Our French Bulldog, Bobo, is our child, and this was the first time we had left him since he suffered an IVDD flare earlier this year. Needless to say, we were incredibly nervous. Because of his recent health issues, he has a number of restrictions and special considerations to help prevent another IVDD flare, and Kevin and Kandice were so attentive and conscientious about following all of his care instructions. They immediately put us at ease and kept us updated throughout our trip with messages and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. Most importantly, it was obvious that Bobo wasn’t just being watched—he was genuinely cared for and loved. When we picked him up, he was happy, comfortable, and clearly had been very well cared for. “Kimberly went above and beyond my expectations or my additional requests.Im a 1st time user of Rover, and in fact have never had a cat/pet-sitter before. Kimberly got back to my inquiry within 15 minutes, and was able to help me with less than 12 hours notice. Upon my request, I asked if she could come by the house so I could leave her all my (insane and overly protectiveness) notes. We had initially agreed to 30 min drop-ins everyday, but after I met her I asked if she could do 2 visits a day, which she was able to accommodate my worry for leaving my cat alone. Kimberly provided photos of my cat EVERY VISIT and messaged me every time I needed to check-in (for my sanity). I had interior cameras set up and could honestly look in when I was curious, but she was amazing and meeting all my cats needs. Her interaction, and updates showed me that aside from me, and including my daughter, my cat seemed to love her almost as much as me! My cat was even following her out every visit the last few days! Kimberly loved my cat, and even fed the outdoor birds & squirrels in my absence since they are my cats TV entertainment throughout the days. ***Note: I didn't even return to a "present" from my cat! About: i grew up with parents that loved reptiles, farm animals, cats and dogs. at a young age i became responsible for feeding, then walking, the older i got, the more responsibilities i had. i’ve owned/ own big and small dogs, and a few crazy cats i’m currently going to school online, and not working. i leave my home to hike daily, or walk the around downtown daily in the mornings to catch the morning sun, and usually around sunset to stretch my legs. i would like to spend more time outside, and being able to help pet owners while getting the exercise i want would be amazing! About: I have had and cared for many animals since I was very young. I have also pet sit, walked and cared for many of my friends and neighbors animals. I feed my cats daily and give fresh water twice daily. I brush my cats weekly or as needed. The cats have toys they play with on their own and I use the laser toy when the cats want to play. They have a scratch post well.
