As a large, energetic breed, German Shepherds can be a handful, but Rachel handles her with such confidence, care, and expertise. Bella always comes home happy, tired from plenty of play and walks, and clearly well-loved. Rachel is incredibly responsive—messages are answered quickly, and she keeps us updated every step of the way. The daily photo and video updates are a game-changer, showing Bella playing in the yard, cuddling, or just relaxing like she’s at home. She follows all our instructions perfectly (including feeding and exercise routines) and is super flexible; when our flights have been delayed or even canceled, she’s happily accommodated the changes without hesitation. About: I have had 2 dogs and 2 cats in the past and loved them dearly. I haven't had my own dogs recently but have enjoyed my friends dogs and cats immensely! I miss the company of pets and thought this would be an excellent way to have my pet fix by taking care of other peoples pets. Please bring your pets bed or if he or she is comfortable they are free to sleep with me and sit on any couch or chair in the house. I would love to take them for walks to the beach if you approve. I would take them for walks around this quite neighborhood and since I am retired we would have lots of time together to play and enjoy each others company.

About: We have been pet people our entire 40+ years together. We have fostered pups and adopted many pups. Right now we have an older Bichon who loves all dogs! We are retired and love 2 daily hikes on our 3.3 acres in the country. Pups have a window seat to look out and enjoy sun bathing. Dogs are left alone for very short periods of time. Pups sleep near the people. Dogs love it here and we love dogs being here. Retired. I swim 3 days a week, but other than that.... I am home most every day...all day and night. We recently became a one dog home...Our old pup Nike was at least 17 years. Samson, the Bichon loves all dogs and welcomes them with open paws! Our home is safe for dogs and baby proofed for when Grandchildren visit. Safety first is very important standard we live by. We have a dog camera for when we are away at pool, or grocery store.

We are open to all preferences and follow care instructions thoroughly. In my free time, when I'm not caring for pets, I enjoy cooking, traveling, hiking, the outdoors and playing music. I have had animals my entire life. From chinchillas to puppies, I have loved and cared for many breeds types and temperaments. We pride ourselves on our ability to handle all animals and am confident that my experiences will make a stay with us smooth for both pet and owner! I am a stay at home dog mom! I have wide open availability. We provide dog walks, overnights, drop-ins, and all other services. We're available to do any length of time bookings as well! And are constantly available to meet your animals needs! We have a beautiful neighborhood that offers plenty of enjoyment and room to roam! We also have a neighborhood fully fenced dog park 5 minutes walking distance from our home. We are very outdoorsy as well and enjoy long dog walks to our local beach and park.

I get along with all dogs and appreciate the differences in breed/age/temperament. I love all animals but dogs have a special place in my heart. I look forward to caring for your pet. I currently work part time remotely. My schedule is extremely flexible and I can accommodate almost any request from owners and cater to your pets needs. I prioritize the safety and well being of any pet in my care. I am very instinctual with animals, especially dogs & have worked with many different breeds and dispositions.

“Absolutely outstanding boarding experience—Rachel is our go-to for our German Shepherd! We’ve boarded Bella with Rachel multiple times now, and every stay has been perfect. As a large, energetic breed, German Shepherds can be a handful, but Rachel handles her with such confidence, care, and expertise. Bella always comes home happy, tired from plenty of play and walks, and clearly well-loved. Rachel is incredibly responsive—messages are answered quickly, and she keeps us updated every step of the way. The daily photo and video updates are a game-changer, showing Bella playing in the yard, cuddling, or just relaxing like she’s at home. She follows all our instructions perfectly (including feeding and exercise routines) and is super flexible; when our flights have been delayed or even canceled, she’s happily accommodated the changes without hesitation. We feel so lucky to have found someone we trust completely. We’ve already booked our next few trips with Rachel because we honestly can’t imagine anyone else taking care of Bella. “Karissa helped me out in a pinch when I realized I had a long evening ahead and needed care for my 9 mo old puppy. She has a great set up for her pack of dogs, and the ones she sits. My dog is nervous about new dogs at first, and barks for the first few, but she assured me that was no problem, and she eased him in. Within 20 minutes she sent pictures of him getting acquainted with a smile on his face. I felt at ease for my evening plans, and picked up a happy (and tired) pup. Will book again knowing my pup is in good hands for some pack play.”

“We absolutely adore Micheal, and our pup was so happy either her 3 day stay. Not only did she have plenty of outdoor time, but she was treated like a princess indoors too. She got plenty of play with other dogs and came back totally worn out (in a good way). Mushka is a pretty anxious dog overall and we typically give her trazodone when traveling or boarding her, however during her stay with Michael she didn’t need it at all. We are looking forward to her next “vacation” and I’m sure she is too!”
