I was able to do a meet and greet prior where my dog, Trowa, was able to meet the other sweet pups staying at Jerrie’s. Jerrie sent updates twice a day with tons of photos of all of the fun they were having which made us feel much more comfortable having Trowa stay somewhere else while we were gone. About: Hi there! I’ve been house sitting and dog walking for family friends since I was around 10. I’ve grown up with many responsibilities on a cattle farm and love spending time with ALL animals! I also work at a dog kennel in Montesano WA, where I take care of many dogs and cats, making sure they are comfortable and get lots of love. I currently go to Adna Highschool where I compete in basketball and softball, so I’ve been looking for a flexible job to work during season! I have two dogs of my own, a silver lab and a heeler, they are well loved and played with lots on the daily. I have lots of experience with high maintenance water dogs and energetic farm dogs!

About: Our dogs have been our best friends for 20 years. We give them the treatment they deserve such as tons of pampering, love and care! In the other hand, Kai is a medium size old doggy, he gets very excited with new pets but a few minutes later he just ignore them and likes to go back to take long naps on the couch. I have 2 friendly indoor cats, they mostly spend the day sleeping inside the bedroom or playing with the dogs from time to time.

About: I don’t have professional pet care experience but I have had animals my whole life. When I was young I had a car, a shitzu dog another dog I can’t remember the breed, a Rottweiler shepherd mix, and full German shepherd. I currently have 2 black lab hound mixes! I absolutely love and adore animals! This will be my job and I love being around dogs of all kind! I would be honored to house sit take your dog on a walk or even just drop by for a potty break! I will make sure to follow the owners rules and make sure the pet has everything it needs I will take it to use the bathroom I will play and make sure they are kept fed and always have water and if it needs medicine I’ll distribute the medicine as directed by owner!

About: Since I was young, I have always had large breed dogs in the household, Rottweilers and German Shepards, and have always been comfortable with them. While in high-school and college, my fiance and I raised puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind, 4 of our 5 puppies finished the program and were matched with people in need. We helped co-raise around 6 additional puppies as well. We also love cats, we have a tabby-calico mix named Teva, a lyxn point siamese named Minnie, and a gray siamese mix named Baby. Pima, one of the puppies that did not complete the program has been with us for 11 years now, and we have loved every moment of it. Unfortunately Pima passed away from cancer, but we do have a new addition to the family! We now have a big boy named Koa, an 80 lb American Rottweiler mix we adopted after he was found roaming Lacey Wa. He was very aggressive and untrained when we adopted him, but now he is the prime example of a model dog with our training! My schedule is very open. My wife is a school teacher so I do prefer to have the weekend off, but weekend visits are fine as well. I do have a fully fenced yard, our cats are indoor only, but one does go outside on a leash because she is adventurous. Very respectful of other's space.

About: My name is Kaitlyn, and I'm a dog trainer in the Grays Harbor area. I have been successfully working with owners to rehabilitate fearful and/or reactive dogs for almost a decade now. I have also been a competitive dog agility instructor for 7 years. My own dog is Oakley, a Miniature American Shepherd, and he helps me with fearful or reactive dog clients by being a neutral dog with great communication skills. Before becoming a dog trainer full time, I worked at a dog daycare in Mukilteo for 3 years. It was a great experience and gave me a lot of knowledge about dog behavior and handling large groups of dogs. I compete in seven different dog sports with my own dogs, but we love agility and flyball most. I am available whenever I'm not already teaching classes or at a competition. Scheduling is open as we just moved to the new area from Seattle. I am experienced with dogs who are difficult or nervous around strangers. I use scientifically backed, LIMA guided dog training to guide dogs through their feelings as gently as I am capable while accomplishing learning. In any case, I like to engage with dogs in a way that's most comfortable for them. Each dog is different! I am not comfortable taking unfamiliar dogs off leash outside of the home or yard for safety reasons, but I am happy to work on this skill with them if requested!
About: I've raised 2 dogs and have taken care of friends' and co-workers' dogs for nearly 40 years. I love snuggling with and playing fetch with dogs of all ages. I don't watch much t.v. so, most of my time would be spent enjoying your friend/family member's company! I can't wait!!! I work from home most days and I typically work Monday through Friday. On the weekends I don't work, so I will be fully engrossed in play with your loved one! I live in a cute little house with a small back yard, but have a big middle school one street away where I take doggies to play and walk. There's also a really close park and tons of walking paths nearby.

About: I can hardly remember a time where i didnt have at least one pet. About: I grew up with dogs I had 5 growing up a boxer 2 labs a chihuahua and a pekingese. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes and am comfortable with providing care and scratches for any breed. I'm working part time at the moment so I have plenty of time open in my schedule to watch house or walk your dog as needed. In your home I can go by your instructions same as my residence. All my kiddos are friendly and loving towards every new friend they meet! Your baby will be accepted as one of family in a well structured environment. Depending on every pups personal preference, I do slow distanced introductions and eventually close the gap till everyone is comfortable. Once introduced as friends, we can do all activities as a group!

Our girls usually don't eat much/if at all when staying with a dog sitter because they get separation anxiety being away from their family but they ate with Margaret which told me everything. Our girls were happy, safe, and comfortable. Margaret's other dog Mochi was a sweet heart too who was patient with our nervous pups. One of our dogs is scared of any dog bigger than her but Mochi gave her space and was gentle during our meet and greet. The pictures I received showed me how relaxed the pups were, which is exactly what they needed. We have definitely found a go-to dog sitter :).”

Scott made sure to set up a time for us to visit him and his partner, Kevin, at their home and give Tucker a chance to meet their sweet boy, Nico. They became instant play buddies. Scott asked very detailed questions about Tucker’s habits and tendencies and made sure to write down every detail.
