I’m the proud owner of two wonderful dogs: Indy, a 6-year-old Papillon, and Loki, a 3-year-old Corgi. Indy is a calm, observant pup, while Loki is playful and inquisitive, always eager for attention. I raised both dogs from six weeks of age and work from home full-time, so I’m always present to give pets the attention they deserve. Before Indy and Loki, I cared for two cats who each lived to 18 years old, providing them with a happy, well-loved life. During that time, I became experienced with administering insulin shots, pills, capsules, and liquid medications, and I’m attentive to the subtle behaviors and patterns that signal a pet’s needs. My home features multiple pet gates for safe separation when needed, a second floor for flexible space, and a large, fully fenced backyard with lush grass. I live in a quiet, flat, dog walk friendly neighborhood . While I’m not currently sitting cats, I’m happy to provide dogs with consistent care, attention, food, and any required medication. Because I work from home, I can accommodate nearly any reasonable request. I am able to take frequent breaks and often spend that time playing with my two dogs or taking them on walks. They are let out at regular intervals and fed twice a day. I can keep your pet within my view at all times while I’m home and can accommodate a crate if you prefer. I've had dogs my entire life and even as a kid began training them! My friends always choose me when they are going out of town to watch their pups. I actually decided to join Rover after one of the pups I watch dads suggested I should! I work from home with my black lab who loves everyone and is a gentle soul (her 2 besties are a min pin and a golden retriever) and currently she is the only animal in my house. About: My name is Kellen and I live with my wife, daughter and our two puppies, Mya and Dexter. Dexter is an English Mastiff/German Shepard mix and Mya is a Black Lab/Husky mix. They love to lounge around all day and go on adventures with the family!!! Eating seems to be their primary motivation in life. 🤣 I have had many puppies in my life and have loved each one with my whole heart. In the past I have also had ferrets, for about 8 years when I was in college. I work during the week from 5am-4pm and am free all weekends and weeknights after 4pm. I have experience with all different types, sizes and temperaments of dogs. My wife is home full time so if your puppy is staying with us during the week there will always be someone with them at all times. Dexter is not very keen on any dog bigger than his sister and a meet and greet to determine if he would be ok with a big dog would be advised. Mya loves all dogs and loves to play play play! Our little girls also adores dogs and is very gentle and nice with ours, much to our surprise as we thought she may pound on them or pull and poke at them, but she’s so sweet and gentle when petting and talking (babbling) to them. Both of our dogs have completed basic training, so I’m familiar with canine behavior, routines, and positive reinforcement. Whether your pet loves to play or just prefers pets, I’ll make sure they feel like family under my woof… I mean, roof, of course. 🐶🩷 I’m a stay-at-home mom, so I’m always home to care for and love your fur babies! My home is calm and structured, with lots of attention, potty breaks, and supervision throughout the day. I make sure pups get out frequently, and I always monitor them while they’re in our fenced backyard. We enjoy about 30 minutes of dedicated outdoor play 2–3 times a day, and I make adjustments as needed to ensure every dog is having a fun and safe experience. We can always do walks if your pup prefers that, just let me know how I can best care for your fur babies and I will make sure they are comfortable and happy! 🚗 Drop Off/Pick Up Hours: Between 5AM–9PM for both daycare and boarding, if you need a time outside of this timeframe, adjustments can be made, just let me know! I love to help reduce their stress when their family is gone. I make it my job. I am there for the pets so I work my routine around them. Our pets are our family members and I work to give them the care and love they desire while the family is absent. I ask clients questions before hand, ask for a full list of instructions of what the pets require at bed time, meal time, potty time, and kenneling. I ask to meet the clients pets before the pet sitting date so their pets have met me and ask them to show me where they keep all the pet supplies so I can make sure they can leave their pets in my care without having to worry about a thing.
About: I have always loved animals since I was a kid. I’ve been walking, caring for, and sitting for over 10 years for dogs and cats, hamsters, and other animals for family, friends, and clients. I have worked with single animal homes and multi animal homes. Some of my favorite activities with pets are walks and playtime outside. I have had multiple pets of my own both dogs and cats. I can’t wait to get to know your fabulous furry friend. 😊 I currently work for a school district and will have time this summer and throughout the school year to take care of your furry friends. I will take your bestie on wonderful long or short walks depends if on their medical needs and give them loads of attention and play time. I have some experience with animals that need extra medical care and senior dogs as well as that sweet puppy energy.

“Carmen was a life saver! We needed a last minute sitter for the 4th of July weekend. Not only did Carmen respond quickly, but also did some schedule shifting to accommodate our last minute needs. We have a 120lb bullmastiff who is a big teddy bear, but gets pretty excited around dogs and people. He was no problem for Carmen. Throughout our stay we got pictures and updates on how he was doing, acrivities they were doing, or how he was he f comforted when he was stressed/anxious (fireworks).
