“Deidre is the best! She took care of our two very energetic dogs for four days and it went great! Deidre is an excellent communicator and a wonderful dog whisperer. We’ll definitely be asking for her to care for the dogs again.”

“I was blown away by April's positive attitude and dedication to caring for my golden retriever. She meticulously created a safe, pack-like environment where the dogs felt at home, and the areas were exceptionally clean. Even more impressive were her plans to enhance her already wonderful outdoor space. As a side note, April is a certified dog trainer. Shortly after dropping off my dog and running errands in town, I noticed her diligently and patiently leash-training my dog during a walk, as my GPS took me back past her location. April never mentioned this task on Rover or in person; she simply did it on her own time, free of charge, without boasting. Her quiet integrity and humility are extraordinarily impressive. Best Rover experience so far!”

“Top notch intuitive sitter with a keen eye for my dog's unique mental and physical wellbeing. I feel confident in her ability to provide the care and support for my Dog with a severe food allergy. I was also pleased that her partner also was aligned with providing a watchful eye for her too.”

This was the first time boarding our rescue dog, and she can’t wait to go back! Lots of pictures and updates to put your mind at ease.”

“My dogs obviously felt comfortable with Nicole and her dogs right from the start. She’s got a nice big fenced yard and they had fun playing together. She really helped me out in a pinch!”

“Barbara is the perfect sweetheart to leave your pup with. Uly felt so at home with her …immediately! Her back yard is divine for zoomies and she even took Uly different places for walks… like a surprise daily field trip!! He was such a happy kid we we picked him up. Barbara’s a gem you can trust :) with your pup!”

She took lovely photos and kept me updated on my cat’s eating and litter activities, which I appreciated and made me feel confident that all was well. About: Hi there, I am a lifelong animal lover with over 15 years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I have worked as a veterinary technician for 3 years, so I’m confident handling dogs with medical needs and have plenty of experience administering medications safely and calmly. I’m home full-time, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, love, and one-on-one care throughout the day. Whether your dog loves long walks, snuggles on the couch, or just someone to keep them company, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and right at home. I’m comfortable with all schedule types—early mornings, late nights, weekends—and am happy to tailor care to your dog’s specific needs and routine. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member! 🐾 I am a stay at home mom so my schedule is extreamly flexible! I am home most of the day usually aside from the occasional grocery run/ errand and can switch things around for your pets needs! In my home, I have a large back yard (non fenced), dogs are allowed on furniture if that makes them more comfortable, since I am home all day, food and water can be readily available at anytime as well. If I am watching them in your home, it’s whatever your needs may be is what I can do! I am happy to take them on walks, play fetch outside or just chill inside with them!
About: Hi, I’m Kylie! I’m an absolute animal lover who truly believes that our pets aren’t just animals—they’re family. I’ve spent the last four years walking and watching over dogs for friends and family, and I’m so excited to bring that same love and care to your fur babies. My Professional Experience: I spent a year working at the Coeur d'Alene Pet Resort, where I cared for dogs of all shapes and sizes. That experience was a 'deep dive' into professional pet care—I monitored daycare playgroups, cleaned kennels, and followed strict feeding schedules. Most importantly, I’m very comfortable administering medications and handling special dietary needs. At the resort, safety was always our #1 goal, and that’s a promise I bring into every walk and drop-in I do today. What Our Time Together Looks Like: I work from home part-time, which gives me great flexibility to provide the attention your pets deserve. Whether your dog is a high-energy athlete who needs a long run or a senior pup who just wants a slow stroll and some extra head scratches, I’ve got it covered. When you book with me, you’re getting: Total Reliability: I’m punctual and follow your instructions to the letter. Tons of Love: I don’t just 'watch' pets; I play with them, snuggle them, and make sure they feel totally at home. Photo Updates: I love capturing happy moments! I’ll send you plenty of updates so you can see your pet thriving. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your four-legged family members. Let's get a meet-and-greet on the calendar! I work from home part-time, which gives me a very flexible schedule to prioritize pet care. I love using my breaks to get outdoors for walks or provide attentive drop-in visits. Because I’m already home, I can easily maintain your pet’s specific feeding and potty routines, ensuring they have consistent company and exercise throughout the week. I specialize in providing high-quality care directly in your pet's own environment where they feel most comfortable. Because I have a senior dog and a dog with special medical needs at home, I choose not to host other pets in my house. Instead, I bring my full attention to yours! During visits, I focus on maintaining your pet's specific routine—whether that’s a structured walk, fresh water and feedings, or just some quality snuggle time on the couch. I’m very comfortable with the 'behind the scenes' of a home, from bringing in mail to ensuring everything is locked up and secure. My goal is for your pets to feel like their best friend is just stopping by to hang out while you're away.

