About: My first job was a at a doggy daycare/ boarding facility but I have been pet sitting since I was 12. I’ve worked with puppies all the way through seniors receiving cancer treatment. I have a playful golden retriever who adores all animals big and small. I have experience bathing and giving insulin to cats too. I volunteered at a rescue ranch for a number of years and have experience with livestock. I personally have ducks, chickens, reptiles and a senior cat as companions for my golden. I am currently working 3 days a week for a tax office and am unavailable from January to April. On my off days I hike and take my golden to the river. I have a contract that I have been using since 2010 that outlines my safety procedures. When I am in a clients home I always have them review it and do a walk around of the home with them. From my years at doggy daycare I am pretty familiar with certain breed characteristics like the awesome heights husky’s can jump or the tunneling ability of a weenie. I also am very understanding about separation anxiety as someone who has worked at rescues. For walks I require a harness or collar the dog cannot slip out of. I require an in person meeting beforehand, if doggy play dates with my dog are requested we must meet on neutral ground first to see how they interact.

About: I won't just treat them as a "pet" I treat all animals as family. I have taken care of various dog and cats from family members and friends since I was a child. This included staying over, walking, feeding, training and playing. At the moment I am pursuing schooling for dog training so I have open availability I usually ask for a days notice but it never hurts to ask. I have had experience with larger dogs (German shepherds, Great Pyerenese, Pitbulls and Saint Bernards) as well as small dogs (Chihuahua's, Shih Tzu and Dachshunds). About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life from dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and I’ve had experience with goats, sheep, cows, geese, ducks, exc. I helped someone who had dogs that had puppies and that was challenging but an amazing experience. I’ve got lots of love and experience with all different dog breeds & temperaments. I currently have dogs, cats, chickens, and geese of my own! I am currently a stay at home parent to two kiddos. One is in school so most of my days are free. Tuesdays & Thursdays late afternoon/evening are blocked out as we have a prior commitment of gymnastics. I have a fenced yard at home but I do live in the woods and have some bit of land that is not immediately fenced off. I always keep a close watch on my pets daytime or nighttime and I would do the same for yours if they were at my home. I would follow the pet owners lead and what they feel is best for their pets at their own home and do my best to go above & beyond meeting the fur baby needs/owners needs.

About: I discovered my love for animals when my mom rescued a Shiba Inu shortly after my dad died. Since then, I've made every effort to learn as much as I can about cats and dogs, including going to professional grooming school and I'm currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer. Most of my experience with cats has come from my sister and her roommate, but I love cats just as much as I love dogs I do have another part time job, but scheduling is flexible so I'll have plenty of time in the day to check on your buddy! I'm very conscious of their safety and always use a leash, always make sure fenced areas are secure, and that there's no toxic plants around them. “During my visit to Coeur 'd Alene, we had some activities planned that were not suitable for dogs. I turned to Rover after reading some troubling reviews on the local pet resorts. And I could not be happier that I went this route! After reading several profiles and reviews, I found Carolyn and she was quick to respond to my last minute request, literally the night before we needed a sitter. After sharing a little information back and forth, she agreed to take our girl Shelby for the day. I can't express enough how very blessed and fortunate I was to have found Carolyn. Upon meeting her, and dropping off Shelby the next morning, I felt an instant connection, and she was gracious in sending me updates and pics throughout the day to provide assurance that Shelby was doing fine! We continued to use Carolyn's services for several more days, and each morning when we arrived, Shelby was excited to see her, and to go play with the other dogs in her care. Carolyn provided a good balance of outdoor play and indoor rest to ensure that the dogs didn't get too overheated. She was incredibly flexible and accommodating with drop off and pickup times as well. I will close with saying that Carolyn is an absolute sweetheart, and that I gained a new friend in Coeur 'd Alene! I look forward to using her services when visiting the area again. She will take care of your pet as if it were her own.”

I also find that I bond easily with pets, and can often connect to shy or nervous cats and dogs by being present, calm and talking to them. I also know to leave someone alone when they just don't want to connect. I usually do lots of walks and playing together as well as simply sitting and petting and offering yummy treats!

About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life from dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and I’ve had experience with goats, sheep, cows, geese, ducks, exc. I helped someone who had dogs that had puppies and that was challenging but an amazing experience. I’ve got lots of love and experience with all different dog breeds & temperaments. I currently have dogs, cats, chickens, and geese of my own! I am currently a stay at home parent to two kiddos. One is in school so most of my days are free. Tuesdays & Thursdays late afternoon/evening are blocked out as we have a prior commitment of gymnastics. I have a fenced yard at home but I do live in the woods and have some bit of land that is not immediately fenced off. I always keep a close watch on my pets daytime or nighttime and I would do the same for yours if they were at my home. I would follow the pet owners lead and what they feel is best for their pets at their own home and do my best to go above & beyond meeting the fur baby needs/owners needs.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I could remember! I’ve lived on a farm and find pleasure in tending to animal needs! Pets are therapeutic and are make great buddies for outdoor activities! I’m currently working full-time and have availability in the late afternoon (after 3PM) to tend to your pets desires! I typically work mornings 7AM-3PM. I enjoy working with people and animals, and find them to truly make a difference in our outlooks in life! I unfortunately currently am unable to board animals or do day care at my home. About: My first job was a at a doggy daycare/ boarding facility but I have been pet sitting since I was 12. I’ve worked with puppies all the way through seniors receiving cancer treatment. I have a playful golden retriever who adores all animals big and small. I have experience bathing and giving insulin to cats too. I volunteered at a rescue ranch for a number of years and have experience with livestock. I personally have ducks, chickens, reptiles and a senior cat as companions for my golden. I am currently working 3 days a week for a tax office and am unavailable from January to April. On my off days I hike and take my golden to the river. I have a contract that I have been using since 2010 that outlines my safety procedures. When I am in a clients home I always have them review it and do a walk around of the home with them. From my years at doggy daycare I am pretty familiar with certain breed characteristics like the awesome heights husky’s can jump or the tunneling ability of a weenie. I also am very understanding about separation anxiety as someone who has worked at rescues. For walks I require a harness or collar the dog cannot slip out of. I require an in person meeting beforehand, if doggy play dates with my dog are requested we must meet on neutral ground first to see how they interact.
About: I am Suzy I grew up on a farm in a small town. I just retired from being a private hospice caregiver. I have experience with dogs, cats, cows, pigs, goats and horses. I have had my own dogs and cats and started helping more with pet sitting and dog walking for friends and family. I have an alternative medicine degree and it has helped me not only in my personal life but also with my animals lives. I am good with dogs and cats that have high energy and separation anxiety. I am loving being retired and building my pet sitting business that revolves around cuddles with cats and dogs. I started doing this because I have 3 grand pups and 1 grand cat along with 1 human grand daughter and it has brought me peace and happiness. I was lost on what I wanted to do with this part of my life. I immensely enjoy pet sitting and meeting new pet owners and pets. I am not in a position to have pets at my home. However in your home I am there to help your animal not feel alone by giving them the attention they need or what you have requested.

About: I’ve taken care of a variety of animals from dogs to cats, turtles and lizards. Neighbors and friends have found me to be a reliable and respectful sitter and I’ve enjoyed all my walks and park trips! I work part time and have a flexible schedule! I usually work early afternoon to five or nine and have off days during the week. I’m available to do walks or check ins the morning and then also in the afternoon/night as long as there’s still some daylight or good street light.
