“I was blown away by April's positive attitude and dedication to caring for my golden retriever. She meticulously created a safe, pack-like environment where the dogs felt at home, and the areas were exceptionally clean. Even more impressive were her plans to enhance her already wonderful outdoor space. As a side note, April is a certified dog trainer. Shortly after dropping off my dog and running errands in town, I noticed her diligently and patiently leash-training my dog during a walk, as my GPS took me back past her location. April never mentioned this task on Rover or in person; she simply did it on her own time, free of charge, without boasting. Her quiet integrity and humility are extraordinarily impressive. Best Rover experience so far!”

“We've enjoyed Linda's expertise and care a number of times and this was our first time having Emily help us. We felt she did a wonderful job; was very thorough, communicated the details well, and that both ladies go the extra mile to make sure that both our cat is comfortable and cared for, as well as giving us peace of mind while we're out of town. Emily seemed very friendly, easy-going, kind, compassionate, and experienced with animals. She was flexible with timing, and had no problems administering our cat's medication. I really enjoy working with either of them, and will continue to utilize their services any time we need them. Highly recommend! Thanks again for everything! :)”

“Alyssa did a great job watching my 3 cats. One of whom required a little extra coaxing. They seemed happy and content when I got home. Food and water good, and litter clean. Everything as expected. Would recommend and will use again.”

“I am so happy that I chose Logan to drop in and visit my cat while I was away! He was so relaxed and happy when I got home, which means a lot as he can get anxious when I’m away. Logan gave him lots of quality play time, communicated so quickly, and was extremely flexible. I would definitely recommend Logan for caring and quality pet care!”

“Took great care of our kitties with a very last minute booking after another rover cancelled. Made time for meet and greet and left everything as expected. Would recommend!”

“Jaimie is fabulous. My cat liked her immediately. She took lovely photos and kept me updated on my cat’s eating and litter activities, which I appreciated and made me feel confident that all was well. She made the right decision when faced with a mistake on my part. I trust Jaimie and would highly recommend her. You’d lucky to have her as a pet sitter!”

Need a daily walk and love furry company. I have a fenced yard and a friendly, active, snuggle dog who likes someone to chase him around the yard. After, he will head to the couch for a snooze. About: Hi there, I am a lifelong animal lover with over 15 years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I have worked as a veterinary technician for 3 years, so I’m confident handling dogs with medical needs and have plenty of experience administering medications safely and calmly. I’m home full-time, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, love, and one-on-one care throughout the day. Whether your dog loves long walks, snuggles on the couch, or just someone to keep them company, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and right at home. I’m comfortable with all schedule types—early mornings, late nights, weekends—and am happy to tailor care to your dog’s specific needs and routine. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member! 🐾 I am a stay at home mom so my schedule is extreamly flexible! I am home most of the day usually aside from the occasional grocery run/ errand and can switch things around for your pets needs! In my home, I have a large back yard (non fenced), dogs are allowed on furniture if that makes them more comfortable, since I am home all day, food and water can be readily available at anytime as well. If I am watching them in your home, it’s whatever your needs may be is what I can do! I am happy to take them on walks, play fetch outside or just chill inside with them!
About: I have worked with shelter dogs for about six years and I have had quite a bit of training on dog behavior, handling, and socializing. My past shelter job required me to become SAFER certified in order to do behavior assessments on dogs coming in. I have worked with hundreds of dogs with a wide variety of behavior issues. As the dog care lead for my last shelter I oversaw the care of up to 120 dogs at a time. Part of the dogs care included medicating, I am familiar with many common health issues and medications and am comfortable administering all forms of medications. I have one small dog of my own, a neutered male that likes other dogs. Right now I am only looking for like sized dogs male or female (20 pounds and under) or very calm bigger dogs to babysit. I live on a small dahlia farm - about two acres, unfenced. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and in bed but you can provide their bedding if you think they’d prefer it. While our house is being built we live in a 2 bedroom “mother in law”. It is small so not ideal for active bigger dogs right now. I only sit one dog at a time, unless the dogs come from the same household or they are known friends and okayed by both families. I have a small dahlia farm so I work from home! I have free range chickens and one senior dog. My typical day revolves around taking care of the animals and flowers. Right now our yard isn’t fenced but it’s a summer goal! I take the dogs for a walk in the morning and then out for potty breaks every couple hours after that.
“Haden took excellent care with our Banjo, introducing him to her two big friendly dogs. Huge fenced shady acreage to run around in (although Banjo preferred to sit, sniff, listen and contemplate life). He even got to meet a sheep (from safely behind a fence)!”

“I am the kind of person who hates leaving their dog with anyone because I'm so paranoid the worst case scenario could happen.... Not the case with Roxanne! She was quick to get in touch with me after my initial request and very flexible with my schedule. Clooney's tail wags nonstop as soon as we pull into her driveway, and he seems to forget about me the minute we walk through the door! Roxanne sends periodic texts and pictures throughout the day, which I also love. My mind is always at ease once I drop Clooney off at Roxanne's house, and I would highly recommend her to anyone in the Anacortes and Oak Harbor area!”

“Kimberly is wonderful! She has an awesome property for dogs to run around and play. She would provide constant updates with great pictures of Lila. She even cleaned Lila up after rolling around in the mud. I will be using Kimberly again!”

“Chelsey was absolutely amazing. She regularly texted with pictures and updates and was quick to put my mind at ease when I found myself missing my little pup. I would 100% recommend Chelsey and will be booking again when I am back in the area.”

“I cannot recommend Tyler and Emily enough for dog care. My dogs immediately felt comfortable in their house, which for one of my dogs can be challenging, as she is quite nervous in new situations. I got tons of communication and photos throughout their stay, and both dogs were snuggling and playing as if they’d known them for a while. I will definitely be back and if anyone is needing incredible dog care, look no further.”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and genuinely enjoy spending time with them. I previously worked as a veterinary assistant, where I gained experience handling dogs and cats with a wide variety of personalities, ages, and needs. I’m comfortable administering oral medications, liquids, eye medications, ear medications, topical treatments, and other prescribed medications as directed. I’m also attentive to changes in behavior and health and understand the importance of maintaining routines to help pets feel comfortable and secure. While I’m newer to professional pet sitting, I’m reliable, communicative, and committed to treating every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to provide loving, dependable care and give owners peace of mind while they’re away. This allows me to provide attentive visits, consistent routines, and lots of companionship throughout the day. I look forward to spending quality time with your pets and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets and home. Before working as a veterinary assistant, I worked as an in-home caregiver, which gave me experience working in clients’ homes and taught me the importance of professionalism, respect, reliability, and clear communication. I always treat my clients’ homes with the same care and respect that I would want someone to show my own. I will carefully follow your pet’s routine, feeding instructions, and medication schedule, and I’m comfortable administering oral medications, liquids, eye medications, ear medications, and topical treatments as directed. My veterinary assistant experience also taught me how to safely handle pets, recognize signs of illness or discomfort, and stay calm in unexpected situations.

“My dogs obviously felt comfortable with Nicole and her dogs right from the start. She’s got a nice big fenced yard and they had fun playing together. She really helped me out in a pinch!”

“We absolutely adore Micheal, and our pup was so happy either her 3 day stay. Not only did she have plenty of outdoor time, but she was treated like a princess indoors too. She got plenty of play with other dogs and came back totally worn out (in a good way). Mushka is a pretty anxious dog overall and we typically give her trazodone when traveling or boarding her, however during her stay with Michael she didn’t need it at all. We are looking forward to her next “vacation” and I’m sure she is too!”