About: I've had experience caring for cats since adopting my first cat after leaving the Army, who was a big part of my life for many years. Now I have Junkyard Lucy, who we rescued as a kitten and has grown into a sweet, affectionate member of our family. I'm also comfortable with daily care like feeding, litter box maintenance, and recognizing behavior changes, but I also understand that every cat is different. Some are social and playful, while others prefer quiet space. I take the time to respect each cat's personality and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

About: Cats are quite literally my favorite animal. I am a proud cat mom to a sweet and sassy Tuxedo cat but my cat care experience doesn’t end there. I grew up in a household that has been home to over 30 cats! Rescuing cats has been a passion of my family’s for longer than I can remember. I'm familiar with administering medications and, of course, no stranger to a good litter box cleaning. I promise I will love your cat like one of my own and make them feel comfortable while you are away!

About: My mother has always been the friend that would take care of everyone's dog or cat ever since I was little. So, I have been surrounded by animals my whole life and learned how to take care of many different breeds, ages and personalities. Once I got my license, my friend's and family friend's entrusted me with taking care of their dogs at their home and had many experiences of house sitting with them. Before joining Rover, I was an employee through the Fetch! dog walking and pet care agency over the summer of 2025. I had my own clientele for which I would walk their dogs' multiple times a week. I also provided extended stays for house sitting in which I frequently took care of multiple dogs at once. I have owned cats my whole life, but dogs have always been a constant in my life as well through these dog sitting experiences and briefly fostering a chihuahua who eventually went to a family friend. I would be so delighted to take care of your dog or cat! Whether that be for walks, check-ins or house sitting, I have a flexible schedule and would love to spend my time with your pets. Their happiness and safety will always come first! I am currently a student at WSU, but I have a flexible schedule to take care of your furbabies. Please reach out to me if you have any questions. I promise to always keep a close eye on your animals and monitor them on their behavior, and eating or drinking patterns to make sure nothing is out of the normal for your furbaby. I will always set a side a, if not multiple, chunks of time to ensure they are enriched with playtime. Please also let me know your pet's quirks, triggers, and/or medications that they might have or need, so I can be well equipped while they are in my care.
About: I grew up in a household full of cats, dogs, birds, reptiles and fish. My first pet as a wee one was a Tarantula name Suzie. Since moving to Whidbey Island 11 years ago I have worked professionally to care for animals on a number of levels from Dog Runner to Veterinarian Technician. Though I don't have any fur-babies currently, my husband and I heartbreakingly lost our two beloved fur-kids to cancer since moving here - a Husky mix and a Pitbull mix, I still find joy in caring for others' pets. From cuddles & cookies (if diet allows) to exercise & basic training (if warranted and wanted) I am here for you and your beloved pet. I can also administer medications if needed. I am primarily offering dog walking and drops-ins at this time. I am open to discuss any house sitting needs, if my schedule is open to accommodate them. I know pets are more comfortable being in their own home with familiar surroundings, sights and smells. I am respectful and mindful of your property and will treat your home as I would my own when providing drop-in visits, walks with your dog(s), as well as over night stays with your pet(s) in your home. When on walks I will provide as much energy as your dog needs, slow leisurely walk around the neighborhood or a run around the block. If you are near a hiking trail I would be happy to provide a hike with your dog(s) if that is ok with you. More details to be discussed at meet and greet or before service is provided.

