During our trip, we got pictures and updates whenever we asked for them as Sheena responded quickly. When we picked them up, we got a full report of everything they did with a wonderful update on eating, playing, pooping, etc. Sheena is very experienced and provided dog and child socialization for our puppy in a safe and structured environment. The pups came home tired, well-behaved, and very happy. As a bonus, we paid Sheena to do a little nail trimming since she is a professional groomer as well. About: I have worked with shelter dogs for about six years and I have had quite a bit of training on dog behavior, handling, and socializing. My past shelter job required me to become SAFER certified in order to do behavior assessments on dogs coming in. I have worked with hundreds of dogs with a wide variety of behavior issues. As the dog care lead for my last shelter I oversaw the care of up to 120 dogs at a time. Part of the dogs care included medicating, I am familiar with many common health issues and medications and am comfortable administering all forms of medications. I have one small dog of my own, a neutered male that likes other dogs. Right now I am only looking for like sized dogs male or female (20 pounds and under) or very calm bigger dogs to babysit. I live on a small dahlia farm - about two acres, unfenced. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and in bed but you can provide their bedding if you think they’d prefer it. While our house is being built we live in a 2 bedroom “mother in law”. It is small so not ideal for active bigger dogs right now. I only sit one dog at a time, unless the dogs come from the same household or they are known friends and okayed by both families. I have a small dahlia farm so I work from home! I have free range chickens and one senior dog. My typical day revolves around taking care of the animals and flowers. Right now our yard isn’t fenced but it’s a summer goal! I take the dogs for a walk in the morning and then out for potty breaks every couple hours after that.

My experience is been extensive with a variety of all animals, my foster Mom was an animal whisper if it would had been her she would had had a sanctuary of all kinds of animals. I grew up with parrots, cats, dogs, cows, horses and and even reptiles. I have worked with animals since I was in high school working with a biologist and a Veterinarian learning how to properly care as far as feeding, administering medication, shots and making sure they were properly care. I have help take care of my family and friends pets and I had dogs of my own, had a beautiful and my friend a husky for 17 years and passed away two years ago, took care of him until he went to heaven, currently have my daughters dog moglie and he is a lab/hound great personality he is 8 years old, while she is away I take good care of him. I have also rescue birds and other dogs and nurture them to life. I would like to make this as my career while I learn and take classes to further help the field with animals. For instance would like to get my license on grooming and animal behavior. I was working on retail for 7 years and now that I have an opportunity to work for Rover it will be an honor to take care of your pet family. I will be available to take care of your furry friend, weather is walking, playing fun games, taking care of them, I look forward to working with you and meeting all kinds of friends. I am a great dog walker, fun to be around, love to talk to them, play and take them a good hike, I can also babysit at your home if you are away for days. I trustworthy, reliable and will be able to follow instructions to best fit your pet needs weather is feeding, cleaning them or giving them medication as you instruct.

“Sheena took great care of our 4-month old puppy and 4-year old Moodle. We did a meet and greet and our nervous puppy liked her immediately. During our trip, we got pictures and updates whenever we asked for them as Sheena responded quickly. When we picked them up, we got a full report of everything they did with a wonderful update on eating, playing, pooping, etc. Sheena is very experienced and provided dog and child socialization for our puppy in a safe and structured environment. The pups came home tired, well-behaved, and very happy. As a bonus, we paid Sheena to do a little nail trimming since she is a professional groomer as well. About: I grew up around dogs all my life! I used to volunteer watching over my friends dogs. I understand how precious each and every dog is, and I intend to treat them with the loving they deserve! I work full time Monday thru Friday. I get home around 4:30. But I am usually free on the weekends. Just shoot me a message and I’ll come watch your pups! I have a fenced in back yard, filled with grass. I have a couple of shiba Inus. They are sweet and love meeting new friends!

About: I have been taking care of dogs my whole life! I have experience working at a doggy daycare where I cared for dogs of all different sizes, energy levels, temperaments, and special care needs. Since then, I’ve regularly cared for pets for friends, family, and military coworkers. I am comfortable working with puppies, senior dogs, high energy breeds, and dogs that need a little extra patience. I am currently a stay at home mom with a flexible schedule and plenty of free time! Your fur baby will receive plenty of attention, playtime, and potty breaks! I can stick to your dogs normal routine and of course provide updates and photos throughout their stay. Whether your pet is energetic or prefers a more relaxed environment, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for. Nothing is more important to me than your pets safety and happiness. I have a fully fenced in backyard for safe playtime, and two friendly, well socialized dogs who love making new friends! I always supervise introductions, closely monitor playtime, and can separate pets if needed to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort. I’ll follow your pets feeding schedule, and medication instructions, and of course any special care instructions to ensure they feel right at home! I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family!
