“Lorelei is such a great host! I have boarded my puppy with her about 5 or 7 times over the course of December 2015 and January 2016 and I can only say great things about her. Her apt is very welcoming to dogs as she always has fellow playmates around and has a patio area where they can eliminate. One time, my puppy jumped off the furniture wrong and had hurt himself. She called me immediately and also did the courtesy of contacting DogVacay’s own vet for advice. My experience of Lorelei is that she is very attentive to the dogs and cares for them as if they are her own. As a bonus, Lorelei also wrote me thank you cards! I have booked with someone else when she wasn’t available and now I have learned that if you’re going to book on DogVacay, choose Lorelei!”

Our French Bulldog, Bobo, is our child, and this was the first time we had left him since he suffered an IVDD flare earlier this year. Needless to say, we were incredibly nervous. Because of his recent health issues, he has a number of restrictions and special considerations to help prevent another IVDD flare, and Kevin and Kandice were so attentive and conscientious about following all of his care instructions. They immediately put us at ease and kept us updated throughout our trip with messages and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. Most importantly, it was obvious that Bobo wasn’t just being watched—he was genuinely cared for and loved. When we picked him up, he was happy, comfortable, and clearly had been very well cared for. As pet parents, that’s all you can hope for when leaving your dog with someone else. Kevin and Kandice are trustworthy, compassionate, and truly exceptional. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 14. My first dog was a lab mix and he is now 14 years old. I currently have two cats and two dogs of my own that I have taken care of for the past few years. I have also helped friends and neighbors with their little furry friends by walking and feeding them. My current schedule for right now can be any night time stays. I can also help out anytime after 7:30am Monday to Fridays, or weekends full-day. I am close to local dog parks which I take my two puppies to everyday. They love to play with other dogs there and play tug of war or catch at the park. I also love to take walks by the water or go on hikes with my dogs.

About: I have had pets my entire life dogs, cats, rabbits and horses. I am comfortable around every type of dog, however prefer to sit smaller dogs up to 25lbs. I have a mini dachshund who is 16 years old, who misses having friends around. I am familiar with puppies through seniors. I do work from home 4 days a week. Currently I have an unfenced yard, I use retractable leashes to maintain safety when outside. Your fur-baby will get daily walks and plenty of love. I work from home 4 days a week, giving me the opportunity to give your pet plenty of attention in an adults only home with one dog for companion time. We do daily walks around the neighborhood, in a wooded area or at Manchester state park. I don’t currently have a fenced yard, outdoor time will be on retractable leashes for potty breaks, time on the fenced deck, and daily walks using your pets regular leash. Should pets need to be left home unattended I will ensure everyone is in safe, separate locations close enough companionship but not mischief. Safety and well cared for is my goal.

I can read a dogs body language very well. My dog had aggressive behavior toward other male dogs and I learned a lot from a dog trainer.