About: Cats can be more standoffish than dogs at times, and thats totally okay! Everyone needs their alone time and still get the quality (royal) treatment they deserve. Ive also taken care of cats from the age of 9 years old. While I grew up with 4 dogs in my house, it was always me bring in the stray kitties. Ive seen them at their worst, at their best and inbetween. I've even given cpr to a cat one time. I love all animals, but cats have a special place in my heart and yours will occupy that same space. Rather they want to yell at me to feed them for the 100th time or stay far away in their preferred solitude. Black cats are especially sweethearts and orange cats are always chaotic, but theyre all babies just the same.

“Bridgette kept my cat company for four days and did a great job. Simba is normally very aloof and leery of strangers but even when Bridgette came over to meet us before my trip he was quite comfortable with her. During the stay, from the photos and notes Bridgette sent me, I could see that he warmed up to Bridgette immediately. A huge bonus was that Bridgette watered a few of my house plants and left my house exactly as I’d left it. The next time I travel I hope Bridgette will be available!”

“Nicole & Cody were exactly what we were looking for in the Oak Harbor area. Not only did they keep our pup, safe, but communicated easily, and ensured a worn out pup was returned after a fun filled day. Would definitely recommend.”

“Hazel had a blast hanging out with Jax! She came home happy, tired, and well cared for. It was clear she had a wonderful time, and we’d definitely trust Virginia with Hazel again!”

About: Owned and cared for pets, which were mostly dogs & cats (but also snakes, rabbits, a chicken, etc., my entire life . Currently have one neutered male who loves a playmate to chase around the yard. Currently working part-time so I’m fully available to pamper your pets on my days off. Need a daily walk and love furry company. I have a fenced yard and a friendly, active, snuggle dog who likes someone to chase him around the yard. After, he will head to the couch for a snooze. I’m the go-to drop in or sitter for my friends and neighbors when they are out of town. Let me take care of your baby too!
“Nutchamon did a great job with Zeus. She kept me updated with pictures and messages. I’m very happy with her services. She reliable and responsive when it comes to responding to messages. I also like that she would send me pictures of him through out the day.”

About: I have worked with shelter dogs for about six years and I have had quite a bit of training on dog behavior, handling, and socializing. My past shelter job required me to become SAFER certified in order to do behavior assessments on dogs coming in. I have worked with hundreds of dogs with a wide variety of behavior issues. As the dog care lead for my last shelter I oversaw the care of up to 120 dogs at a time. Part of the dogs care included medicating, I am familiar with many common health issues and medications and am comfortable administering all forms of medications. I have one small dog of my own, a neutered male that likes other dogs. Right now I am only looking for like sized dogs male or female (20 pounds and under) or very calm bigger dogs to babysit. I live on a small dahlia farm - about two acres, unfenced. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and in bed but you can provide their bedding if you think they’d prefer it. While our house is being built we live in a 2 bedroom “mother in law”. It is small so not ideal for active bigger dogs right now. I only sit one dog at a time, unless the dogs come from the same household or they are known friends and okayed by both families. I have a small dahlia farm so I work from home! I have free range chickens and one senior dog. My typical day revolves around taking care of the animals and flowers. Right now our yard isn’t fenced but it’s a summer goal! I take the dogs for a walk in the morning and then out for potty breaks every couple hours after that.

“Haden took excellent care with our Banjo, introducing him to her two big friendly dogs. Huge fenced shady acreage to run around in (although Banjo preferred to sit, sniff, listen and contemplate life). He even got to meet a sheep (from safely behind a fence)!”

“Kimberly is wonderful! She has an awesome property for dogs to run around and play. She would provide constant updates with great pictures of Lila. She even cleaned Lila up after rolling around in the mud. I will be using Kimberly again!”

“I am the kind of person who hates leaving their dog with anyone because I'm so paranoid the worst case scenario could happen.... Not the case with Roxanne! She was quick to get in touch with me after my initial request and very flexible with my schedule. Clooney's tail wags nonstop as soon as we pull into her driveway, and he seems to forget about me the minute we walk through the door! Roxanne sends periodic texts and pictures throughout the day, which I also love. My mind is always at ease once I drop Clooney off at Roxanne's house, and I would highly recommend her to anyone in the Anacortes and Oak Harbor area!”

