She always responded to my messages within minutes, and sent me several updates, pictures, and videos of my babies every day. She also made sure to ask questions about habits, personalities, medications, feeding, etc. I was so scared to drop them off, but Samantha quickly eased my anxiety, making sure I knew they were okay and adjusting well. I cant recommend her enough. Ellie is hard to win over and within a couple of days I find out that she is following Samantha all over the house. A very impressive feat. About: I’ve been caring for animals for 10years and have cared for many different dogs breeds from young to senior. I was raised around many types of animals including horses, dogs, cats. My love for animals shows in my ability to be patient and assess their individual needs. Your animal will be well taken care of and have you feeling worry free. In my home I feed animals 2 times a day at 8am and 8pm. I take dogs out to go to the bathroom at 7:30am, 11:30am, 3:00pm, 6:00pm and lastly at 9:00pm. If your animals needs to go out after that I will do so. I have an unfenced yard but use a staked leash in the ground. I also can take them out on your leash if your more comfortable with that, but if your dog is a jumper (needing a 6ft fence) he/ she will be leashed walked for potty time and can walk them for a good period of time. Everyday at the best weathered part of the day or around noon I will be taking your fur-baby out for at least an hour walk or go to the dog park/ run if allowed during longer stays (more than 2 days). For the animals that I will be taking care of at their home I will feed them on the schedule that you have for them already and as close to those times as possible. I will take them on a 30 min walk at least once a day and give take them out to go to the bathroom once in the morning and once in the evening. If you let me know what needs to be done and it will be done as close to the times as possible Please let me know ahead of time if your dog has any special needs or allergies i.e. seasonal and/or food so I can take the appropriate measures to insure he/she has a wonderful time within those limits. I also request that you let me know of any behavioral needs that he/she has ahead of time. for example if they get along with other dogs and animals, or pull on there leash ( mainly for bigger dogs) etc.

She has great communication, she followed our probably annoyingly detailed directions, she she is very clean, she is nice, and most importantly we could sense that she really cared about our cat. Our cat does not warm up to everyone but Jillian seemed to have little problem making friends with him. :) Jillian helped us to enjoy our trip more than normal because we just knew we had nothing to worry about with our cat’s health and happiness while we were away. And gosh it’s priceless to return from a long trip to find a house just as clean as we left it (if not cleaner). About: Dogs seem to love me because I love them. We have a lot of fun! I make them feel valued and important. I give them lots of attention and love. Because I'm fair and big on respect, they feel safe loved calm and happy. They really thrive on that Dogs really need to get out run and play. I take them early in the morning and then at dusk. This is important for their mental as well as physical well being. It's the best part of my day. Also I have calm uplifting music playing during the day which aides to a calm relaxed atmosphere and they seem to really enjoy it. I have two dogs that compete and play frisbee and I can teach your dog too. I also like good nutritious treats and make my own. Dogs are God's wonderful complement to mankind. I love them!!!
About: I use gentle, kind, positive training. Safety and well being are my top priorities. I only watch one to two dogs at a time so I can give your dog the attention they need. I treat them as one of the family when they stay with me. My neutered male goldendoodle will love to play with your dog all day. I crate as little as possible. I only crate when I leave the house for a bit and at bedtime. The dogs get to run around in the yard and be supervised for safety. I will throw a ball or stick for the dogs. We have toys, sticks and bones to chew on. If they know how to use a doggy door that's a plus and I am willing to train. I have a 1/2 acre fenced backyard. *Part of my fence is only 4 foot tall, if you think your dog will jump over it, I probably won't be a good fit for you. Your dog's safety and welfare is my highest priority. The dogs have their own area inside my house in the main room by the backdoor slider, they are not allowed to run all over the house or be up on the furniture. They are constantly supervised. The dogs can go in and out of the house all day through their own doggy door, if they don't like the doggy door I will open the back door for them. There is fresh water available inside the house and outside all day long. Your dog will be fed on your current schedule, I try to keep their normal routine as much as possible. I will crate them for bedtime in my kitchen from 9pm to 6am. Bring an item that smells like home for them to sleep with, to help them feel calm.

