About: I’m from the Seattle area and I’ve been with Rover since 2018. In 2020 I got married to Micaiah my husband. When we married we added an additional cat to the family that belonged to him. So we have 4 cats. Before Rover I volunteered at PetsMart with Purrfect pals. One day a week I would help with cleaning, playing, and as a team member I helped cats find a furrrever home. My first cat in my life was when I was 8. I have always enjoyed pets and nature. So I decided to combine walking and dogs. Walks in the park or just around the block. I’m looking to be your new regular dog walker. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your pets!! I’m also a very detail and observant person so walks, sittings, and daycare services would also have a description of how your pet is doing. I chart any different behavior or eating habits along with health concerns. Updates with photos would be a priority. I'd also ask for the dog's vet info and emergency contacts. Have a paw-some day! My schedule is flexible. I usually find clients prefer weekday schedule M-F routine for walks. This is my full time job! My time is your time! I’m very safety cautious. I will keep updates and photos on the pet regularly during the day. I also request the pet’s medical information and their vet clinic. I’m pretty flexiable with scheduling. I try my best to fit in the schedule my clients want for their pets. Only days I need off for two hours are Sunday and Thursday. For security and safety I please ask for NO GUNS OR SUBSTANCES in house. I want to feel safe in the environment same goes for your pets. Thanks! I’m making this a full time job. M-F. I’m flexible with the scheduling. I’m open to picking up and dropping off clients dogs. Dogs will have one of us home with them. I have a fenced yard and five cats. “Samantha was absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectations. I had an emergency and she was able to take my 3 Basset Hounds within a couple of hours. They stayed with her for a week. My dogs were welcomed with open arms and treated exactly how they are at home- even getting to sleep in bed with her and snuggle time on the couch. She always responded to my messages within minutes, and sent me several updates, pictures, and videos of my babies every day. She also made sure to ask questions about habits, personalities, medications, feeding, etc. I was so scared to drop them off, but Samantha quickly eased my anxiety, making sure I knew they were okay and adjusting well. I cant recommend her enough. Ellie is hard to win over and within a couple of days I find out that she is following Samantha all over the house. A very impressive feat. About: I have had animal experience since the age of 10. I feel like all animals are family, I hate cruelty to animal I love them as if they were all mine. Their health and behavior are my priority. And how much they need love.They count on us to take care of them that's what makes them good to us. I want puppies ( all dogs are puppies yo me)to feel wanted they will be loyal till the end. About: I have taken care of cats and dogs since I was 10 years old, any breed or size. I even used to have 2 of my own before they passed away . But now i can’t house any dogs so id love to take care of yours ! I am currently in college at EWU and on the track and cross country team . About: For four years, I provided dependable care for my friend’s cat and bunny while she attended college in another city. I made sure they were fed on schedule, refreshed their water daily, cleaned litter boxes and living areas, monitored their health and behavior, gave them affection and attention, and ensured they felt safe and comfortable. I have taken care of animals ever since I started college and did it almost monthly for two years. I can do daily check ups after 4:15pm from Monday through Friday. About: Dogs seem to love me because I love them. We have a lot of fun! I make them feel valued and important. I give them lots of attention and love. Because I'm fair and big on respect, they feel safe loved calm and happy. They really thrive on that Dogs really need to get out run and play. I take them early in the morning and then at dusk. This is important for their mental as well as physical well being. It's the best part of my day. Also I have calm uplifting music playing during the day which aides to a calm relaxed atmosphere and they seem to really enjoy it. I have two dogs that compete and play frisbee and I can teach your dog too. I also like good nutritious treats and make my own. Dogs are God's wonderful complement to mankind. I love them!!!

About: years full of pet experience , house sitting for my aunts & uncles. capable of giving shots to dogs as i have been doing for a year or two watching my aunts dog that is diabetic & needed an insulin shot every time she ate! i am such an animal lover whether your pet needs physical affection or just someone around to keep company. i am currently a student , i have three long days , i am in school monday, tuesday & wednesday from 9am-7:30pm. if your pet is super low maintenance i can be there in the morning before school & come over after school , but thursday-sunday would be best because i am available throughout the whole days those four days for those higher maintenance pets :) i love showing pets the love & attention that they deserve. from belly scratching , toy playing , i am pretty active even small walks for the dogs says a lot! i am unable to board pets at my own home but anytime you need a sitter around im there for your fur babies!
About: Took care of a natural history museum’s (Sternberg natural history museum) animals for a year. Did the same at a zoo (Rolling Hills Zoo) for 6 years. Studying wildlife biology / pre vet science with the end goal of being a wildlife veterinarian. I’ve personally owned pets all my life including many dogs, cats, fish, insects and lizards. Additionally I've been on Rover for years as a teen but my mother owned the account (if you’d like proof of that I can give my mothers account to see my prior experience) but I did all the sitting. Now that I’m an adult in college I plan on continuing it myself. During this summer I am just taking one summer online course and doing some volunteer odd jobs so I am extremely flexible and available. Whenever you prefer at whatever frequency you want I most likely can make it work. While I don’t offer pets in my home I am very familiar with managing pets in others homes. Just tell me what you and the pet is comfortable with and I will follow it. Additionally any messes that may happen I will make sure to clean throughly. My #1 priority is your pet’s health, mental and physical. However the very next priority is your home. When house sitting I’m more than aware of the need to be respectful of the space. I will do my best to leave it just as I found it, or even cleaner.