“I cannot recommend Tyler and Emily enough for dog care. My dogs immediately felt comfortable in their house, which for one of my dogs can be challenging, as she is quite nervous in new situations. I got tons of communication and photos throughout their stay, and both dogs were snuggling and playing as if they’d known them for a while. I will definitely be back and if anyone is needing incredible dog care, look no further.”

“Was the first time Missy was left with someone not family. Very happy with Sheena in going above and beyond to make our spoiled little girl comfortable. Looking forward to boarding her with Sheema again in July while we go on a short vacation.”

Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine. As a veteran who spends most of my time at home, I'm able to provide consistent attention, walks, feeding schedules, and companionship throughout the day. Caring for animals has always been something I genuinely enjoy. It brings a sense of purpose and calm to my routine. Because of that, I'm very present, attentive, and committed to making sure every pet in my care feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I tailor my care to each pet's individual needs and routine. In my home, I provide a calm, structured environment with regular walks, playtime, feeding schedules, and plenty of attention. I'm home often, so pets are rarely left alone and get consistent care and companionship. In a client's home, I focus on maintaining your pet's normal routine as closely as possible, whether that's feeding times, walks, play, or quiet time. I'm respectful of your home and always aim to keep your pet comfortable, relaxed, and stress-free while you're away. I pay close attention to behavior, energy levels, and comfort, and I'm experienced with both high-energy dogs and senior pets who may need a slower pace and extra care.

“Sarah was able to get Levi in last minute due to a family emergency. Levi spent an a week having the time of his life. Sarah does amazing with daily updates and photos and is very quick to reply to your messages. Very happy with the care Levi receives, I don’t have any worries leaving him in her hands!”

“Very thankful for Kimberly! She sent photos every day and I can tell my girls had a blast. Kimberly was extremely accommodating and took extra steps to make sure I was comfortable (this was my first time boarding). Highly recommend!!”

“Great, and easy to book. Communicates how ever much you want with updates. My dog seemed happy and playful, definitely had a good time. Will definitely book again when needed.”

“When Beebe lost her bonded pair, she experienced separation anxiety and is challenging to leave on her own or with other care givers. I appreciate Kelsey's willingness to care for her very much.”

“My dogs obviously felt comfortable with Nicole and her dogs right from the start. She’s got a nice big fenced yard and they had fun playing together. She really helped me out in a pinch!”

“Katie took such great care of our 2 boys. She gave us regular updates and shared photos often. They were very happy with Katie and her family and pets too! We will be booking Katie again soon!”

“Aarika was absolutely amazing!! She was flexible and communicative through our entire last-minute planning process. She sent daily progress updates and photos of our sweet boy smiling and having so much fun (and getting lots of pats, which he loves!!) We will absolutely be booking with Aarika again! :)”

“Sheri did a great job taking care of my German Shepard. I really liked that she sent pictures and told me what she was up to during the day. She was also really flexible with my schedule and had a nice backyard for Adal to play. Her other dog was very nice too. ”

“Angela was amazing w ollie. He hardly wanted to leave when i got home. She kept in communication every day and sent many photos of ollie having fun. I would highly recommend Angela to anyone needing a dog sitter.”

“We absolutely adore Micheal, and our pup was so happy either her 3 day stay. Not only did she have plenty of outdoor time, but she was treated like a princess indoors too. She got plenty of play with other dogs and came back totally worn out (in a good way). Mushka is a pretty anxious dog overall and we typically give her trazodone when traveling or boarding her, however during her stay with Michael she didn’t need it at all. We are looking forward to her next “vacation” and I’m sure she is too!”
“Great communication and worked around me messing up with the app with ease! Ransford is not necessarily the easiest dog and I got nothing but glowing reports because of how much fun he was having! She did well with his meds and I trusted his safety in the house and with the other family members, furry and human. She will be my first call next time I need a sitter!”
“Clay was an amazing host. He sent regular updates/pictures and was very flexible when I needed to adjust my drop-off and pickup times. Maggie and Arthur loved their stay. Will definitely be boarding with Clay again.”

“Kris was a great pet sitter! Our pups Summit and Lilo loved their stay so much!! They were very responsive and we got picture updates everyday. They made our trip to Mexico a breeze! We would recommend them 1000%!”
