About: We've had pets in my home since I was a baby, so I'm very familiar with caring for different types of dogs and cats, from super energetic to one's that love and need their own space. I've done dog walking and sitting, as well as cat sitting. I'm currently a student athlete at UAFS, so I have less availability during the week than I do on the weekends, which are completely free. If there is a day on the weekend that isn't I will let you know in advance. If your pet does need more care during the week, we can absolutely work something out that's the best for them and my classes. I'm a super flexible as a person, so whether your pet needs ample play time and attention, or just needs a calming presence with them while you're away or at work, I can accommodate both. If you'd rather me be there for just a check in walk/feeding and then leave, that's also completely fine.
About: I have taken care of a dog, a cat, and farm animals since I was 12 years old. I love walking long distances with my dog. I am also very good at reading animal body language and I know how to do all of the basic animal care necessities. I do have a golden retriever and our schedule that your dog would also follow unless they’re special needs is we wake up at seven am, we go outside to go potty, then feed them they play and rest then we go for a walk. Then later I give them their second feeding, take them out to go to the bathroom and take a small walk in our neighborhood before it’s time to rest and chill and head to bed. He is also an animal lover, and if I am housesitting, he travels with me as well as my very friendly golden retriever. I work 7 days on 7 days off. During my off time I’m home without any other responsibilities and have all day to take care of your best friend. About: I was born into a family of German Shepherd lovers, and grew up primarily taking care of our German Shepherds until about 10 years old when we also adopted cats and labradors. Once I graduated college, I adopted an 8 week old Alaskan malamute, who I cared for his entire 11 years of life until he passed just recently this past January. “Once again Shasta was AMAZING! I never been away from my pup so long (2 weeks!) before and it was really hard for me. Shasta sent me lots of pictures and videos showing me how happy Remington was, how much fun he was having with her family, and how well he was doing. That helped tremendously. When I returned home she had bathed him, washed all of his bedding, and he was in happy spirits. I couldn’t be happier with a dog sitter. Shasta goes above and beyond! I absolutely recommend her to anyone!”

There were other dogs that they were taking care of and they did an amazing job at getting everyone along. Emma sent me ample updates and photos. We FaceTimed a couple times while I was gone too so I could really see his demeanor and he was so chilled out and comfy with her, just snuggling through the morning. I would absolutely recommend Genevieve to watch friends dogs and will reach out to her in the future for any dog watching needs!!”