So, I've gotten very good at reading their body language and comforting them when they are upset. I have volunteered with the Humane Society and other rescue programs and I have experience with a variety of animals, both large and small. At Cookie's Companions, safety always comes first! We try to meet all of our clients prior to the stay to be sure that pets are comfortable, but we do take same day visits on a case by case basis. If I am dropping in, I follow owner instructions carefully and I come with dog treats at the ready to let your little one know that I am a friend! When walking, leashes are always used, and with large dogs I usually have a second leash that hooks to my waist, just as an added security measure. I always use sidewalks and safety crossings as well.

About: Hello, my name is Taijah and I’m 23 years old. I am going to school to pursue a career in nursing. I love all and every type of animal, I have two dogs and cared for many others, some breeds including labs, Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, mini pinchers, and more. I have volunteered at many animal shelters in my area like RASKC. I am available pretty much seven days a week any time during the day, I would just need at least a weeks notice for long periods of time. I have a tremendous love for animals and would care and love them as there were my own. I have a lot of patience and understanding with dogs as well as for people. I currently work part time and am in college. However, my availability is pretty flexible to care for me to care for your fur babies. I have taken care of all sorts of animals--dogs, cats, birds, lizards, hamsters, bunnies, horses, pigs, goats, chickens and even cows! I feel comfortable with pets who have medical issues, as well. I also have done a fair amount of pet massages for dogs and cats (not lizards, though!!) I have an online business, so I usually housesit and work part-time online. This makes it very easy for me to be in a home with pets who need more attention, or dogs that need walked often. I have done all levels of pet care-from simple one hour drop-in visits for cats to feeding and cleaning up for horses and cows (extra fee for that!!) So, I am very versatile with my clients! I also find that I bond easily with pets, and can often connect to shy or nervous cats and dogs by being present, calm and talking to them. I also know to leave someone alone when they just don't want to connect. I usually do lots of walks and playing together as well as simply sitting and petting and offering yummy treats!
About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve been volunteering, fostering, & working professionally with dogs, reptiles, & other animals for 10+ years. I've yet to meet a pup that I haven't loved, and vice versa. I have a high energy dog of my own, and I have previously worked at a doggy daycare & a grooming salon, so I have tons of hands-on experience with every dog breed and temperament you can imagine. My time at the doggy daycare gave me insight into animal body language, so I feel very comfortable handling multiple pups at a time as well as anxious dogs or ones that require some extra care. Animals generally seem to be much more at ease in the comfort of their own homes, so my main service is in home sitting or drop-in visits. I am also comfortable handling caged animals & reptiles. I have worked in a pet store & taken care of everything from fish and hamsters to birds & snakes. I also have two snakes & a lizard of my own. I am happy to travel to housesit, so feel free to send a request no matter how far you may be. I am also a photographer & am happy to include a photo package in your sit if that’s something that would interest you! I recently quit my job to spend two months volunteering at a wildlife sanctuary in South America, so I currently have all the time in the world for your pets, & I couldn’t imagine a better way to spend this period of free time than with animals. I do my best to emulate your pet’s usual schedule in your home. If I need to leave for any period of time & can’t take your pup with me, I’d leave them however you normally do. My goal is to cause as little stress as possible so I do my best to stick to the routines they are already used to.

“Samantha was absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectations. I had an emergency and she was able to take my 3 Basset Hounds within a couple of hours. They stayed with her for a week. My dogs were welcomed with open arms and treated exactly how they are at home- even getting to sleep in bed with her and snuggle time on the couch. She always responded to my messages within minutes, and sent me several updates, pictures, and videos of my babies every day. She also made sure to ask questions about habits, personalities, medications, feeding, etc. I was so scared to drop them off, but Samantha quickly eased my anxiety, making sure I knew they were okay and adjusting well. About: I have had dogs in my home since I was a child and I have brought my kids up with pups, too! I am familiar with dogs of all ages and when your dog is here they will be treated like family. I am also respectful of any training that you have done with your pup and am happy to work with your household rules, too! I am on summer break as a teacher so I am typically home during the day for unlimited potty breaks, walks, love, and attention. Dogs are family and your pup and I will interact all day. I have a fenced yard and a six year old, friendly, energetic pup of my own for your dog to play with. I also have two children who are familiar with dogs, boundaries, and appropriate play.
