed, or not. Your preference.

Neighbors and friends have found me to be a reliable and respectful sitter and I’ve enjoyed all my walks and park trips! I work part time and have a flexible schedule! I usually work early afternoon to five or nine and have off days during the week. I’m available to do walks or check ins the morning and then also in the afternoon/night as long as there’s still some daylight or good street light.

I know it's hard for them and hard for you to be away from them, so never hesitate to text or facetime. I will make sure your pets don't feel alone or abandoned, and that they get exercise, affection, and plenty of food, water, treats, pets, play time, and outdoor time. About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life from dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and I’ve had experience with goats, sheep, cows, geese, ducks, exc. I helped someone who had dogs that had puppies and that was challenging but an amazing experience. I’ve got lots of love and experience with all different dog breeds & temperaments. I currently have dogs, cats, chickens, and geese of my own! I am currently a stay at home parent to two kiddos. One is in school so most of my days are free. Tuesdays & Thursdays late afternoon/evening are blocked out as we have a prior commitment of gymnastics. I have a fenced yard at home but I do live in the woods and have some bit of land that is not immediately fenced off. I always keep a close watch on my pets daytime or nighttime and I would do the same for yours if they were at my home. I would follow the pet owners lead and what they feel is best for their pets at their own home and do my best to go above & beyond meeting the fur baby needs/owners needs.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I could remember! I’ve lived on a farm and find pleasure in tending to animal needs! Pets are therapeutic and are make great buddies for outdoor activities! I’m currently working full-time and have availability in the late afternoon (after 3PM) to tend to your pets desires! I typically work mornings 7AM-3PM. I enjoy working with people and animals, and find them to truly make a difference in our outlooks in life! I unfortunately currently am unable to board animals or do day care at my home. I really enjoy getting to have new pet friends! I have taken care of all sorts of animals--dogs, cats, birds, lizards, hamsters, bunnies, horses, pigs, goats, chickens and even cows! I feel comfortable with pets who have medical issues, as well. I also have done a fair amount of pet massages for dogs and cats (not lizards, though!!) I have an online business, so I usually housesit and work part-time online. This makes it very easy for me to be in a home with pets who need more attention, or dogs that need walked often. I have done all levels of pet care-from simple one hour drop-in visits for cats to feeding and cleaning up for horses and cows (extra fee for that!!) So, I am very versatile with my clients! I also find that I bond easily with pets, and can often connect to shy or nervous cats and dogs by being present, calm and talking to them. I also know to leave someone alone when they just don't want to connect. I usually do lots of walks and playing together as well as simply sitting and petting and offering yummy treats!
About: We always had multiple animals growing up! Dogs, cats, hamsters even! I absolutely love animals and pet sitting allows me to get pet time in since we don’t have pets. It’s also gives my three year old son chances to get used to pets. He loves all animals but cats especially. Just like his mama! I always bring my fiancé & son to the meet & greet. That way you know who will be in your personal space and Incase my fiancé needs to do a drop in due to my work schedule. It is important for the dogs to be kid friendly but can work around it and avoid bringing my son. *** rates are flexible! They may change if you are far away considering gas prices. It is very easy to work pet care into my routine. I typically work from 4pm to 11pm, 3 to 4 nights a week. Although my fiancé will be available if a drop in is needed during that time. My schedule fluctuates but I always will keep you in the loop on if he needs to go. If you’re okay with it during the initial meet & greet. It has not created an issue in the past:) In clients homes I’ll sure the animal has fresh water & is fed correctly. We make sure to give treats if allowed and lots and lots of play time. Along with snuggles if the pet enjoys them!