At Cookie's Companions, safety always comes first! We try to meet all of our clients prior to the stay to be sure that pets are comfortable, but we do take same day visits on a case by case basis. If I am dropping in, I follow owner instructions carefully and I come with dog treats at the ready to let your little one know that I am a friend! When walking, leashes are always used, and with large dogs I usually have a second leash that hooks to my waist, just as an added security measure. I always use sidewalks and safety crossings as well.

Studying wildlife biology / pre vet science with the end goal of being a wildlife veterinarian. I’ve personally owned pets all my life including many dogs, cats, fish, insects and lizards. I love all and every type of animal, I have two dogs and cared for many others, some breeds including labs, Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, mini pinchers, and more. I have a tremendous love for animals and would care and love them as there were my own. I have a lot of patience and understanding with dogs as well as for people. I currently work part time and am in college. However, my availability is pretty flexible to care for me to care for your fur babies. I am able to provide play time, walks if needed and frequent potty breaks. I make sure if your pets are allowed or not allowed outside and proceed accordingly with my care for them while also making sure they are well taken care of

I have taken care of all sorts of animals--dogs, cats, birds, lizards, hamsters, bunnies, horses, pigs, goats, chickens and even cows! I feel comfortable with pets who have medical issues, as well. I also have done a fair amount of pet massages for dogs and cats (not lizards, though!!) I have an online business, so I usually housesit and work part-time online. This makes it very easy for me to be in a home with pets who need more attention, or dogs that need walked often. I have done all levels of pet care-from simple one hour drop-in visits for cats to feeding and cleaning up for horses and cows (extra fee for that!!) So, I am very versatile with my clients! I also find that I bond easily with pets, and can often connect to shy or nervous cats and dogs by being present, calm and talking to them. I also know to leave someone alone when they just don't want to connect. I usually do lots of walks and playing together as well as simply sitting and petting and offering yummy treats!
About: I will feed and water your pets as needed take them out for lots of walks! Give lots of attention or comfort when they miss you and or cry for you I have a pets that have done that. Take them potty as much as they need I love animals. I am flex so I will work and help animals as much as needed or even do drop byes what ever is needed. i love going outside and walking pets and helping people with there pets cat or dog Ill pay with them clean there cat boxes I do all of that. About: I have taken care of any animal you can think of. I worked in veterinary clinics for 15 years. One of the clinics sees all animals including wildlife. I have dealt with a lot of emergencies and understand animal body language well. I have 2 dogs, 3 cats, 1 horse and a rabbit. I really do love animals and love taking care of them. If there are any special needs I can take care of it. I know all techniques for giving medication if necessary. I do have a regular job so this will be my second job. I will always try to work any if your pets needs into my schedule. The care of your babies is the most important so I will always put the animals needs first. I grew up in spokane so I know the area well and don't mind the snow. I have helped run a horse barn so I know how to keep a tight schedule while still making sure animals are taken care of. I can walk, bath, drive, cuddle, play,and groom them whenever you need. I know how to keep myself and home clean so I do not transfer anything from other pets into your home.

“Samantha was absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectations. I had an emergency and she was able to take my 3 Basset Hounds within a couple of hours. They stayed with her for a week. My dogs were welcomed with open arms and treated exactly how they are at home- even getting to sleep in bed with her and snuggle time on the couch. She always responded to my messages within minutes, and sent me several updates, pictures, and videos of my babies every day. She also made sure to ask questions about habits, personalities, medications, feeding, etc. I was so scared to drop them off, but Samantha quickly eased my anxiety, making sure I knew they were okay and adjusting well. I cant recommend her enough. Ellie is hard to win over and within a couple of days I find out that she is following Samantha all over the house. A very impressive feat.
